Hello I have a problem with the keyless system when opening the doors, especially the driver’s door.If you drive with your hand into the door handle, the lock should open, but only rarely works.Everything with a cleaning cloth cleans up only partially. At the front door try it doesn’t always work. With the back doors it always works. The lock works with the button on the doors always. In the Volvo workshop they didn’t know exactly what was missing. They had read out with the OBD once and the system reset. Then it worked one day, then everything was the same again. Can this come from the scatter salt or the cold themperature. Would be grateful for any help. mfg

I still have a reflection period, voucher runs until the end of January 2012. Who already has practical experience with this upgrade? Happy holidays!

Leasing withdrawal with winter tires ?
Hello, I’ve had a very funny problem here, maybe someone has experience with it. The prehistory: In December 2007 I leased a V70 III to a local Volvo dealer for four years, a mileage leasing with 35,000 per year. In the binding order it has been noted that the vehicle is delivered with winter tyres. So I also received it. I bought the summer tyres incl. Felge from a friendly tyre dealer and the tires run down in four summers to the unusability. Currently, the vehicle is again on the original delivered winter tyre set, which according to tyre dealers can still be driven loosely two winters. Now to the problem: the local dealer is meanwhile insolvent and the leasing contract is traded by the Volvo branch Hanover, which will also handle the return of the vehicle. The precheck of the vehicle resulted in some shortcomings, over whose compensation has meanwhile also come to an agreement. But the statement of the branch, the vehicle must be returned by me with summer tyres, since the car returns to the factory.

XC60 MY12 Touring(Comfort) suspension + Four-C = Optimum?
What’s more, I’m talking about the XC60 and I’m in the new price list about the Touring chassis. After some searching on the net, I found the following article:the-new-volvo-v60 “… The new Volvo sports combi is available with two different chassis variants: For the European market is the dynamic chassis standard. For other markets the comfort chassis is offered as standard, and the dynamic chassis is available there as option. The difference refers to different dampers as well as the front and rear additional frames – the comfort version is slightly softer tuned and thus also allows for poor roadways a pleasant ride. … As a supplement to the two chassis variants, all Volvo V60 models can be equipped with the optional Four C (continuously Controlled chassis concept) sports suspension, which has been modified and refined compared to previous Volvo models and thus offers even more control and comfort…” In particular, from the combination option with the Four-C (which the new XC60 PL also does not include the softness) and the statement of comfort, should be made by the use of the rear gear.

How does the electric parking brake work?
Hello guys, excited Due to the handbrake problem of the V70II drivers (and S60, S80, XC90) I would have liked to know how exactly the parking brake works with the newer Volvos. Sure, electric with engine – but how exactly ?? Does anyone have drawings etc?? Is it also designed as a drum brake via separate brake cheeks? Or are the pads of the normal service brake used with ? Has anyone ever used the electric HB during the (slow) ride ?? Since Volvo switched to VIDA, everything is Scheixxe Greetings, Eric

XC60 MY10 List of delivery times
Hello, I expect to be able to collect many concrete statements at the present time; too contradictory are the statements here in the forum and also on the part of those regarding opening / closing of the ordering system. Nevertheless the question: Who has ordered when and what delivery date received? Maybe a list similar to this one results here I also start immediately: user => vehicle => order date => delivery date indicated when ordering => possibly corrected order date manatee => XC60 D5 summum with panoramic roof => 3.4.09 => “not available” vg – der manatee

Failure of the display for infotainment
Hello, a few days ago the display in my S60 II was completely off, including all setting options. However, my VOLVO workshop didn’t display it in the error memory. Also the attempt to play a new software (for 80.- €) failed. Question to the experts: Is it possible that this failure is actually not stored in the error memory? Greeting, Gunther
