Hello, my Volvo V60 diesel D3, gear shift needed a new ZMS in the south of France for the moment (I had reported this here in the forum). In order to replace the mass-swing wheel first the gear shift had to be expanded. end august I got back my car fully functional from the free workshop, then drove up to 31.12.2020 (km-level 60.632) without any problems 4.293 km. then out of the nothing without any previous signs: gear shift total damage due to overheating due to far too low gear oil in the system (0.045 l were caught when opening the broken gear). and the accuracy was excluded from Volvo’s contract workshop in augsburg. the gear shift was externally dry, clean, without traces of oil. since the repair in the august I did not visit a workshop, no problems were noticed then no heavy load (no trailer or caravan, no roadway… at Volvo was confirmed to me that there had been no accident caused by the noise, there was no troubleshooting or troubleshooting.

Presentation and problems with window lifter/ZV and power steering V70

It is about the following 2 problems: 1. the power steering has been quite difficult for some time in the stand, as soon as I give the speed of the engine a little higher (gas) everything is problemless, as well as during the ride. In the forum for the V70II I have read that there were problems with the steering gear and there has become a Simmerring or similar leaking and the hydraulics thus lost pressure. Andersherum I have read that only the servo pump had to be set / corrected. Do you know this problem with your Volvo?? How do you appreciate that one? I have opened a meeting in the driver then to the right, but I would like to have a few informations in advance so that I can “talk” to the 2nd I wanted to open the car by the way of the car, but that the ride has not been able to get high, but the lift? I have struggled with myself for a long time, but finally I decided to look around for something new. Unfortunately, I miss the cargo space of the former gulf too often. Just when it comes to transporting architectural models or after a purchase at the Bösner/Obi/usw., I wish I had the station wagon back. Therefore, I have now advertised my S60 – and the price deliberately set a little high. Basically, I place myself in the upper midfield on the Austrian price scale for S60. Would you like to know from you whether you have anything in mind or noticed, what I have forgotten or what you would do differently with the advertisement. For constructive suggestions for improvement I am open. Autouncle has rated the car with ‘good price’, which is probably due to the equipment and the condition of care and the 12-fold maturation. Experience with Polestar 215 PS D5 Optimization (MT)
Hello, I’m looking for experiences for the above optimization. Most reports I can find refer to the 205hp D5. I found one here, even with diagrams. After that it was partly worse than before and only occasionally better… I’m particularly interested in the range between 2000 and 3000 tours as well as the consumption. 🙂 Can someone help me? Volvo S60 II/V60 T4
Hi, I would like to introduce myself briefly: My name is Daniel and I come from Thuringia. At the moment I drive a BMW 320d EDE E91 Touring from 2012. I am actually very satisfied with this, but with the successor F30/31 I don’t get very warm. That’s why I’ve been looking for Volvo for some time, especially for the V60. Since I tend to become a petrol engine again due to reduced annual driving power and the current diesel discussion, the T4 with 190 hp and the two-liter four-cylinder turbo would be a reasonable variant. Unfortunately, I don’t find any – neither as a demonstration car is what available, nor even tests with this engine. Does anyone have any experience with this engine? A T4-powered or annual car under 30,000 € can’t be found at all. How are the conditions at the Volvo dealer’s moment for a new or demonstration car, even taking into account the steering system that the S60/V60 will run out next year? My configuration would look like this: V60 T4 Business Line Switch Mussle-Blue Metall Lightpacket so easy for an Aluluminum.

Purchase advice for young used XC70
Hello, since from our 2-person household soon a three-person family will come to me looking for a suitable family car among other things on the Volvo XC70. In principle it meets all the requirements I put to the future car: * Lots of space and large trunk * All-wheel available * good floor row * automatic available * many more (comfort) extras available such as e.g. distance tempomat, leather equipment, seat heating, etc. It is a meanwhile expired model, but since I found Volvo always sympatic, generally considered as robust and reliable and the XC70 would have relatively good prices and I would like to live with this fact I think quite well with this fact In particular I am interested in the XC70 D4 AWD with 2.4 L and 181 PS as a young used with relatively few kilometers on it? (up to max. about the 30,000) from the last two years of construction (2015/2016). Of this there are still a few copies with very good equipment on the market at prices between about 30 and 35.000 €, which is also within the scope of my purchase.

V70/XC70 3.2 – Tips and advice for BMW drivers desired…
Hello people, I am looking forward to a bmw e39 525i with autogas. is in principle a great car, which I will also drive for 1 or 2 years… but not without problem zones: vulnerable tailgate, rusting tailgate, level regulation spins around…so I would not buy the successor e61. because the nevertheless has similar and too many potential faults/construction sites: rusting tailgate, cable break at the tailgate, panorama roof leaks or blocked drains -> water penetrates a, vulnerable drive, steering gears often defective, electronic problems… unbeautiful interior… my claim to a car: a stylish, practical combi, with which one can fly, a racing car does not have to be a (over 200 I never drive) so I am interested in the V70 or XC70 and your experiences. since I want to know a benziner, which would be easy to ask for the trouble.

Where is the right electric strategy from Volvo
It’s a pity. I’m a cross-generation Volvo driver. But their electric strategy doesn’t fit either with me or with the brand. Where BMW, Renault, Toyota and even VW, almost all manufacturers deal with it intensively and bring solutions and Tesla has been setting the direction for almost a decade, is Volvo still quite far behind in terms of electric drive. Quite apart from car sharing. Currently I can only buy hybrid vehicles and they are all highly motorized and then come up with a CO2 emission of 170-180g. This corresponds to about a V70 diesel from 2004??? A 250hp combustion engine with 50p electric motor is anything but Sexy and a strategy for the electric future. I very much hope that at least the new V40 will be the first purely electric Volvo, but has already become a BMW i3 with me.

Conclusion on my V60 PiH
The reason for this post is yesterday’s breakdown with my V60 PiH. Hybrid system defective – the car has to be removed, towing is not possible. 4 times the climate compressor had to be changed – twice hybrid system defective with subsequent effort…. 1 times starter battery defective without any warning – the vehicle was simply not to start. The vehicle a V60 PiH vintage 2014 Km-Stand slightly over 100,000. A not really good conclusion over all the years…. Whether the new E-Volvo are better – I have my doubts…

Electronic tailgate closes – and opens again…
Good day, I cleaned up my V70 yesterday and today, and the tailgate was open for a long time. When it closes by button, it closes and opens again. There is definitely nothing in the trunk, and also everything so pikobello clean, that nowhere can clamp anything. So: tailgate open. press button in the tailgate. Shuts shut. Lock shuts. Opens again. Shuts again. Shuts up again. So like if something is in the way. but is not. Is there a secret tip? Long press any button sets the system to zero? Or so? *hopeful* Sun
