  • Legroom XC60 vs V70

Moin Geimeinde, and still a healthy new one ! Have today an XC60 MY 16, D4 AWD , R design as a replacement car. Conclusion: nice weighing. The internal processing is so far tip-top although the cheap plastic on the ventilation looks less valuable than in my now 4 year old V70. The engine pulls confidently and sufficiently smooth from then. That is my D3 in total now clearly superior to driving dynamics. Driving fun is thus available. Suspension tuning is considerably more sporty and st As far as I’m concerned, I’m very satisfied. Now to my question: Can it be that the legroom in the driver’s seat is lower than the V70? I’ve pushed the seat completely backwards and have the feeling that my gas foot/leg is slightly more angled than I have otherwise set it in the V70. I’m not sure if I’m on a longer ride with this Positio Otherwise, the XC60 is worth considering if it is to become a new moose.

  • V60 retires

Hi, after my moose announced that he was no longer so fit for my driving profile, I decided quite spontaneously to let him retire as healthy as possible. So that he doesn’t catch anything else, he can even celebrate his vacation. I’m waiting for the new colleague’s attitude… Greetings Markus

  • Volvo XC60 – Autopanne – Timing belts

Hello Community, I stayed on the weekend with my Volvo XC60. The following seems to be the problem: The ADAC Master pulled a piece of plastic belt out of the timing belt box, which is not of the timing belt. According to his statement, the timing belt is still moving, but the engine no longer jumps. I had the last timing belt change carried out in May/June 2016 at a mileage of 355 TKM; current mileage is 375 TKM. Can tell me jmd. What kind of plastic part this is and why the engine may not start. Greetings Daniel

  • XC60 Diesel – Which engine

We are interested in an XC60 Diesel, Bauj. 2015-2016. Use profile: 2x20km daily for work and a lot of long distance with dog trailer. Topspeed doesn’t matter. Skin thing Automatic converters. Which engine is recommended? 163, 190, 220ps? I’m a little confused. I’ve only driven an “old” XC90 with the 200hp 5-cylinder. He’s already excited… Your opinion?

  • Ceramic Keramic brake pads in V60 CC MJ 2016 which type

Hello, with my “new” I would like to switch to Ceramic brake pads so that the rims do not pollute so. The car is 1 year old, the friendly does not want to do it, because allegedly because of warranty etc. he is not allowed to do it. Have looked around us want to have it done at the brake service e.g. tire-wagner. Do you have experiences and recommendations? What with unfortunately is absolutely unclear, which parts I need e.g. from ATE, there are two different types for VA and HA. a) Vorderach 1) Discs with 300 mm 2) Discs with 316 or 336 mm b) Rear axle 1) with electric parking brake (which I have) but then should be installed inside ventilated disks – but are made of solid material 2) Fixed disks. • New and some ask.

Hello together, since I can count myself since May this year also to the Volvo, I would like to say a short hello and also ask some questions which I could not find in the SuFu. My gold piece: Volvo S80 II Built. 2009 2.4 D5 Automat 136tkm My questions: it starts already with the automatic. Can you have the circuit diagram adjusted? I mean the automatic is too fast to switch off. If I want to switch off the engine and get off I always have to press the door opener 2 times there with the door opens, or I have to press the button of the central lock first to open the door at the first act of the door opener. Is this normal ? Can you change it? The car has BiXenon with cornering light. Lt BC you can adjust the times of the lighting but if I open the car with the FB or close nothing is possible. Can you set the “coming Home/ Leaving Home” function? Now at the cold season I notice that the heating is not exactly above Have others also made this experience or is something not as it should be with Menem Auto? is there the possibility to retrofit a hands-free device without large conversions? How can I see how long it is until the next service? Can you tell me how much your S80 consumes on average? So that should be enough to ask. Thank you very much in advance for your answers Fleets Greeting.

  • Problems Start-stop automatic with XC60 D4 with automatic transmission

Hello, a question to the community. I’m driving now about 4 months an XC60 D4 summum with automatic transmission. The start stop automatic works well until I have pulled a trailer. It is then automatically deactivated, which makes sense, but when no trailer is pulled anymore the engine does not stop, although the automatic is activated, LED lights up. Ignition Off and on again, does not bring any change. Only when I switch off the automatic, and it turns off at the next start on turn on again tomatically, because this is how it is set, it works again without any problems. Next week, I’ll ask for a tyre change.

  • [V60] T4 gear ratio Geartronic + last questions

Hello, the days have driven a V60 with T4 Geartronic Probe and I liked the car. Now I have a few smaller questions that you can answer me hopefully. 1) Translation I could unfortunately only drive in the city sample and more than 50 km/h unfortunately did not go. How is the V60 translated on the highway? So for example how high does it turn at 130 km/h in 6th gear 2) ACC That seems to be very rare on the used market. Found only 2-3 posts in the V60 forum and these were very rudimentary. Does anyone here feel any better? Currently I drive Passat with DSG and ACC and have this as a comparison. Greetings and thanks

  • Volvo V70 T5 with 2.0 Ltr and 240 hp

Dear Motortalker, I have a question or need advice regarding the choice of the right engine. I have been driving Volvo V 70 for 12 years now, both with the 2.5 Turbo, my current with the 210 HP machine. I drove the first one without any problems 330.000 km, my current one has now already 276,000 km on the clock without a single extra-scheduled workshop visit, unfortunately I had a serious accident a few days ago, so that I now have to look for a successor. I wanted to get the successor (i.e. the T5 with the 2.0 ltr machine and 240 HP), but my Volvo dealer advised me not to compare the engine with my 2.5 ltr 5 cylinder, even if it has at least 30 HP more on paper. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a T5 there with which I could do a test drive, so I turn to you: someone who has this engine and what experiences has he had with it (ideally with the DSG Powershift transmission) Has anyone ever made the comparison between the T5 (i.e. the petrol) and the D5 (the diesel with 215 hp)? I have a further question about the sports suspension: does someone have experiences here about the sports suspension offered by Volvo (not the Four C, that I have in my today, that is unfortunately the very last …) Would I be happy if you could help me. I would also be for H Thank you very much, where you can find current test reports of the T5.

  • Fuel consumption XC60 T5

Hello to the round, since Dec. 2017 I am also proud owner of an XC60 T5. A great car which is a lot of fun, but now comes the ….ABER… I have about 1500 km down and the fuel consumption is about 10.7l/100km on average. Now I know that new cars get a higher consumption programmed. What experiences do you have (XC60 T5 drivers) Many greetings Klaus
