Hello Volvogemeinde, I’m happy to announce that I just ordered something nice: VOLVO XC60 D5 AWD Kinetic – Silver Metallic – Hand Switch – Business Package PRO – Winter Package PRO – Outdoor Mirror Folding with Lights – Speed-dependent Power Steering – Interior Mirror Automatic Blending – Zephyrus 18″ rims – Panoramic sliding roof – Upholstery Eriksberg anthracite – Rain Sensor – Day Running Light (I hope that was not a mistake) – Protection plate rear – Hanger coupling removable So, according to me it takes now 8-10 weeks – where apparently at the moment delivery stop for XC60 is (any technical problems?) I’m going to spend the last days with my XC70… a funny feeling of being unfaithful…

Pictures of the V70 with and without roof railing searched
Hello together We get our V70 2.5FT Momentum in Oyster Grey at the end of November. Now the car has a black roof rail because of the Stockholm Pack. But I don’t like this thing in black, which is why I asked the dealer what to do. His answer was: scrape off or order and change as accessories in silver. Now I’ve been looking for photos of V70 with roof railing in black, silver and without to decide what looks better. Of course, everything in the car color Oyster Grey would be perfect, but any other color would be welcome. Can anyone help me? LG Pierre

V70 III: Driver Alert or prefer level control
Hello together, since our V70 D5 (EZ 04/08) in Spain has been “wound together” and is now a total damage, we want to order another V70 m. of the new D5 machine. Since it is a company car and therefore only a certain budget is available, my question: Dear level control or better Driver Alert? Background: We are a family with 3 kids, when it goes on vacation, the car is packed to the last crack. (But we do not have a trailer/trailer coupling for trailer operation). Do I really need a level regulation? Or is the money better invested in the Driver Alert/track assistant, since my better half likes to nimble a bit? Look forward to your recommendations and comments!

XC 60 Handy features via USB connection
Moin Moin.. am new here and next week my XC 60. I’m already really excited. The big question is the decision for a suitable mobile phone. Here is already a lot written about it.. On the Volvo homepage I have already read in regarding the Bluetooth connections and the respective functionality of the recommended mobile phones. Well yes.. is not exactly extensive about the choice of the mobile phones. With the Bluetooth connection you have to accept restrictions everywhere in the operation of the high performance multimedia system. What is always noticeable to me is this with many phones e.g. the track display is not supported. Well.. now to my question…isn’t it better to connect the mobile phone via USB?? and so I don’t have the complete access to my phone?? So I should also be able to use the hands-free device.. as well as to the phone book, the music files with track display etc….to access my mobile phone is loaded… Hmmm so brought to the point.. Bluetooth only conditional control and via USB complete access?? Would be great if someone could tell me anything..

XC60 used – what to pay attention to when buying
Hello dear Volvo community! For a long time I have wanted to drive Volvo. In particular it is about the XC60. Now there is a purchase in the room. The budget is relatively limited (about 25t), for example a Korean new SUV comes into question or just a used XC60 (bsow from Bj 2012/120000km). Now for me, of course, the question arises, what you have to pay attention to with used XC60 so. – Are there any flaws? – Are there any necessary repairs or service that are ideally already done or with which to expect? – Does Volvo have access to the toilet for any vintage? Would I be very happy about help, maybe I will soon be a real member Thank you!

My moose is falling in Italy! Generator broken!!
After a good time, we had a really great holiday in the south and the V70 brought us great back and forth, good 1400km alone the drive! And on the way back, we had to get rid of him in Italy shortly before Brenner and we had to resort to the adac. I had already feared that this funny noise of the last 2-3 days doesn’t promise anything good. But since I didn’t otherwise hear a ticking from the engine and did not necessarily want to go to a workshop so shortly before return, I thought that will be the fan the extra turned up at the hot temperatures. Well, classic case of think well!! After a good 300km red warning light and hint on “generator urgent maintenance ” nebst red battery!! Oh!! That didn’t look good, so I should try it out of the next Volvo dealer in Trento and clear, it was close to 18:00, so no master left in the house. The seller who was still out then took a friendly look at the problem and analyzed the whole night, he said yes to make it home, as long as the engine started without problems, so the battery started to give itself!

Problems since Service 2.0 V70 T6 Model 2008
Hello, since my retirement, belong to the Wenig drivers, only 65,000 Km on the clock. I let myself play the Service 2.0 in the fall of 2014 and since then only problems. The built-in phone often does not work, demands after the Sim card, although this is inside and enough money on it. Can only lead to a conversation from time to time, or accept. Also no call forwarding on “non-reach”, or “occupied” on my iPhone. The screen return camera ( Navi) drives without inserted “R” after ignition position “I” or “II” already out and does not drive on independently at position “D”, only at position 0. The Navi targets as well as the addresses stored in the phone are gone. My Volvo dealer postal code 91583 always says only, looker once. Have already sent an email to Volvo Cologne with the result that you sent my complaint after postal code 91583 and they have regretted that I have already had unresponsions since service 2.0. I should contact my dealer. Yes, was a very great help, if I would have been able to tell a cow of success, but I should have been able to write to say about it successfully.

6 gear GT, crazy…
The Geartronic of my S80 D5 AWD (MJ 2011, 120.000km) just makes me despair. The following symptoms occur: sporadic jerking when switching automatically from the 3rd to the 2nd gear. Sporadic intensive jerking when changing the drive stage from “Neutral” to “Drive”. The strange thing is that this jerking occurs only sporadicly and not permanently again. It comes to me especially when the engine and transmission are warm. The following works have already been done by the Volvo contractor: error memory read out (no errors) Complete transmission flushing. Current SW played out. Unfortunately no improvement. Now I have a date for calibration of the GT. Supposedly, this is a huge effort. Does anyone have experience with it? Did someone have the same symptoms on his 6 gear GT? Thank you for your help. LG, Nordisk.

Comparison V60 and BMW 3 Series Touring
Hello dear Volvo community, since I change my vehicles on average every four years (sh. signature), I have been looking for a successor for my 320i touring for a long time. Due to the company philosophy of Volvo, the brand is quite likeable and is on top of my note. I have already tested the V 70 several times. Since I was (still) somewhat disturbed by the size and durability, yesterday a test drive with a V 60 D3 momentum from 2011 (163 hp automatic) was available. I would like to report on the comparison of both vehicles and then get rid of a question. Pro BMW: Pro Volvo: Undecisive: Conclusion: The V 60 is a nice car. However, it did not immediately “Klick”. I then felt more comfortable in the BMW. But after the first hard blows in the back of this feeling again. If I want to change the car next year, the 3 model is still not in the budget (where I also have to test the ride comfort first. But it should be better in the F31 than in the E91). From the V 60, however, if I want to be able to make a replacement with the V?
