no more power
Hello together, short question could the turbocharger be defective? Vehicle accelerates quite badly but the engine runs tip top calmly, it does not give any error or warning message in the amature display. Automaton also switches top but somehow does not start speeding up. I noticed that the vehicle just slowed down when driving comfortably with cruise control because it went slightly uphill, it only accelerated again when switching down but also not very much. I’ve had this before and had some other symptoms. Let’s see if it’s still with a cold engine tomorrow. D5244T4 Merci and beautiful Gruss Slipenir

Change to the V70 3 D3 – Questions about the (already done) change
So, today it was time: the V70 II D5 delivered as commission sales, and picked up the V70 III D3. First impression: great … but now begins “introduction”: get overview, understand things, set actions. I allow myself to start a separate thread, and hope this fits the habits here in the forum. * Navi: shows on SW-Version 09F5, map version V 30.13.02 / can I update it myself? This megadownload of 22 GB I wanted to start before last Woc he, unfortunately this exe on my PC has done exactly nothing (only what was written from preparation and then disappeared, without activity) * the car shows me immediately “register for service”. Was to be expected. The private seller did not do the upcoming service any more, I did not negotiate it, ergo it is not there. Or the workshop did not reset this warning at the just done ZR-Tausch? I have to ask again. Should I have to commission it myself: what stands there, with currently 167tsd km on it? And now I sit in and drive for the first time “for fun” where with it π Probably soon the next questions will come to you π

New start – stop battery at V60 2011 original or alternative?
Hello together, I have my v60 for 2 years. He is now 7 years old and still has the first battery in it. However, she will soon give up her mind, have often display “low battery charge” and the Start Stop function works almost never, which however does not bother me. I asked the friendly because of battery and the original is at 257 Euro!! A little violent. I looked around and for example the silverhttps://www.idealo.de/…/…ilver-dynamic-agm-1 2v-95ah-g14-varta.html varta. What do you think about it? What do you have installed and what does it fit? My data : V60 2.4 D5 circuit In my battery compartment is even more space than for the battery that is now installed. I know that the height is important for it to fit in. Would be happy about your opinion and tips.

Starting on very steep mountain with V60 automatic. Tip?
Hello, have a V60 D3 automatic Bj17. Are on vacation in a holiday house which is located on a very steep slope (>20%). The slope is graveled and comes up well. Problem is that the entrance to our house is secured with remote controlled roller gate. So start up slope, open gate and until I am up, the gate is half open. Unfortunately too slow so and further away the remote control does not reach. So has to wait short and then at 90 degrees angle again a small steep hill l high. Starting up is exciting every time, because I don’t get the power properly dosed and spin the VR on the gravel. Is coming from the lowlands, so with something so overwhelmed. Is there a trick, how I can make the more elegant, that I don’t slip in there every time with spinning tires? Thanks for tips!

Substantial lowering
HallΓ₯. I want to lay my V60 a few millimeters lower, but especially on the front axle reduce the distance between wheelhouse and wheel. Do you have experience and/or solutions beyond the 30/30 lowering offered in the trade? Greeting

100,000 km, V60 D4 VEA
Hello @All so, it’s done. 100,000 km has my V60 D4, 181 hp, now rewinded To make it short with the heat, except 2 x AGR, at 70 and 75 tkm, there were no problems. Only now on vacation, at about 95 tkm, he didn’t want to start properly. Quickly started, but he didn’t want to. No idea what was going on. After a few attempts he then jumped on, then ran on 3 pots and then round again. Since it didn’t repeat itself big, I should not care at first. Consumption is about 6,7 ltr./100 km, with Wowa, see fast BAB tours and rides. I find it very ok. Otherwise there is not much to report. About the V60 you can find everything already here in the forum and the Pro / Contra have been discussed sufficiently. Greetings from the Lower Rhine.

XC60 Diesel does not start – speed sensor?
Hello forum community, I just have an XC60 standing with me which does not start and brings me to the edge of despair. First of all to the vehicle: XC60, MJ 2009, D5244T5, automatic, AWD, 260tkm The box has not jumped from one day to the next (starter turns) – in the error memory was only an older error from the speed sensor inside “erretic signal”. I have already done the following things: Battery – top in order speed sensor – by new exchange t Common Rail pressure control valve – exchanged Common Rail pressure sensor – exchanged return quantities all injectors: fits, all little and as good as identical I get the box with good accolade (brake cleaner π ) to start – if I then immediately go to the accelerator pedal – and stay on it – the engine also stays on. Engine sounds normal, pressure in the rail fits to the target value (according to VIDA) – no errors in the memory. In itself everything top – but as soon as the speed falls below approx. 1400 rpm, the Mo I have no idea about Volvos – Diesel is not my construction site… I’m afraid I’m looking at something banal. All (to start) irrelevant things like LMM, diesel temperature, AGR,… I’ve already pulled off test time – unfortunately no change. The starter is nudeling – but the car is starting again immediately – not a chance to keep him alive. He just makes a mistake after 3-4 attempts at starting the speed sensor (which I have already replaced …) and does not want to do anything else. I have a guess, which I can’t explain: on the pictures you can see the speed course when I have got the box violently until it runs out again. As you can see, the engine runs as long as I hold it at speed with the accelerator pedal – until I let it fall under a magical limit again – there will be the speed ignal short completely straight (no measured value more there???) and directly on it he dies. Therefore, I suspect that the speed sensor/the ECM for some reason gets no (sensible) signal anymore at lower speeds and shuts down the injection. It is also less a dying of the engine, more a hard switch off. Does anyone have any idea what else it could be, or could my guess be explained by anything??? Greetings Richard

Needed Help
Hello, my name is Michi. I come from the S-Class group and drive a S450. Now I’m looking for a “new” vehicle for my wife and could narrow down the search a little bit. Basically it’s about reliability! But should also have comfort and performance. As far as the Volvo S80 is concerned, we vary between 2 models: 1. S80 4.4 AWD Executive from 09/2006 with 115,000 km, very nice equipment and should no longer be affected by the initial problems of this engine. 2. S80 T6 AWD Executive from 01/08 with 139,000 km, full option, so really EVERYTHING about extras. I would like to hear your opinion about the 4.4, I ask you for very specific information about the T6. 1. I have read about the T6 of transmission problems. These seem to “only” concern the 4 gear automatic. The one found by us Geartronic. Is this also affected? 2. How is it ordered about the durability of the engine? Especially with regard to the [or DEN?] Turbo. Thank you for Your support… Greetings Michi

Used purchase with 115T Km, XC70 Built. 2014 D4
Hello together, 2 years ago have bought an XC70 D4 AWD Automatik Bj. 2015 with 115T Km from first owner (is driven per year almost 60T Km). Everything was fine, only sometimes the gearbox blows out when changing from D to R or R to D – sometimes but also very delicate – no matter whether I change slowly or quickly. Can’t recognize a dependency on long service life or recently driven for a long time, according to friendly (but I don’t trust) is also the latest software on it. N and my suspicion is that the predecessor took it quite a bit (but I didn’t hear anything else that makes me suspect it) or often pulled it under a lot of weight (I attached two pictures of the AHK – can you deduce that from it?). Anyway: can you do something there? Does the coupling mean to exchange something big? Thank you in advance!
