  • New product V 70 III RDesign – back to Volvo

    Hello together, as a Volvo returner I would like to say hello to you briefly. As can be seen from my signature, I have been with Volvo and have been back for two weeks now. The last few years I have driven Audi A4 Avant as an ambition, a great sporty car, if you are only two and do not need a trunk? Now the family growth demands its tribute in the form of countless bumps and more space in the trunk. So I only stayed to look around for some size Rem. And since I always liked the V70, it came next to the passat (not complaining…) into the short choice. The A6 as Avant left for me as a private buyer. After a long search I found my sweetheart. It has become a V70 D3 with Geartronic in RDesign, black and all nice amenities. As MY 2012 with 7400 km mileage as good as nibble-new. What should I say, a great car! To the slightly different way of moving forward with the Geartronic and the performance/Wi I still have to get used to the real-life composition. The Audi was naturally more sporty. But as a dad you can also let it go more quietly? Would you like a good ride!

  • No gas acceptance

    Hello together, does anyone know the problem? Today on the highway happens, I am speeding up 100, 120, 140, 160, 180 then someone slows down in front of me on the track, I walk off the gas and approach slowly, speed is so about 170, which before me has finished its overtaking process and frees the track again and I push again on the pedal but nothing pushes forwards on the contrary, I get even slower. Now I have pressed the accelerator completely through, automatic switches a Go back, speed goes up and it accelerates very slowly. I then let go of the pedal and waited until the speedometer showed again about 160 and then accelerated again, now look it pulls again from then, really fast up to 200. Since the highway was very empty I let again speed lose up to 170 and see there again nothing. Now I let it slow down a little more up to 120 and again accelerated up to 200, without any problems. I tested it about 5 times. nd at the 5 times I was able to accelerate again at 170 normal.   • V70 III 2.0F LPG conversion: BRS or Prins?

    Hello, when looking for a new Volvo station wagon and considering whether diesel, petrol or gas I am still not at the destination. Depending on the purchase price of the “refurbishment base” gas is very advantageous and probably a little more promising than diesel. Offer for a BRC Sequent 32 and a Prins VSI-2 available. Price difference approx. 400 Euro incl. valve additional lubrication. Does anyone have a recommendation or does one of the two systems know?   • Volvo XC60 and a washing machine

    Hello community. I brought a brand new Volvo XC60 D5 (dream car) to unlock the brand new E-set and TRM module into a SWEDEN Volvo workshop. This garage had problems with downloading and installing the required software, it didn’t work right away. The fun cost me instead of 11 euros then 180.- Euro. Fact is : A new car, a new TRM module that doesn’t work will not be repaired on kulanz. The garage does that at my expense and VCG find My washing machine which did not work during the warranty period was repaired for free.

  • Volvo V70 without USB retrofit?

    Hello! I have had a Volvo V70 MJ2010 since almost 1 1/2 WEEKS (show follows in better weather :-D) This one has “only” the completely sufficient standard music system. However, I wonder if retrofitting is so easy. The radio has an Aux input. I could imagine e.g. the Kenwood KOS210. In doing so, you can feed the signal via the AUX or via the antenna. But.. does the radio have a simple, normal antenna plug? What possibilities do you have? So far installed? Greetings, Holger

  • Black, beautiful, safe, fast – new moose

    Hello together, After 12 years and over a quarter of a million km I separated myself from my faithful and reliable V40, and commissioned a V60, which I have been driving since about 2000Km. Time for a first conclusion, and opportunity to thank everyone who helped me with the decision. After a few glances over the fence to the four rings with crisp VDU it has become something more individual: Volvo V60 T6 MY13 Momentum with Polestar in Ember Black Pearl Dri ver Dynamics Pack (Four-C chassis) Winter Pack mt Dual-Xenon and active cornering light Business Prof. Pack Driver Support pack Rearview camera, AhK, Sleipner 18inch Summer / current Njord 17inch Winter So far I am very satisfied, the space is quite good, engine makes a lot of fun, workmanship is good, seats comfortable, operation a little fuzzy little buttons but OK, sound is good, AWD has proven itself well in the snow, the active cornering light is great, City Safety is innovative and the distancer adar I really appreciated on the highway or in the stop-and-go. Nevertheless, I would like to mention what I like less, I hope that doesn’t sound too negative: The lighting of the trunk is really poor, why not LED? Too bad the ventilation nozzles are not illuminated. You have to put the clock “by hand” but could go via GPS? The navigator is… well, as far as OK, I imagined worse that the voice control in Switzerland is not working unv I would have liked more “difference” from the 4C chassis, I don’t notice much when switching. I would have preferred the chassis from the R design, but that’s not alone. The Geartronic is just a Geartronic, I get used to the machines only hard, even if it makes sense in combination to the distance radar, and in sport mode I probably switch faster than manually, it just feels kind of sluggish. Fun would be a DSG or natural. In general, I seem to have become conservative… I don’t really care about the electric handbrake, and the “start button” doesn’t help me either, so you pull the key out and the engine still keeps running, and after the switch off the radio runs even further… oh, come on. And vice versa, I forget the key in the car all the time when I press the button. Well, it’s still going. Nevertheless, all in all, I’m happy, and w I didn’t like it so much – also thanks to you – already knew and consciously accepted. A hadswitched T6 with R-design suspension and G*rmin Navi… that would have been perfect πŸ˜‰ And because this is so custom, I also put a few photos pure love greetings Bluefoxx

  • ACC/Bremsassist “overrule” in case of error…?

    Moin together! It was discussed at last often about the pros and cons of distance tempomat/brake assistant/collision warners… An important detail for me I have not yet mentioned, even in a current V60 operating manual not! Scenario: – Volvo equipped with driving chassis package cruist on highway. ACC/brake assistant suddenly lights up “red” and strikes alarm “Running danger!!!einself!”. – But man/driver sees: THAT IS NOTHING. The system SPINNT ! – *Behind the Volvo there is a ten-ton truck. – Would the high-tech vehicle start a braking, although VORM vehicle is nothing (= system error), but clearly HINTERM Volvo is in danger of trouble, the Assi system would provoke an accident and not avoid… Question – unfortunately my friend also did not have a safe answer: Can such a situation be overruled without idiots – e.g.: hearty pressure on the accelerator instead of the brake. the Volvo philosophy about such automatic systems is/was to intervene ONLY if the driver obviously does not do anything. Would he do something, and the opposite of what the automatic just thinks is right, the box would have to follow the driver again… ….or? As I said, in the current V60 guide I have been looking for exactly this question but unfortunately did not find an answer. For every info grateful next year is the order of a new potentially family-friendly company car, currently hot candidate is the V70 D3 with just OnCall + driving assistance package… mirv

    Hello moose experts, even if it gets serious with the XC60-FL I’m already strongly configuring a D5 at the. Especially since I can do without the upholstery + carrying bag mounting + Alu M console. Then it would be in total 1130€ for “Alu” + “Chrom”. And chrome is from my point of view only with dark paint “obligatory” In white it looks better without the chrome under the windows? Do I make a mistake of thinking on my bill or is that right?   • VOLVO XC 60 BJ 2010 luminosity loss at Xenon

    Hello everyone, have my XC 60 for three years and 100 T km. I always ride with glare light and mostly travel long distances. The intensity of the xenon seems to have decreased considerably, a color difference (on red or blue) is not visible. The lenses are only clear and become slightly milky when light is switched on. The protective glass shows slight traces as if it had burned something. Does anyone know the problem and is there any remedy? Thanks & Greetings Staner

    Hello and good day, we wanted to rent an XC70 (at europcar) and I’m not sure if it doesn’t have an integrated child seat increase on the back seat. If not, I have to book a child seat for my son (5 years) when ordering the car. Can you help me? Unfortunately, I don’t know which xc70 europcar offers (year of construction) and what its standard equipment is for child safety.
