Hello! For a few months I have had a Volvo V60 with which I noticed already early after the purchase 2 round dents (depths of 5-8cm in diameter) on the bonnet (exactly in the middle of the vehicle, above each other, close to the lower edge). These are only weakly pronounced but with favorable light and knowledge well to be recognized. Despite clearly defined position a sketch is attached (places are not visible on photos) So far I feared that these shallow dents must have been created by foreign influences, which also my dealer suggested to me. ;-)Now I have seen in the last weeks 2 more V60 (one in Germany, one in Austria) the HAARGENAU had just this pair of dents at the same place. The logical conclusion is that the damage is already established in the (inappropriate) production (with some Fzg). The V60 drivers (possibly also S60) should check under you and post here for the case. Many greetings!

S80 exec. V8 or T6 or 3.2?
Hello Volvo-Gemeinde, I would like to get rid of a question, because I want to get a S80 at short notice, now the question arises to me whether I should increase the V8 (unfortunately much too rare) or the T6 or the 3.2. Bj should be with all 2006/2007 < 100,000 km and Exec.-equipment. I have given my CLK 320 (Bj. 2000) nevertheless relatively heavy hearted, but I am already looking forward to a VOLVO. The question is: How big is the difference between the two motorizations really? I have driven the V8 already times and that was already sovereign what the performance has delivered, on the other hand I drove the C30T5 times and was shocked like bad (unspectacular) the power output was. Of course, other car, other engine but if the T6 / 3.2 would be disappointed. MfG Sven

Volvo V60 or XC60 ?
Hello dear Volvo friends, I wanted to get a Volvo soon and as the title says, I am thinking about what’s most useful. Starting point: For my budget I get either a V60 with 15,000km or an XC60 with 90,000km. Both diesel with 163hp and the XC is already 3.5 years old. (Both cars have Volvo Selekt) I live in an area where four-wheel drive is worth it (mountains, lots of snow in winter). On the other hand, I have concerns about the 90k km … not that the engine is over after 1 year … I don’t know how to handle the car. What do you think ? mfG Hora P.S.: Does the V60 actually have an electric tailgate ? And is this in the XC60 series ?

2012/2013 V60 D5 with HEICO 4-Tube AGA
Moin, I’m about to order a 2013 V60 D5 as a hand switch. R-Design in Weiss is supposed to be. Due to the optics (see appendix) and possible sound improvement, I feel strongly attracted to the 4-pipe exhaust system from HEICO for D3/D4/D5:-) I promise myself of it horne at the hand switch (which in contrast to Geartronic can drive more frequently under full load) a nice deep sound that goes towards the 5-cylinder gasoline engine (V70R, Focus ST, Audi RS3). I would be disturbed if the diesel nailing or rattle would become louder or more present, then I would keep a distance from this exhaust system. I would be pleased if possible owners of this AGA could post a short experience report including sound file or video. Although the search function already resulted in some discussions from the past, however I still have no thread about the HEICO system in combination with a 2012 D5. Optisch I would not change anything except the exhaust system. Rims the 18 of the Ixion would be nice?

XC 60 Inscription ?
After 4 years V70 there is now a change to the XC 60 in the house. And this is what it should look like XC 60 D4 AWD Summum GT color white driver assistance systems safety comfort package Xenium package with premium sound subwoofer Volvo on Call DAB + neutral heating doors and rear darkened touring suspension front camera trailer clutch removable Inscription package leather white sky anthracite Heico Someone has already seen the sky in anthracite and has photos. Since I find the white paint the beige set-up not so doll comes the Inscription package just at the right time. And since it has a panoramic roof the dark sky should hardly be noticed.

Innovations MJ2013
I have just read at Heise.de (Auto) a list of the new assistance system for the MJ 2013 – I do not want to withhold from you: New assistance systems Newly included in the program are some assistance systems for the series S60, V60, XC60, V70, XC70 and S80. Traffic sign recognition scans with the help of a camera in the windshield all traffic signs on the road edge and displays them to the driver in the display of the instrument panel. For example, the speed limits are pointed out. The main-beam assistant also uses the camera. If vehicles arriving from a certain degree of twilight are detected at a distance of 400 to 700 meters, the system automatically switches from long-distance to dipped-beam. The same happens with vehicles located at a distance of about 350 meters in front of the car. If the camera no longer registers a vehicle, the long-distance light is reactivated. The emergency braking system City Safety works in future at speeds up to 50 km/h, so far it has only been active up to 30 kilometers.http://www.heise.de/…/…

City Safety tested?
Hi together, I mean I read something about this topic here in the forum a long time ago, but can’t find it about the Sufu. We recently got a new flat-screen TV, packed in a huge cardboard box. So I finally thought of a way to demonstrate to my neighbor City Safety. Box placed at the end of our turning hammer, City Safety active, speed approx. 12 km/h, no hand on the steering wheel, no foot on the pedals and… boom, cardboard scrap. Penetrating. Does City Safety only react on metal or why didn’t the system trigger? Car is an XC60, MJ10. Greetings Michael
