Hello to the round, I came across this V70 by chance while browsing and would like to know what you think about it. Unfortunately, I hardly know about Volvo and would need an assessment. Does the engine fit itself and is the gas tight? Is this a Volvo machine or is it a Ford engine? How stable is the electrics/electronics with a 10 year old?

Has anyone ever retrofitted the electric engine preheating, had it retrofitted or had it already when buying in the car? I would leave the installation, which is equipped with 2 left hands, to a workshop. Does the system do what? Unfortunately, I did not find a price. Since our only garage is inhabited by Saab, I think about the heating system, in order to make the V70 the short distances in the winter half year a bit less wear.

Hello guys, I bought a volvo v70 from the year 2008 that made loud noises in the servo steering from the beginning. Diagnosis in the workshop was defective pump. As a result I installed a new pump ordered from volvo and made another oil change, unfortunately the smell is still there! After starting the engine it takes about 3 seconds until the howling starts in the balance tank is immediately foam… I checked all hoses and dogar replaced the pressure switch without success. The statement of my volvo dealer on site is to exchange the entire servo system! Other workshops are at a loss! I hope someone can help me here

Pickerlprüfung (Austrian for TÜV/main examination) has shown that the right front wing joint already has some play and will probably not live forever. I have not looked at it exactly yet, but I have the impression that it would not be too difficult to exchange the part itself. So if there is not exactly something pressed in or you have to work around at the steering. Part number is 31429320, am not yet sure if original is necessary (cost approx. 200 Euro). Bildelsbasen also uses 80 Euro with < 10000km or from third-party manufacturers around 80 Euro in the bay. Now that is not a precision part should make no difference in quality? Unfortunately I only found videos of older models. Does anyone have a repair instruction ready for this? Has someone already done this and like to express their opinion? Moien Moien, my OVLOV is pulling around again. 122000 km are now on the clock and now it accelerates as if it were hanging on a rubber band. i.e. during the acceleration process the speed drops again and again more strongly than normal. (the car has a DSG) End speed is reached without any problems. No turbo noise etc.. Does anyone have another idea? Furthermore, the steering wheel – (straight out is good) from 130kmh the vibration is gone. I hope it is just an imbalance in the rim… …or does anything else come into question? With our Xc60 (D5 205 HP) the timing belt change is now due. After reading here that this is not as elaborate as with VW, the offer of the (885€) really cut me out of my socks. ATU made me an offer over 479€. What irritates me is that ATU wants to change 1 pulley and 1 pulley, Volvo does not have such a thing on the KVA. Here are only 2 straps (Art.-Nr: VO31325042 and VO31330870) on it. Does something go wrong here? Another workshop spoke I don’t see any belts on the Internet, but also only corresponding rollers. Can someone explain what is right here?
