  • V60: XC version? If so, what name?

Does Volvo leave the market below the XC70 III to other manufacturers such as Subaru and Audi (A4 allroad) or will there be an XC version of the V60? In the next few years, a whole series of XC70 II are expected to be replaced and many will not want to take the step to the larger XC70 III – there would be an XC version of the V60. Especially in markets like Holland and North America, there is a lot of XC70 II, there should be also an XC version of the V60 successful. Of course, there is a certain cannibalization against the XC70 III, on the other hand, many of them might be held in Volvo, which may otherwise be a competitor such as the Audi A4 allroad. The development effort should be minimal, after all, it is nothing but a V60 AWD with a slightly higher drive and a bit of plastic cladding. Only, how should this XC version of the V60 be called?

  • XC60 rims 19 or 20 inch

I am looking for XC60 alloy wheels for the summer. I am currently riding the cyphyrus with winter tyres, which are somewhat off-look. I don’t like the original Volvo rims. I am thinking about whether I should get 19 or 20 inches. I am also fluctuating between 235 or 255. I wonder if the 255s actually bring an optical gain or only cost more and drive up the consumption unnecessary. Who has experience with this topic? Above all, I am interested in where you bought the rims and whether there are restrictions on the tuv or you even have to limit the steering impact or to do overturning work on the wheel runs. Can you simply buy the rims over the internet and mount them yourself or see problems there? Do I have to pay attention to width and press-in depth (8.0J ET43 or 9.0J ET43)? Would you like to add the following rims:http://www.felgenoutlet.de/…/etabeta_Jofall_Glanzschwarz_polished Thank you for info

  • Winter tires…

Yesterday a letter of my duty tyre dealer fluttered into my email mailbox: which winter tyres I would like to have to my new car. Basically I had so far almost always Conti, apart from an exception. Now I have the choice of the torture for the XC60. Tyre size is the 235/17. Has someone experience with: – pirelli Scorpion ICE and snow – Conti 4×4 (which I have up to date and would take again) – Dunlop WinterSport 3D – michelin Lat Alpin With the rims there is only the choice between Pest-Cholera-Tripper in silver or black. I decided for the m.E least evil.

  • V60 – so far he doesn’t go to me

Hello guys, this evening I got the V60 as a replacement car. It looks quite chic from the outside, but if I put myself in, I just lack the “elch feeling”. I just lack the feel-good factor; can also be due to the cheap equipment (bad plastic [does not work] and the fabric seats are too rough for me. I haven’t driven a lot yet, but I’m quite satisfied with the steering and chassis. Also the overview is neat for a new car. Let’s see, I still have the car the whole day tomorrow. Maybe I can report something positive. LG Stefan

  • V60 clatters

Hello! Our V60 (D3, Kinetic, 19000 km) has been clapping for a few weeks. It’s a short noise that sounds more like plastic parts, which occurs with short bumps (e.g. Gulli cover). On a brisker journey, e.g. highway it no longer occurs. The noise comes clearly from the rear right, e.g. height recirculation seat/C-pillar. My search has so far only resulted in exclusions: It is not the trunk flap, not the cargo compartment cover, not the luggage net, not the tank lid, not the belt and there are no parts lying around. Has anyone experienced a tip or even similar and if necessary solved? I am grateful for any help!

  • V60 D5 Irregularities in consumption indicator and DrivE

Hello, For a few days I have observed that my V60 sometimes does not display 0.0 L/100Km but some consumption although I brake with the engine (foot from the accelerator) the displayed consumption during normal driving is then displayed significantly higher than usual. (e.g. 9.8 L/100 km at 90Km/h in 6 gear on straight track. This problem “disappears” mostly when the car is parked and read out. (it is enough a stop of 2-3 minutes) The turn on of the engine alone is not enough. Also the DrivE system does not work for several days either. It is not an indicator such as “battery is charged” or similar to see, and the temperatures are about 10-15 °C Does any of you know such problems? Should I greet the ancestor?

  • PROTECTION PLATTS, BACKERS FOR XC60

Hello all, I have a question about the accessory part PROTECTION PLATTE, HINTERER STOSSFÄNGER – is this mandatory or does only have to be carried with the ABE? What does this cost approximately incl. mounting for the model DRIVe?

  • Inscription for XC60

Hello there I would just like to point out that from MJ 2013 Inscription there will also be for the XC60! New colours are linen white and the tan, so similar to the V70. In addition, the leather is generally grained finer, as in the V70. Vlt. helps with the selection 😉 Gruess us dä CH Peter

  • Heico chip deleted after engine update?!

Hello, actually wanted to order me a Heico XC60 D3 AWD. However, the dealer (and another car dealer) advised me not to do so, because with a software update for the engine (of Volvo) the data of the Heico chip are deleted (or no longer fit) and this should be reprogrammed. I then ordered (according to these statements) the D5 AWD. Has someone experience with Heico and updates for engine etc. ? VG, Pelzebubub

  • Purchase advice: V70 D3 last generation

Hello, after 10 very reliable years with my Opel Signum 1.8 I am now slowly looking for a worthy replacement. By chance I discovered a Volvo-service car at the dealer. V70 D3 (136 hp) 2 years old, 27000 km. What would you have to pay attention to with a V70D3 if you want to drive it long ? Does he have certain childhood diseases (electronics, DPF, etc.) ? Can he be compared qualitatively with a passat ?
