  • Touring suspension XC 60

    Hello Currently I drive an XC 60 R design and am very satisfied with the vehicle except for the hard chassis. Now there is a new order ( XC 60 summum ) and I would like to order the Touring or the Four C chassis. I have already been able to test the Four C extensively, and actually only drove in Comfort mode, which was very comfortable suspension. So the touring suspension would be absolutely sufficient for me. Unfortunately, I have no possibility to test the touring suspension here in the vicinity. Can someone please tell me his experience with the touring suspension here in the forum? Is it the Four C in Comfort mode and should you order the speed-dependent servo steering because of the softer suspension? For your answers I would like to thank you in advance.

  • Wide winter tyres

    Hello together, it is only now in the spring/summer, nevertheless I already think about which winter pellet are raised. In the SuFU I did not find anything suitable. To the choice stand 205/60/R16 or 225/55/R16, in the case on steel rims…. Basically I had so far always narrower winter tires on it than summer tires. But with the thick ship V70 I think, whether it is not more useful to raise identical tires to the summer tires (225/55/R16) Bzw. seems to me the idea, because these narrow bicycle tires (in relation) to it to pull…. The extra costs are snup, you don’t have to pay attention. What have you done for experiences? Is one also good with the 225ers through snow, rain, cold ?

  • 2.0T, D5 … or something else?

    I only know that it has to be a switchcar with 230 ps, but I have no idea which volvo it should be. the s40 II would have the ideal size, but is only offered with automatic, the used manually switched have all far too many km down. and besides, the volvo five cylinders should be stamped due to their drinking pleasure. the s60II is offered as gasoline with 203 ps and with 205 (or 215 ps) as diesel. about the gasoline I read in the forum that it is also not exactly economical and should be quite unspectacular. how is this with the approximately equally strong diesel? which engine achieves the “v-max” faster and which engine is more comfortable to drive with a high – close to the v-max – travel speed? and how can you imagine that with the ppc software from mr-sweden (243 vs 245 ps) with the “v-max” and which engine is more comfortable with a high – near the v-max – travel speed?

    Hello Elch-driver, now I drive my v70 III D5 Summum already some tkm.   • Deep scratch in the paint after visit to the workshop

    Today I just had to get rid of a story. On the last Thursday I had the first inspection of my XC60. In the car house the acceptance master went through with me and also looked at the car. We sat in and talked a few minutes. After that I signed the order and drove to IKEA. In the afternoon I wanted to pick up the car. However, the master said that this was not finished yet, because the SENSUS update lasted a little longer than thought. Shortly afterwards I made a final test drive with the master and drove home. The car parked overnight in the driveway of our property. The next day I drove to the work and put the car in the car garage. I ran around the car again and determined that at the fender of the passenger side a deep scratch in the sheet. Then I immediately called in the workshop and described the scratch. I said that this was not there later before yesterday’s workshop visit I told me that I should come by and be notified of the damage.

However, we have the whole time of a 5 cylinder engine with 2.4 liters of engine capacity and 163 hp and 420 Nm torque spoke to you? At home I arrived on the signed Ford then read a truck that it is a 2 litre engine with 370 Nm. <-----------------Habe now something wrong? What do you want to buy from this engine?

  • V60 R-Design driver

    Hello, since I still could not quite decide which moose the next one could be, I turn to the R-Design driver. After many now certainly several tardy kilometers, I would like to ask you for your experiences, how satisfied you are with the R-Design suspension. When do you especially enjoy “the hard chassis” and if you are quite honest, when did you ever have Schei…. roared, because you have already shot the hardness in the spine, e.g. on cobblestones, car banh cross joints, bridge crosscarriers with 160 things or even deep-lying channel covers with 40 kilometers. Or does it drive differently with 4 people and a few suitcases inside ? Thanks for your experiences and a nice weekend !

  • XC60 dates – order, confirmation, date of construction, LT at model change

    Since the end of April/ beginning of May there is the slightly changed XC60 with price list and announcement. Specifically I have a date question regarding model year. I ordered my new car in February. I received a desired delivery date from the leasing in KW 24, i.e. 11.- 15 June, because my old contract expires at the end of June. Now the “price question” is then a model year 2012 (i.e. D3) or already a model year 2013 (i.e. D4). Or the other way around: When will the new models be built? Are there fixed dates, or is that sliding ( according to the motto D3 is “all”, next car is a D4)? Who can explain this to me on my data? Thanks Walter

  • V70 DRIVe 2,5 Flexi Fuel Questions

    Day I didn’t want to ask about the Volvo in the Audi Forum, it is now a V70 DRIVe 2.5 Flexi Fuel from 10/2009 with 38000km. Tires and Tüv are completely new and winter tyres with a 7mm profile are there. My questions: Does the Volvo control chain or belt ? The DRIVe is probably limited to 210km although it can 230km because of the fuel saving etc, the tires give “only” 210km, if you want to change that, you need other tyres and the entry in the vehicle license yes ? but 210km is enough for me and therefore I will not do something like that (it only intresses me). The software there in the display is in Swedish and it is supposedly possible to have it changed by the Volvo dealer, where they want 100€ for, it also goes differently? (did not have the car driven by the Volvo dealer) Bin the crate test and must say TOLL, neatly steam (340Nm/231PS) and you can just have over 1500 revolutions at 100Kmh, my “older” for the trailer has a 100km.

  • Run the engine until DPF burns?

    If the D5 burns the particulate filter, and you turn off the engine, the car smells burnt from the outside. – Therefore, my question: would it be better to run the engine until the filter is free? (only then I wonder why there are no control lights that informs me that it’s just burning out – I always notice that the push-off doesn’t work).
