I drive a VOLVO V70 D3 automatic from the year 2017. The vehicle has the following problem regardless of weather, temperature, driving situation or other circumstances: After a few minutes driving time the instrument cluster, the on-board computer, the radio, all displays, simply everything that can be displayed electronically. In addition, the electric boot opening, as well as the indicator does not work. If I then stop, a few minutes wait with the motor switched off and with Locked doors, the error is usually gone again. Often it comes again once, twice and then rests for the rest of the ride. No error codes are filed, the battery is new and the last inspection is 6 weeks ago and even there the error was detected, but not fixed because nobody knew what to do. 2 Volvo contract workshops have already bitten their teeth and found nothing and also told me clearly that you don’t even know where you are. I need more help here in the forum, because no one can help me on the part of the manufacturer.

Injector Coding
Hello together, I have the exciting problem that Volvo can’t encode my original Bosch injectors. The Volvo system rejects a calibration. The new injectors knock something. In the environment there is no other provider that can enter the IMA codes to me. Supposedly the injectors would be outside the tolerance for “Volvo”. The injectors fit for my car, 2x tested. I can’t imagine Bosch offering injectors outside the tolerance as an OEM here. Is it possible to encode the injectors in the ECU with VDash or is there a similar problem? Thank you and greetings

Diagnostic tester for Volvo from model year 2015, Volvo Vida Dice 2014d
Here’s a question in the round. Volvo Vida Dice only works until model year 2014, there is also a possibility to read out the newer models, perform a service provision or error deletion without getting in front of the friendly one? Which device is recommended? I have a s60cc model year 2016 awd gearronic. I hope for your advice, thank you in advance. Greeting Rainer

V70 iii D4 AWD 12/2012
Good day I was torn by the V-belts at my Volvo tonight. Does anyone have any idea of what it might be like with my model? Or is it probably just a fatigue? And my timing belt has been changed at 170,000km.. should I change it when the V-belt is re-made? And in the service booklet stands at the timing belt change LF and KF and ern.. knows what that means? Dear Greetings Toni V70 iii D4 AWD 12/2012

Purchase advice Volvo XC70 D5 2012 Summum
Hello, to the background: I have been driving a Volvo V70 III 2.4D since 2010 and can hardly imagine another car that suits me like this. Nevertheless, the car now has 380,000 km down, and slowly the first zippers, the repair of which would make up a not insignificant percentage of the current value. (Servo pump +2 hoses, clutch pedal hangs now and then, cooling circuit loses slowly (cause still unknown), lateral handlebars front and an M The car is in use in Italy, where we have our second home. Now I have come across this offer in our area in Italy:https://www.subito.it/vi/581755544.htm Volvo XC70 D5 2012 Summum, 230k km, 11.500 Euro I tried the car today and at first sight did nothing about it. Everything that must have been done at the KM stand to my knowledge. Optical condition pretty good, steering and suspension feel solid. Well documented service and repairs, brand new Goodyear winter tires and an oil change/small service would also throw the owner in before the handover. Would I be pleased about opinions. Are there fundamental weaknesses in the 215 hp D5 with automatic? Or is this all comparable to the relatively carefree car life that the 2.4D with 175 hp gave us? Thank you and nice Sunday from Italy!

AGR-cooler incl. valve: current costs at Volvo
I had to replace the AGR-cooler with the AGR-valve. This cost Volvo exactly 1,625,- €. Approximately 1,200,- € went on for the parts. The car warranty took over a large part of the invoice and thus paid off for this year.

If someone had a similar problem I would be grateful for any help.

What do you think about new “assistants”?
Hello, the day before yesterday I drove with a new XC70 approx. 500km. When I left the company premises I rolled as always slowly to the barrier, suddenly the emergency brake assistant put a full braking down. Everyone in the car was scared, good that no one was driving behind us. On the way the “gift” of the track assistant was annoyed, turned off. With the corner light and rain sensor there is no improvement. Curve light still swings much too hectic back and forth, rain ensor does what he wants, sometimes unnecessarily fast, sometimes too slow. Tempomat with spacer brakes too abruptly. I could never entrust my life to such a system anyway. I tried the spacer several times. It made my heart beat faster every time instead of relaxing. It annoys you when you drive ahead. You see that the cars already brake 4-5 cars in front of the front man, but the “assistant” waits until the front man slows down and goes into the iron. The flash of the blis in the corner of the eye is also annoying. The daytime running light switched immediately to the xenon light with every underpass. I don’t know if this is so good for the life of the burners. These systems are possibly intended for older people, but I also think that diminishing skills are compensated by routine and experience. The only thing I really liked was the main-beam assistant. Up to 1-2 unb Intentional light hooves, it worked very well. PS: The D5 didn’t go any faster than 220 kmh. Greetings…

ESP or tires, looked bad compared
What an experience! This week I was at an ADAC driving safety training. And I come back completely terrified about my XC 70 model year 2014, hand circuit. I was on the test site with colleagues. Everyone in his car. From the X1 via Smart, Peugeot 508, Beetle, Skoda Yeti TV, Mazda, A class everything was there. The vehicles were all between four months and four years old. In principle I was very far behind with all tests. of course, I let a colleague drive to rule out that it is up to me. Same result. Also the ADAC man was very surprised. He controlled my tyres, the profile was ok. However, he noticed that my winter tyres from Pirelli (original of Volvo) are two years older than the vehicle itself. (They were probably already a bit around Volvo.) Without ESP, the vehicle went even further. This was fun, but I don’t feel so safe in my safe car anymore. Has anyone had similar experiences? Has someone with another tire been in a driving safety training? Greetings AussiUTE

XC70 D4 (163ps) AWD – Diesel – Regeneration
Dear Volvo drivers We have been driving an XC70 D4 AWD for a year now. Since it is my first modern diesel I have a small question for you: when does the partkeil filter regenerate? The car is EZ Nov 2014, was then a demonstration car and went to us at the beginning of March 2015 with almost 6000km. Now the car has about 20,000km on the speedometer. Up to now, the particle filter has never regenerated. Are these so long intervals or has something been done with the service? I have to worry about something. ? Otherwise the car is a lot of fun. Exception is the soft chassis, our V50 is much harder which usually speaks for the XC70. But as soon as it goes on holiday – with child and cone – so roof box and possibly wheels on the back, then the car literally flips over each shaft and tilts through the Kurevn. Like a Citroen DS. Since it is the standard comfort suspension, you can probably do nothing. Maybe it helps something to change from the 16 inch rims to 18? h at least let the car get a little harder – although the chassis remains (too) comfortable-oriented of course… sometimes we as a driver on curvy mountain roads slightly bad. I don’t know that from the V50 or the S40 (predecessor of the XC70) at all. Achcja, the same roof box and bike carrier on the V50 force it also relatively into the knees but the V50 never became a “hollywood swing” 🙂 Good driving, love greetings to the elk and thank you for tips on the particle filter in the vo Out Peter
