  • Too stupid to program the heater. Who can help?

Moin on the other hand, as described in the thread title, I’m obviously too stupid to set the heater over timer, so that the car gets warm in the interior. As a short info: I already had a V70 II with pre-heater and then a BMW E61 with pre-heater. On both the timer was set over BC. I never had a problem getting my cars warm the next morning. Now to the current case: At the moment I drive an XC70 D5 model year 2009. When buying a pre-heater I have a pre-heater A WEBASTO was installed by the dealer. Not to mention that the timer can now only be set when the engine is switched off is the usual press and turn the same as before. So I am able to adjust the timer. Only the problem is that the car is not warm the next morning in the interior. My dealer has the following advice ready: Before I turn off the car in the evening, I should have the temperature for the inside of the car when the engine is running. Then turn off the car and set the timer. So he did it on my car (tested by him in the workshop) and it would have worked. So said, did…. Stefan sets everything just like that, but the car stays cold. From the ventilation comes only a warm, cool air. Now my question to all heater users: first you have to put the temperature for the interior on Max. before you put the floor heating on Max. What am I doing wrong??? Thank you for your advice!! Doubt already about me…. Greeting Stefan

  • EU consumption is feasible…

…if you go on holiday in Sweden and Denmark and keep to the speeds allowed there. In any case, almost. That’s my understanding after a total of 8300 kilometers in the XC 60 2.4 D drive (with manual transmission): 6.25 l were on the most economical stage (mainly Danish highway with 70-80 km/h and a lot of cruise control) 9.5 l were on the fastest stage (fully loaded on the motorway with largely free travel: 175 km/h with cruise control) 8.5 l are compared to the Occupational traffic (daily 70 km highway + motorway + traffic jam, for comparison: my previous V50 2.0D swallowed 7.0 l there with identical driving method) Factory specifications: 7.8 l inner-city 5.0 l extra-urban 6.0 l combined

  • V70 III with new 205hp diesel boom

Moin Moin, have had my new V70 MY 2010 Geartronic with the new D5 Diesel 205hp for 2 weeks now. I am satisfied with the power unit (consumption 7.8 liters in the city), only at about 60 km/h and an engine speed of 1400 rpm the engine buzzes while giving gas, which is quite annoying in closed villages. Did any of you have the same experiences???

  • Feedback on the Leasing Restraint

My new XC60 is here and I wanted to share my experience of returning my first leasing vehicle with the interested ones. Since I am a passionate Volvo driver, my three years ago I advised me to try it with a private leasing. Advantage: No large maintenance costs and at regular intervals (if desired) a new car. It sounded very interesting to me and I agreed that the car would be a very nice one. a the option remained open for me to buy or leave the car after the leasing end. Well, the three years went by like in the flight and yesterday the separation of my beloved V70 was planned. When I decided to admit the V70 back in the summer and to drive a horny XC60 for it, I thought at regular intervals how it would work with the return of the vehicle and how “steng” it would be. I have to say that I was pretty good with the vehicle. andle, which doesn’t mean that I wash three times a week or so, just carefully deal with it, as you certainly do. Unfortunately, some time ago the bad marten had hit me, so that I had to record in the engine room a bad nibble at the dam, what I already pointed out and daruaf hired me to pay this at the return. He only said before: “Please don’t make it so hesitant, with loyal customers, we have certain playrooms” That was also so, yesterday the XC60 was picked up, then the V70 the Km stand was noted, once briefly looked around the car and since everything was in order, because protocol for the withdrawal of both of us was countersigned. I was so baff that it goes so smoothly and without problems, that I would now do it again at any time after the first leasing return. All my worries were in vain and I am glad to have decided so. Many greetings … your matze

  • Unround run

Moin moin Drive a Volvo XC60 BJ 15 with the 2.4 l 5 Ender My problem: In the morning or after work when I start the run the slightly uneven and has speed fluctuations That makes it about 30 sec. After that it runs like a clockwork! Have read it out with VIDA and there were no errors in it! What could it be? Maybe at empty run controller (if the thing has) or maybe the throttle flap? Have definitely taken out the small sensor at the top of the suction bridge times and he was slightly deformed! Looks always funny when the car has fluctuations greeting

  • V60. Insert Vorfacelift instrument in Facelift

Hello together, as you can see by my name, I have now changed from the Mercedes world to the Volvo world. After an accident I have now become the owner and driver of a Volvo V60 D3 (2.0l 4 Zyl diesel) MY 2015 Facelift and so far very happy. I find only the instrument cluster with the central speedometer and the speed in reduced form (almost a vertical band) next to it very unusual to the right. The display on the left of the tacho with the “Efficiency” needle is in my opinion Humbug. However, I have already looked for a lot on the internet and forums if it would be possible to install a combination instrument from the preface lift (which with the two classic circular instruments) into the facelift model. Quadi a downgrade. The problem with the lack of water temperature still does not seem to be solved. But I find two circular instruments with a fully-fledged revometer much more pleasant. So far I only have To based on digital display found that require programming via VIDA. Maybe someone knows if a rear-facing conversion on Vorfacelift might be more straightforward? Or maybe not at all? Thank you very much from my side as a Volvo newcomer.

  • Speedometer lighting

Hello, Does any of you have an S60,V60,V70,XC60 with Kinetic execution? Could you please take a picture of the speedometer “at night” so that I can see what the lighting of the instrument cluster looks like?

  • XC60 24D Help multiple turbocharger errors

Moin Volvo driver, I hope someone can help me here or give me some advice.? I would be very grateful for that! It’s about the Volvo from an acquaintance. It’s an XC60 24D from the year 2010 with just under 160,000 km. History: on the way to vacation the hose fell off the turbocharger and so the vehicle was moved around 2000 km. The following errors are stored in the memory. If you delete the errors, the car becomes quite normal until the speed goes a little higher. The DPF has been cleaned the turbocharger has been overhauled, whereby the overhauler has said that the turbocharger has worked perfectly before. In the vehicle a lot of money has already been invested and yet no one can find the fault. Injector cylinder four has been replaced and learned What exactly everything has been changed, I can in the course of Maybe she has a similar problem. ? Thanks in advance
