Volvo-Pro makes sense for priate customers without leasing (cash payment)?
Hello, is a Volvo Pro contract with maintenance/wear/repertures for an XC60 MJ 2012 useful? Running power: 13,000 km / year Running time: 5 years Costs of 1000€/year and ultimately around 500€ for the 5 years come together. Normally it would be 5 inspections a 400€ [2000€] and 1000€ for the nromal Pro connection guarantee – thus maximum 3000€. Can the Pro contract be terminated prematurely (so let’s say after one or two years) without financial disadvantages if you sold the vehicle and bought a new Volvo again? How are the experiences of the long-standing Volvo drivers – or would the normal Volvo connection guarantee (limited to assemblies) be more useful?

Consumption S60 D3
Hello Together, for a month I have been the owner of a Volvo S60 D3 Momentum. It is a leasing back runner, BJ October 2010 almost 30000km on the clock. So far I am really totally satisfied…the best car I have had so far. Processing, operation, driving comfort……just everything first cream. Only when I was filling up for the first time today my joy was a bit clouded. Consumption according to on-board computer at almost 700 km 6.5l/100km, as far as I thought so well. However, it is calculated 7.5l/100km!!! I am aware that this engine never reaches the consumption values from the data sheet, but with such a consumption I definitely did not expect. Just because I drive almost exclusively land road with Tempomat at 90-100km/h. As I do speed up and then turn it up and let it roll. I don’t even want to imagine how much of the swallows if I give him the spores properly. How do you see your consumption values (calculated and on-board computer). Bzw. How and when do you switch? Should I call to the consumer when consumption remains so high with Alex’s greeting profile.

Volvo V70 which D4 engine?
Hello everyone, Would like to buy me a young V70 with diesel, km up to max 50,000. In my price region there are some V70 on the one hand with 163ps with 6-speed automatic, on the other hand with the nine D4 with 181ps with 8speed automatic. The new four-cylinder with automatic should be “superior” according to all the reports I have seen so far. What combination do you recommend or have experience. Black Edition equipment variant is offered more often. This is based on Kinetic. Does anyone have experience with this equipment? Look after full cabin. Thanks in advance!

Profile depth at the front/back
Hello municipality, wanted to hear your opinion: “The tires with the most profile should always be in the back (to reduce the risk of breaking out).” This is what the user manual says, but it is also to be read elsewhere. I think, however, that I have more of it, if I have the tyres with more profile depth on the front: – Aquaplaning occurs in the front, the better profile depth is very helpful – Especially in winter when braking on snow, tyres with more profile are noticeably better – Likewise when I’m cornering, with lower profile depth and with snow, especially with wet snow, a larger profile depth is more sinifiably better – why is the car in my life never broken out (except when I deliberately put it on it) at the rear, thank ESP nowadays either way or no such big topic any more. And I can’t believe that a larger profile depth should offer so much better side guidance later on? (I don’t talk about worn-out tyres!) And if I now consider that I have more profile in front of day situations, especially in winter.

Volvo V70 edrive Warning
One should not buy this car at all, if one has the intention to be environmentally friendly and cost-friendly. it is a consumption of 4.6 l/100 km in average sugeriert. With a start stop automatic, which switches off the engine in the cold condition and immediately starts up again. How long does the starter last. Special tires, an extremely economical, small engine. With what great expectation we bought this car. Previously we had a V70 with D5 engine and this was to be driven with just under 6.5 liter/100 km. Now, with the same driving mode : 10%City, 40% Überland, 50% Autobahn (Ö) just over 6.5 liter/100 km This is more than 40% above the declared value. We drive > 30000 km/year, i.e. means about 1000 Euro more fuel costs / year. For me the fraud is. If you would like to know if someone else is going the same way with this car, would like to seek a collective lawsuit against Volvo.

Experiences XC60 DRIVe
Hey, get my first VOLVO in 2 weeks – an XC60 DRIVEe summum (handshift) in saphirblack? – wait already quite eagerly and look forward to a hopefully fault-free car (after a not so great passat). I have so far only driven an XC60 D5 GT (185 hp) but have relied on the information in the brochure, which shows the DRIVe the same driving performance (0 – 100 in 9.8 instead of 9.9 sec). Besides, the DRIVe has a torque of 20 Nm higher than the old D5, so should be subkejtiv also at least equally fast on the road. But what are your experiences (there are already some DRIVe drivers here)? I now have a 140 hp passat variant (because the Volvo would have to be able to keep up well, especially the engine specifications are better). But lastly it’s not about the acceleration (there is no raser here) but also about driving comfort. The passat is loud and has an extreme driving weakness (there is no problem with the Ampel, the car is not too big!) And I like the car ring.

Switch off the passenger seat safety warning
Similar to what was discussed in the thread “RTI safety note off”, the patronage of Volvo is something to me on the cookie. Problem: If you have an object lying on the passenger seat, which is heavier than about 1.5 kg and there is no belt plugged in, then, as soon as you go off, you will be inaudiblely reminded to put on the belt. Safety back or forth, but as a 90% driver I do not need a hint that reminds me to strap the milk bag/cuff pocket on the passenger seat… And if you then put something off in the rear, you have to push away the message in the display that no belt was put on in the rear. Aha. According to this, it is “officially” not possible to deactivate this externally superfluous “safety device”. Does it also bother you that you can not even take the small purchase in the car without “Yes, I’m sure”, “Ok, that’s already right” and “Yes, I’m legal” somewhere to confirm that there is really no solution?

Volvo XC70 (BJ2008) doesn’t like iPhone 3G (Bluetooth) anymore? Why?
Hello dear community, I hope to get a little help here for my problem. For a few days now my Volvo Bluetooth hands-free system (directly from Volvo) doesn’t want to work with my iPhone 3G anymore. The whole thing has worked more or less smoothly since 1 year. Last time I went on a longer journey everything went, suddenly it couldn’t connect to the iPhone any more. Now I tried to do that again. First of all he didn’t find anything in the search for the device at all. Then when I was in the Bluetooth menu of the iPhone (should apparently help), I could connect, well, at least half. I had to enter the pin on the car then, and then he tried to connect it. On the iphone then I could find in the device list “My Car” as well as connected. On the center console of the Volvo stands “no connection”, although it indicates above so dashes about the reception. But there is no way to make a phone call again etc. I have tried this all the time, but so far I couldn’t find a solution, why it is not possible to make it work again.
