  • Purchase advice

Hello together, I’ve been driving an Audi A6 2.7 TDI for almost two years and now have 120,000 KM on the clock. I’m playing with the idea of replacing my car with a V70 T6. The background is that the T6 is also available as an LPG gas retrofit. My question: Has anyone of you already had a T6 converted to LPG gas and what are the experiences? Then I chose the following accessories: black leather comfort seats in soft beige LM Felge Venator 245/40 R18 Dark Fineline Fahrdynami kpaket Fahrassistenzpaket Familien Package RTI Navisystem Safety comfort package Driver and passenger seat electric Goggles holder for driver’s seat Parking aid front and rear Failure of engine designation FSE with Bluetooth headphone outputs and individual source selection Middle arm back DVD player rear Audio package High performance TV receipt digital wheel nuts lockable Sliding lifting roof side window rear and rear window darkened Standing heating Since I have no experience with Volvo ha I’m not sure if I have all the “must haves” with me or if there is something else that has to be installed in a V70. Now I’m looking forward to the offer from my dealer. What makes more sense with Volvo to lease the car for three years with 180,000 KM or to buy it. Which variant can you get more discount from Volvo? Maybe one of you also has an experience worth it. Thank you very much for your tips and a nice day in advance.

  • Puuh – Emergency braking function has prevented accident!

Today the collision warning or emergency braking function of my XC 60 actually saved me from an accident! It happened after I had waited (with 3 or 4 vehicles in front of me) at a red traffic light and then started at Green. Still in the acceleration phase – so shortly behind the crossing – the first vehicle suddenly braked and wanted to turn left into a driveway. Since this unexpected braking probably already from the vehicle in front of me can not detect in time t was massively braked this vehicle and I also realized the situation too late – it would have become almost a typical crash. But the collision warning system worked absolutely perfectly: short the optical and acoustic warning and even before I could react the vehicle was already massively braked and the crash prevented!!! I am absolutely thrilled and glad that I (Volvo be thank you!) can still say that I have been driving without an accident for 30 years ; -)

  • V70 cheaper than VW Golf Variant (Leasing)

Hello together, I just looked at the XC90, which also creates the “I want” feeling with me. For me the vehicle would be in three years, if I got money, even without working … Then I have time, e.g. to drive around with the caravan in Europe. But first I have to drive for 3 years still every day 130 km and had to offer me once also a VW Golf Variant for private leasing 30 months. But was quite expensive, at the 500 Euro for 30 months leasing duration. I don’t get the planned V60 for the price, who would have thought it. Anyway, the V70 with a list price of approx. 42,000 euros is more than 40 euros cheaper than a golf with list price 34,000 euros. And the seller at VW did not want to negotiate at all. I then also no longer … If you need more information, please report via PN. I did not have the Lijne Classic on the screen, since I wrongly the Me inung was, it would only be with D2 engine. But I could still get to the V70 before it doesn’t exist anymore. Greetings Renesomi PS.: If possible, no leasing discussions, I know what I’m doing …

  • Engine noise at V60 D4 AWD

Hello Volvo fans, I just registered because our V60 (5-cylinder with 181 hp) makes a funny noise in the partial load range between 1500 – 2000 revolutions. My buddy is a car master at Audi and thinks it could be a ignition ring. The car was bought by me in January 2015 directly by the Volvo dealer with approx. 17000km(show car). I noticed this noise in April – it is only to be heard if you stand for example at the traffic light and drive slowly. The car was already 2 times at the Volvo car house and it could not be fixed yet – the KM performance is now about 27000 km. Has someone had this already ? I would be grateful for info – because the V60 is otherwise really a nice car. Markus PS: This is now the 3rd Volvo with the 5-cylinder diesel engine, before that I had 2 x V70 diesel with 163 hp

  • V70/XC70 with maximum driving comfort

Hello, after my old V70 I slowly gives up my mind, I am looking for a worthy successor. Since I have also driven a Citroen XM for a long time, my priority is a comfortable suspension and a low-vibration engine as quiet as possible. My father has an XC70 D3 MJ 2011 and I find that the suspension is much better there than the V70 I and the V70 II. That’s why I also tend to a V70 III or XC70 III. However, I have read that with the current Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? Which is the quietest engine with the lowest vibrations? Greeting, Alfred, Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? Is the XC70 more comfortable than the V70 III? What is the quietest engine with the lowest vibrations?

  • New moose introduces itself – XC70

Hello together So, he’s finally here! My XC70 D4 Summum seashell Metallic. I drove 80km today and I’m thrilled. Optics 1+ with *, driving comfort 1+, equipment also top marks! Sensus top, many adjustment options, after a few clicks also very understandable. The D4 unobtrusive and powerful, with shift paddles when overtaking the highway very pleasant to act. The car glides there formally. Volvo on call is unlocked next week, because still lacks the active music via USB ran immediately, also connection of the iphone. Just via FS on the phone, everything as it should. Today in the heat the ventilated soft leather seats tried out – a delight! Seashell just the right color, is a bit darker than on the pictures, the rims in diamond cut absolutely fitting to it. My dream car!!! I can’t say more yet. Soon in this thread more photos and reports. Must drive about 300 km on Monday, then more. Greeting Tom

  • “new” V60 on board

Dear comrades and readers, after a long search I finally found out and can pick up my used V60 on Friday. The last 4 years and about 140,000km I was very satisfied with Toyota Prius 2, which is now to be replaced after 206 tkm. For long tours I wish with a little more comfort and performance, the quality impression of the successor did not convince me and so the search started. A/B/M drove me partly, their image did not. b from the bar for me only the star left, I used to like to drive. However, the already with the little ones in the insurance are quite expensive, so that I looked over the edge of the box… The V60 fits of format and I liked for a long time, driving assistance, sliding roof and rear camera were mandatory, D3 seemed reasonable to me. Until I realized that the D5 in the insurance is not more expensive and compared to many competitors even cheap… Long speech, no S inn… Who already has, it has become a V60 D5 AWD, 215 hp from 8/11. Unfortunately not in color (black) and without roofing (I find pretty), but otherwise very fine equipped. SUMMUM me xenium, driving assistance, driving dynamics and safety comfort package. 105tkm, first hand, with Volvo Selekt, new inspection, HU/AU and WR under 20k€, I am happy that Volvo does not disappoint me and now look forward to the delivery on Friday. Ah so, I am by the way Christian, 36 years j I have finally accepted that I have arrived at “my” brand now. PS: Thank you for making mistakes with my mobile phone, I will edit that from the PC…

  • Leasing contract S80 expires – what now???

Hello, at the moment drive the S80II and I am very satisfied with this car. At the end of February 2011 the lease agreement expires and for me there were many questions: Again Leasing: Yes / No ?? The S80II was the first leasing vehicle I had. I have always paid all my vehicles in cash until now – was my education: Drive only what you can pay. My experience, Leasing is too inflexible. I thought, for example, I will drive 120,000 km in 36 months. But it will only be about 100,000km. If it were my car, I would keep it a little longer now. Stomach pain is already causing me the vehicle tax. The one I bought so far seven Volvis is no longer. The new dealer I now go to with my three Volvos, to whom I also gave another Volvo driver the workshop recommendation there the sales team doesn’t even look at me with the A…. I don’t know if I go as a new customer in a car house and say ‘I was There and there, at the moment have three Volvos, the family member also has one, we come to you now, have bought in eight years 7 + 1 car, because I do not put my listener on OR? But it gets even better, not even the Volvo bank or Volvo D has told me who is responsible for the leasing car in the future. I expect almost with the notice: Please park your vehicle to the leasing end as close as possible to the Polish border. That a new vehicle is due, has again Volvo: Yes / No ?? speaks a lot about this, but much against: Take over of Geely, for me absolute NoGo. No technology transfer to China!!! Which vehicle size in the future ?? The S80 falls out, as I will not be so much on the road anymore. Have left a part of my customers. So the new S60? From the design: Sorry, can’t go at all: The new tadpole face is not my case, neither with the C30, C70 and the S/V60. The Navi that is now sitting in a cave in the armature carrier – my eye is at road level! Even the new AUDI A1 has it up now. Volvo develops back just because a few stupid car testers have not noticed that the Navi can also be operated from the steering wheel. Conclusion: Well, my decision has unfortunately fallen against Volvo: I always found the coupe-like appearance of the S40II and the S80II very nice before. Now I have made nails with heads: I have b egestellt: Passat CC BlueMotion Technolgy 2,0l TDI DPF 170PS DSG with a bit of frills. Don’t be angry with me, not even stoned me After all, we still have two Volvis your Jürgen NS: By the way, our relative, whom I had helped to form an S60, was in the said car dealership customer, but decided after an XC60 test drive and after the sales interview for a Honda CRX somehow the brochure distributors don’t bring it.

  • Incredible wind noise and consumption – if only I had bought BMW

Have our V7oIII D5 automatic since June 2009 and during this time have covered 9000 km (total km now 27000). I was very surprised that the consumption is on average 9.5 liters, I do not get less than 8 liters even with extreme economy drive (max 120 on the highway, engine from at traffic lights, slowest acceleration, climate off). I am very disappointed, a review at Volvo did not bring anything. Furthermore one hears partly clear twisting snare e.g. when driving down a boron dsteins. Do you have that too? Having top experience with V70 II terrified of the poor quality and can only advise anyone to buy a BMW or other German premium brand is a really different level. Greeting Uli
