  • Emergency bike and space in trunk XC 60

Hello, at XC 60 the tyre repair kit is included in the standard equipment. However, I would prefer the emergency bike, how is it then with the storage under the trunk, does it disappear? The bag storage flap remains the or does it disappear in the case of the emergency bike? Does anyone perhaps have a picture of the trunk with emergency bike? The safety disconnect is standard, is this stored in the storage under the trunk? I finally have a test trip in the next week and hope that my expectations will be fulfilled. I have already driven a GLK sample but I didn’t like the form at all. Thanks already for the answers Thomas

  • XC60 D4 AWD GT 181PS – Performance increase – Polestar, Heico, Racechip?

Hello, I’m thinking about whether I’m getting my XC60 BJ 2014 MY 2015 a performance increase, in which acceleration I’d like to have a little bit more pull. Now I’m faced with the painful and already much discussed topic: performance increase by whom? For me Polestar, Heico or the Racechip are a question. Polestar: +34PS +20NM €1,199,- Heico: +49PS, +70NM €2,014,- Racechip Ultimate: +51PS +108NM €479,- With the Polestar, the torque increase is a little bit low, but I’d like Heico very much. Interesting of the price would be the Racechip, where the torque increase is too high without damaging the vehicle. I would have been interested if someone had already experienced the racechip. • big disaster: Dachreling on the V70 just dropped off

Hello dear reader, today I am standing anner Tanke and wondering about the gap between my roof rail and the rubber piece. Be sure to be 5mm. So over to the left side and there looked: everything OK there. Then look over again to the right and a bit more closely. And look, the roof rail consists of an aluminium cast part screwed with the car and a snapped aperture. And on the inside of this aperture a halter is broken. No idea how this happened, the broken piece was still in between. My crossstays for the roof box at least did not fixed during the last vacation there behind. So next to the and a new part ordered. Or I drive in Koblenz through the washing system anner Araltanke and report it to the operator as damage greetings, Eric (how to formulate headlines to reach more readers I learned from Kai Dieckmann )

  • Daytime running light /TFL LED installation in V70 III

Hello municipality, I am shortly before the delivery of my 6th Volvo ́s and the topic day running light has packed me. Through the Bi – Xenon headlights is an LED – TFL under the aspects 1. Longevity Xenon and 2. Energy saving worth some thought. When browsing the net I stumbled over the variant LEDay Flex of the company Hella ( www.tagfahrlicht.com ). According to the view of individual pictures of the front of the V70 offers to me the area of the plastic cladding fog lights, here are in the upper row 6 holes (ventilation or similar picture) available. What do you hold of this variant, is a installation at this place or is already someone who has installed so or similar his TFL. Thank you for your opinion

  • List of defects XC60

We all know that the XC 60 is a great car, unfortunately it also has very dark dark sides, to keep the overview a list with please add: 1. Exhaust gas in the interior by standing heating 2. high consumption (missing gasoline) 3. annoying noises by motor + wind 4. light behaviour with switched off engine 5. frozen windscreen wiper nozzles + missing windscreen wiper heater 6. function – automatic tailgate 7. complicated installation of mobile navigation systems …. wait for MY2011, maybe then the childhood diseases will be survived???? Gruss Cees PS. it’s about survival at Volvo – many don’t want to drive Chinese (image problem) the rest can only be bound by customer satisfaction as at SUBARU – Volvo is still a premium brand!!

  • But not the all-rounder, the Q5

When I started looking for a car, I wanted a 4×4. GLK too small, X3 too old and uncomfortable; so only XC60 and Q5 remained. The Audi came, because of ugly, not in question, but reports after, the car is super, especially the quattro. The car image is poisonous, and I read several compares in it: always the filthy result, the Q5 above; and that’s why I looked for the car. Fortunately I found an antidote at Volvo in time. And today I found this. Painful, and a grin has drawn in my face:Video, you tube Oh so! My XC70 is coming this week.

  • Touring suspension XC 60

Hello Currently I drive an XC 60 R design and am very satisfied with the vehicle except for the hard chassis. Now there is a new order ( XC 60 summum ) and I would like to order the Touring or the Four C chassis. I have already been able to test the Four C extensively, and actually only drove in Comfort mode, which was very comfortable suspension. So the touring suspension would be absolutely sufficient for me. Unfortunately, I have no possibility to test the touring suspension here in the vicinity. Can someone please tell me his experience with the touring suspension here in the forum? Is it the Four C in Comfort mode and should you order the speed-dependent servo steering because of the softer suspension? For your answers I would like to thank you in advance.

  • Wide winter tyres

Hello together, it is only now in the spring/summer, nevertheless I already think about which winter pellet are raised. In the SuFU I did not find anything suitable. To the choice stand 205/60/R16 or 225/55/R16, in the case on steel rims…. Basically I had so far always narrower winter tires on it than summer tires. But with the thick ship V70 I think, whether it is not more useful to raise identical tires to the summer tires (225/55/R16) Bzw. seems to me the idea, because these narrow bicycle tires (in relation) to it to pull…. The extra costs are snup, you don’t have to pay attention. What have you done for experiences? Is one also good with the 225ers through snow, rain, cold ?

  • 2.0T, D5 … or something else?

I only know that it has to be a switchcar with 230 ps, but I have no idea which volvo it should be. the s40 II would have the ideal size, but is only offered with automatic, the used manually switched have all far too many km down. and besides, the volvo five cylinders should be stamped due to their drinking pleasure. the s60II is offered as gasoline with 203 ps and with 205 (or 215 ps) as diesel. about the gasoline I read in the forum that it is also not exactly economical and should be quite unspectacular. how is this with the approximately equally strong diesel? which engine achieves the “v-max” faster and which engine is more comfortable to drive with a high – close to the v-max – travel speed? and how can you imagine that with the ppc software from mr-sweden (243 vs 245 ps) with the “v-max” and which engine is more comfortable with a high – near the v-max – travel speed?

  • …mysterious “Donng” from my V70 III D5

Hello Elch-driver, now I drive my v70 III D5 Summum already some tkm. But recently he did not get in touch with me – whispering, sparing, mystical-melodious, scary: “donng” – a high, barely perceptible, silent “donng” – from somewhere, from the intestines of the elk, hardly to be found and so, as I suddenly perceived it, it has also disappeared again, reverberated in the infinite depths of the elk! And did not register any more – for days. Until a few days ago! Easter!! An ohmen?! There it was again, this “donng”. A shiver ran over my back, my worshippers looked at me immediately and did not miss the border?
