Hello professionals, because my Volvo V70 EZ 1997, 2.5L gasoline, 144PS, 365TMM unfortunately has a damage to the steering gear, I just look around for a new V70. This time it is supposed to be a diesel. Driving performance about 30,000km/year (the current V70 gasoline I had taken very cheaply from my parents and 200TMM with it – before questions come why petrolers 😉 I lost myself in the D3 with 136PS (from 5/2012) because the CO2 values is very good and I don’t need more PS actually. I drove the D2 with 114PS and found it a bit too weak. The predecessor with 136PS (2.0D) is apparently more expensive in the maintenance – I read here in the forum. Budget is up to 20,000€ – rather natural less. Did this here at the Volvo dealer discovered:http://…oechst.selekt.volvocars.de/…/D3 Edition-Pro-p5bm53w Is it a bit too risky a car with 106,000km to buy at the price less? But there is not enough for me to have the same level?

DPF burns free?
Moin On the other hand, I need some advice from my favorite forum. Yesterday again (after about 6 weeks of short-distance operation) I was on the highway. So at approx. 160 km/h I had about three times in a row a dropout, I could not give a gas for a second, then everything was good again. Engine was running perfectly, even the feeling that it was running minimally free. Then right at home the i Carsoft 906 made, everything ok. no mistakes. Did then take today the device again to check everything exactly. I just don’t get some messages, Sufu and Google don’t help either. For example: whirl actuator, position 43,83% whirl actuator PWM 1,16 % Commanded exhaust gas recirculation 100% AGR sensor 0% fuel pressure nominal value 327900 fuel distribution pressure 331800 AGR 100% AGR error 99,2% and quite great engine oil temp -273,14 degree C will now be able to download an update for the icarsoft, the engine oil temperature makes me agreeable. Achcho, my car is not free.

Steering wheel’s crooked.
Hello guys, maybe someone already had that. I had my V70 to change wheels and in the front left the track bar was changed, the track was allegedly also set. Now I drove about: 20km and found that the steering wheel is leaning to the left, if you align it centrally, the car drives to the right. Was again with the friendly and he wants to look again after it, but also did not see a track adjustment protocol. At the V70 II you could also adjust the steering wheel, does not go with mine, did you already make an honor with it? Maybe you have a advice, not to be quite stupid about it. Thank you

Volvo for Life. A journey through sound
Of course, I’ve been with the XC60 (the second one already) for a long time, and I’ve always been with a very decent music system, but I’ve never presented the system here. As with the Ford S-Max times (link in the signature), I’m an enthusiastic CarAudian and CarPC user. Of course, the XC60 also had to do that. About meere upgrade stages, experiments and experiments a system has been created, which goes very unusual ways, but sounds exceptionally good, which also bears witness to various awards or good placements in German CarHifi competitions. The core of the system is a Forge Audio DSP, an 8-channel processor with outstanding acoustic properties and unique configuration options such as up to 64 parametric equalizers per channel. As a player, a CarPC can be found on a 10-base, which is conducted via a 10-inch touchscreen. The CarPC is connected directly with the processor via XMOS USB audio. The HiTON has reached the level of 4 tuning.

The moose shakes V70 d5
But from the beginning: vehicle is a V70d5 6GangGT Md.2009. Km 273,500 I have already spent a few kilometers with the elk and everything ran up to small problems that I could solve thanks to the forum and of course the know how of the members. Only the PDC sensor is still overdue, sure a DHL strike victim. After about 1800km with the caravan (1700Kg) that happened yesterday and again this shaking occurred as if you were driving over a washboard. Dangers speed approx. 80Km/h, different road coverings. The shaking runs through the whole car, is short in the steering and is also to be seen and stops again. Altogether so about 10 seconds. Thanks to easy steering movements it can be interrupted. Altogether about 7-8 times. Today the same route ran again without caravan, everything is quiet as always, no vibrations, nothing. Also on the caravan everything, wheel storage and brakes are pulled off. Oh yes the trailer had to be on top of it.

Help with the used car purchase Volvo XC60
Hello dear community, I’m very interested in a Volvo XC60 from 2012 with D3 Motor (163 PS). So far everything sounds great, what the (private) salesman advertised and personally sent me, and I wanted to make a trip (>4h) at the weekend to visit the car. If so, I would buy it directly. Now, however, a few things seem strange: 1. In May 2022 the timing belt was changed at Volvo at 155,000 km – by the previous owner. Cooling water level was also checked. On the bill there is still a finding: ,,,Kühler undicht. KVA attached. Starting flap noises underpressure pump ” However, these works were apparently never done there and this KVA was also not sent to me. 2. After that was also made in the autumn of the same year, a cooling tank, with re-examined, since at the rear the error message has to be bought. No word of the cylinder.

V60 engine gets hot, heating gets cold
Hello, thank you so much for your help in advance! I drive a V60 – 2016 model, Bifuel with the B4204T11 engine. A few weeks ago I noticed that the heating on the highway is not getting really warm anymore, with longer distances and approx. 3000 rpm even completely fail. In the very low Drezhal area it becomes warm again. In addition, that the engine under full load became hot, coolant is boiled out and I was towed to the friendly. This could not find anything, thermostat could be controlled normally and also errors were apparently no stored, even during a test drive it was not too hot. The heating problem was also not recognized. When I picked up the car and tested on the highway it was immediately hot again, so again to the friendly…. Now, in another test drive the engine was probably flat if the engine was too hot. Now they want to replace the engine, because they suspect a crack in the engine block. I can’t quite do that yet why the heating did not heat. CO could not be proven in the coolant either. What do you think?

RTI-Navi in Volvo S80 Last Update 2016 ?!
After a long, patient search from Flensburg to the south of Germany, I found myself in 2018: A top-kept Volvo S80 V8 AWD, Summum, Geartronic, Bj.: 2006 with a real 103,000 km I was able to take over from a Volvo dealer in Crailsheim. Truly no saving box – but for that much joy on the cultivated wolf in sheep’s fur. All spare parts can be obtained if necessary still at moderate prices from my Volvo dealer. Only with the navigation system RTI it becomes increasingly tight: the ultimate last software update was given according to Volvo 2016 as DVD. This is currently installed – but of course now already outdated. My question to the community: Who has already dealt with this problem and can possibly help further? Thank you in advance for feedback and my best wishes for the upcoming change of the year from the Sweden-Express from Bremen

Thule Dynamic Dachbox M or L?
Hello I’m looking for a roof box and I chose the Thule Dynamic because of the quality, appearance and aerodynamics. The L should hold 430 L and be 235 cm long and the M 320 Litre with 205 cm. I would be interested if the L is not too large based on pictures and experiences. On the picture here it should be an L. I personally find it is already very far above. What do you think? How are your experiences?http://www2.pic-upload.de/thumb/31621147_1.jpg
