Hello I have a problem with my adaptive cruise control, which actually works very well, but as soon as the temperatures rise the system fails with the message Radar disturbed see manual. The housing of the radar in the radiator grille I cleaned there is nothing on it that could disturb. The system then drops out incl. tempomat from temperatures of 23 degrees constantly, which is very annoying.Has anyone ever had such a problem? The friendly could not help me any further until now.

Switch to petrol?
Moin dear Volvo experts, I have been driving a V60 D4 GT with 181 hp since 2016. The diesel engine has not paid off yet, but since I’m retired, I’m driving even less, then it will probably be less than 10000 km per year with a higher short distance share. I’m also afraid that the diesel will eventually be replaced by the AGR/cooler again. However, since I like to drive the V60 and I can’t really make friends with the successor model, I’m thinking about a petrol engine V60 T2/T3/T4 from the years 2015 – 2018 of course also with automatic. Therefore, the question to the drivers of such vehicles, how are you satisfied with it? What should you pay attention to when buying these vehicles? I’m still looking forward to your answers and opinion and thank you!

When new base gasoline for the V70 III?
When are new base gasoline engines for the V70 (III) coming? It’s nice that the V70 can now be ordered, but many people probably do not use the turbos and 6/8 cylinders for this traditional family combination and are still waiting for solid entry-level variants. With the vehicle weight a 170/180 hp variant would probably be due. Is it already known when there will be further variants? Ford is thanks? I like the new Volvos quite well up to now except for the outdated engine technology. the automatic transmission, the fuel consumption … (oh, what am I talking about here, the things are mainly produced for the North American market, or am I crazy?) … lower or start/stop – automatics, brake energy storage, etc. I dream again in my bed, good night for now! Gruss D.F. Too bad, nice car actually …

Article on the new V70 in welt.de
Here eats not much in it, much blabla, in addition the usual “…. he even gives off sporty undertones. Thus ….. even quite fun comes up.” (as if you would need this for driving fun now absolutely) and you celebrate things like electromechanoscvhe parking brake or electric rear flap as an advantage. The ground tenor is positive whereby this was probably more a visit in the stand. More advertising contribution as information Rapace

New V70III arrived with me today 🙂
Hello Moose Driver So, after a long radio silence on my part (Knapp 5 Jahre S60) our new V70 2.5T, black, Kinetic with Bixenon, Four-C and automatic transmission arrived today. As chance I had to do a longer business ride today and I inaugurated the new V70 right away! What a car to say… What a car! I’m totally thrilled, it’s worlds of my previous S60! suspension, steering, acoustics, automatic: everything of the finest! The interior is really very well maintained and well processed, the sound system improves significantly! I am definitely looking forward to being like a small child and can’t wait to get back into the car tomorrow. I am disappointed that I only have to drive 150 km In any case, the first impression is excellent, I have already “in love” with the vehicle What more do you want?! All the love of your greyhound alias Armand

New V70 D5 – super car (but high consumption)
Hello, Last week our new V70 III was delivered. here I am very pleased with the car. EInziger negative point would be the consumption: 9.2 l/100 km with restrained driving mode. With my predecessor car (BMW 320d – 150hp) the consumption with the same track profile and the same driving mode was on average between 6.0 and 6.3 l/100km. Ok, the V70 has 35hp more power and weighs about 300 kg more (i.e. around 20% more than the BMW) and with the same engine efficiency one would then a In this case, the consumption is about 45-50% higher than the consumption usual of the 320d. What is the reason? Greetings, Pascal

Volvo XC60 with Dynaudio: Sound cracks and roars suddenly on all speakers
Hello forum, yesterday I pressed FM in CD operation. Then I chose a stored transmitter (1). And from then on the sound was as if you were with a Fiat Panda in the valley between two mountains. Just rushing, no depths, no highs. Station search did not change anything. So I thought of a defect of the antenna. When I then switched to CD, the sound was identically catastrophic. Also when choosing USB (iphone): rush, crack, on all loudspeakers. Where should di I have Dynaudio. So in the trunk is the subwoofer and under the passenger seat is also something that probably belongs to it? At least the part under the passenger seat is always very warm with longer rides with music operation… I am grateful for every tip!

XC60 BJ 2009 AGR valve defective fault, power loss
Had problems with the AGR valve a year ago. The old Swede suddenly had a strong power loss on the highway and allowed almost no acceleration. The next day everything was normal again, only when the engine was warm and for a longer time again was demanded like e.g. highway or free country road, again the problem. This game repeated several times. Error reading -> AGR valve. I make it short, it became expensive, actually too expensive for an old Sweden But I had it done anyway. AGR valve and AGR cooler had to be exchanged, plus the vertebra valve…a nice four-digit amount was then on the bill.

What do you think about the Volvo price/performance and does it need a transmission flushing?
This offer I found at AutoScout24.https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…9e6c-678c-447e-9aa5-cf74e9b52d70?… Price: € 6.800,- Kilometer level: 160.000 km First registration: 07/2008 I have seen all documents/invoices about the replacement of the timing belt incl. water pump. Gaveless check booklet, always with the same Volvo dealer! TÜV 03/27 From retired hands. Has a few blessurs. Trusted contact, private! G Is there still something to consider with the offer? The car has been driven the last years approx. 5000km per year. Is there a transmission flush necessary? I drive under 10000km per year track profile mixed. Fuel consumption of 10-12 liters is and is aware. We travel and do not race. Just want to be able to overtake once on the country road. We already had a V70 5cylinder with 140 ps. The car was very comfortable but a bit sluggish. Is the car then something for us. Equipment is good for us. Dan ke forciere Reply. Greeting Erbsi
