Hello friends, I plan to buy a new XC60 D3 (summum, xenium). Is it enough for all-year tyres (235/60 R18 on rim Zephyrus 7.5 x 18)? If so, which one? I would like to order it as a replacement for the standard tyres. My annual driving performance is about 7000 km in the north German lowlands. Thanks for your answers! Uschi By the way…: Are the 136 hp really enough? !

Pictures of our V70
Hello everybody, I took some pictures this afternoon after cleaning the car. It’s not spectacular, it’s just a standard V70 without a big brimborium… We’re still proud of it….. and you don’t have to do a lot on the V70 either, it’s also such a nice and elegant car, I think The quality is not so doll, I took the pictures with the ipod, because my wife is on the road with the camera But I think that fits also LG Chris

Motor trucks XC60 D3 AWD GT
Hello municipality, since recently I observe the following: I drive e.g. on the motorway with cruise control. All of a sudden the whole car starts with jerking, hpts. when it gets flatter after a mountain again or goes downhill. I tried it then without cruise control: if I go off the gas, then it takes a short time and then jerks again. What I noticed in the context: If I walk off the gas, it takes forever, until in the consumption indicator is 0.0. What could this be? Is the shut-off possible or does not work properly? Who knows this phenomenon? the erzbmw PS asks itself: after now about 83,000 km still satisfied, if one looks at various crack noises times. But on holiday now it is again beautifully purred … (and thanks to speed limitation and flat landscape and little traffic in Denmark I also had a 7 before the comma again 🙂 What I just can not get there here in the middle mountains!

MY 13 – pictures
I checked a V60 R-Design MY 13 today. No surprises. I can’t say anything about the leather quality because the car had R-Design leather. I save pictures of the new SENSUS, which are available in another thread. The new numbers on the rear are not exactly striking. I really can’t see any sense there. The “6” is not better or worse readable than the old number. The light switch has got a selection more: AUTO. Was also discussed extensively here in the forum, therefore I only deliver the picture of the switch. Great innovation is certainly the illuminated automatic selector lever. The switching backdrop in leather looks very high and also the bottom of the switch head is beautifully designed. The selector lever is more ergonomic than its predecessor. However, with the “deckel” I don’t want to get so much pleasure. It is indirectly illuminated by the “deckelrand” with LED’s and the set selection level has also a powerful green status LED. However, this “3D optics” for me was not processed quite cheaply.

Tinted slices from C-pillar
Hello, Since I can’t decide whether a (member) black vehicle will make sense or not, the question of a “intermediate solution” still arises. You can only darken the rear windows and the rear of the V60, according to my understanding the rear doors remain normal. Has anyone seen this or a picture of it? Or does that make no sense anyway? Greetings, Bluefoxx

Four questions about Volvo’s AWD
1. How much drive power can it distribute to the rear wheels? 2. Is top speed lost? 3. How much does the D5 consume more with AWD than without? 4. Are the inspections at AWD more expensive or is there no general price surcharge? All questions refer to the S/V60. Thank you!

XC 60 Parktronics
Hello everyone, I’ve been the owner of an XC 60 for a month and completely annoyed by the parktronics. Whenever I stand at a traffic light and a truck drives by somewhere near the system starts to beep. This happens even if there are still a number of waiting cars between me and the truck. In the operating instructions there is a hint to this problem, but I can’t understand it myself, because I haven’t experienced such a thing in any other car. Is the sensitivity of the system set in? Greetings from annoyed Kai

XC60 bobbing chassis
Hi, my girlfriend and I want to get a new car in the next few months. The XC60 comes into the further selection. Since my V50 had to be inspected, I had such a car as a workshop replacement car to connect it to a test drive. It was an XC60 D5 AWD automatic with momentum equipment and 17″ wheels. We were delighted with the equipment, the workmanship and the safety features. Also the trips to the light terrain were mastered confidently. But then this piny chassis (with slight uneven ground conditions)… with 20″ wheels I would have understood that, but at 17″? How are your vehicles in this regard, maybe I had only bad luck? How is the effect with 16″ wheels? Thank you for your support.

Navi – Update
Hello together, I have a question about the update of the map material. That I should do the whole thing with running! Engine and have to schedule up to 5h time, is in the guide….. Now I drive again to Bavaria this week and have thought about doing the update during the ride. Does anyone know if the other function (phone, radio) still works, or does everything turn off?

SCHOCK at the V 70 MJ 08: rust attack on door hinges
Hello Volvogemeinde, I wouldn’t have thought about that after just 2 years of running my V 70 (EZ5/2008): On the door hinge of the driver’s door there is considerable rust infestation!! (see photo) According to VCG, the customer service has failed to grease the hinge, which the dealer naturally denies. He says that the primer of the hinges was probably forgotten during installation. The repair runs now at the expense of the dealer (rost scrape, re-prime, paint finished! Supposedly it is an individual case. Who has experience with it? Greeting your volvo lover (unfortunately not so much…)
