Hello, could a proud owner of an XC60 D4 FWD and/or a V60 D4 FWD (model year 2014 with 181hp) write to me, which is a realistic consumption value for these vehicles. The consumptions listed in the documents would be far too nice to be reasonably true. Usually here is always a bit measured by reality (without light, without climate, without radio, light running tires,…)… Thank you already in advance! Greetings Mirko

V70 Drive – Turbo broken
Hello, I have a V70 drive since 02/2010. In April 2011 (23,000 km) suddenly a whistle was heard while taking the gas, apparently turbo broken, turbo changed on warranty and whistles was gone. Now (35,000 km) occasionally the same whistle appears again. Last Friday the car was therefore in the workshop, today came a call from the dealer. After consultation with Volvo the diagnosis is to change turbo again, should be done in 2 weeks. Does anyone know the problem or shows up more often (according to my dealer they have never had this before, neither with the V70 nor with the other models) ? From February the guarantee is over, I then have no desire to have the turbo replaced at 6-month intervals. How would you approach the topic, has someone from Kulanz already received a warranty extension to a certain part? Thanks in advance for all the answers.

Purchase advice : S80 3.2 AWD
First of all, a friendly Hej in the round, I’ve been driving a Saab 9-5 2.3T limousine for 10 years now. Due to the sad economic situation of my brand, I’m going to have to find another brand in the future! And since there’s no combo in question for me, I’ve become aware of the S80II. After I didn’t like the first version at all, I’m very impressed by the timeless elegance of the current version. Now I have no experience with Volvo at all. Therefore, I would like to give me some help. To make it quite concrete: I’ve taken a S80II 3.2 AWD into consideration, MY09. What about the experiences with the machine so far. What consumption values can be achieved in this configuration (automatik, all-wheel). My Saab Turbo is very reasonable, in the summer as well as in the winter, I’m driving at 8,5-9,0 liters, and on the BAB also i.d.R. only a travel tempo of 160 km/h Zug. I’m really good at the Retrigger, I’s over 180 km/over.

V60 with 2 mobile phones: Bluetooth does not connect automatically
Hello people! I have the following problem: Our V60 is used alternately by my wife and myself, I have a Windows Phone (Samsung Omnia 7) my wife has an Android (Samsung Galaxy). The Bluetooth connection works perfectly in itself, if the device is connected once. The only problem is that I have to make the connection manually every time my wife has driven the car before, and was connected to her mobile phone. My V60 is searching nicely for “previously connected devices”, but finds nothing. I have to go into the Sensus menu myself and select my Omnia 7 from the list, then it is perfectly connected. Of course Bluetooth is activated on the mobile phones, but that’s also true. I can’t find any other adjustment options that you can so google (hook at “authorized connection” etc.). Meanwhile, it’s very annoying already when I forgot to connect again and when the ride is called. Either you don’t answer or you have a security problem… Does someone have a different idea than to take away my wife’s mobile phone?

New assistance systems
Hello, the new V40 is about to be released. Now a lot of information is already known and here in the forum there is already a Dutch price list of the new V40. I have an S60 2011 with all assistance systems and I have to say I’m thrilled. But now my question: The V40 is waiting with new systems (improved tote angle warning, monitoring of side traffic at crossings, speed detection, parking assistant,…) From when is it realistic that these novelties are also available for other models especially for S60, V60 or XC60? Already in the model year 2013 which is shortly before or only in the MJ 2014. The Sensus has now been introduced very agilely in almost all model series. Thank you already in advance for information Greeting Andreas

Help, I bought a computer!
Dear Volvo Community, I have always had only old cars, my last and most modern car was a V70 I of 97. Now I switched to a V70 III Bj 5/13 (VorFL) and have a few questions, because I am overwhelmed with some technical games: 1. Can the car actually not show me the cooling water temperature??? And if yes, how? 2. I wanted to connect my music to the car, so I put a USB stick in the connection first. When this was not recognized, I connected my MP3 player there. The MP3 player showed a connection and was charged, but on the display of the vehicle was still “USB-connect”. On the website of Volvo it says that it can take a bit of time depending on the number of files. How long would that be and does it not at least indicate that a device is connected? Thank you for your help!

More and more noises in the interior
Hello, I have the feeling that I hear more and more creaked, chamoised and more polished in the interior. The plastic claddings seem to work massively, especially now at low outside temperatures. The door rubbers I have the feeling (although treated with rubber care) stick to the holms and produce an annoying noise with every unevenness, as if it were tearing away. Generally, the plastic pinches on the arm, touch, pull the door, etc. From the trunk cover come also flapping noises. I have so slowly the muzzle full of Volvo. Was already 3 times in the factory saddle because of this shit. It was gone – now it comes back stronger. Do you also have similar problems with the XC60 or do I tend to overestimate it?

Swede landed!
Good evening, I just wanted to introduce you to my new Volvo S80 T6 Executive, which I picked up today. I didn’t create an extra “order-threat” because I wanted to give you a little bit of a surprise. I hope the surprise was successful. So my first impression: Super Auto! A few years ago I never thought that a Volvo was so good. But it is. The glider was doped with the Polestar tuning package to 330 hp and 480 NM. This performance is enough for every situation and makes a hell of a lot of fun, especially because you are constantly underestimated on the BAB, because this car offers pure understatement and thus leaves so many BMW or Audi drivers astonished! That’s certainly quite interesting and makes for amazing looks. Otherwise I’m more than happy with the car – the driver – the executive package – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver – the driver

Volvo XC60 Solution for Order? Heico?
After I have already started a topic today, where I have expressed my thoughts (disappointment) about the lack of performance for me at the XC60 2.4…is this perhaps the solution now? I have read a little bit and stumbled over Heico Tuning. I do not need to order a D5 but rather the 2.4 AWD GT with Heico Tuning on 230 hp. The key figures on the website actually indicate that I have enough fun with the car afterwards. 230 hp/450nM / 0-100 7.8 seconds. That is then no longer such a big difference to my BMW X6. I was disturbed by the passage down and from 160. Does someone already have experiences with the tuning, does my dealer do it on site or how does it work? Is the price of approx. 1800 euros?? Can I order it right away with the new car order? Thank you in advance.
