  • XC70 BJ 2012 Rumbling the rear axle

    The following problem with my XC70: If the car starts at 120kmh quickly uphill you notice an unpleasant vibration from the area of the rear axle. As soon as the car goes downhill or flat, the rumbling is gone. The following things could cause the behaviour: Old oil in the rear axle differential Defects Haldex coupling Porous Haldex disc (made of hard rubber) dampens the vibrations. Defects bearings in the AOC (interax differential) Evident defects wheel bearings at the rear (but can be excluded) Does anyone know this behavior? It occurs mainly in partial load operation – hardly is it quiet from the gas. Achja’s running performance is currently at 290000km. Year of manufacture is 12/2011 with the 215 hp D5 machine. Thanks

  • Cylinder head part number XC60

    Hello together, my Volvo has the problem with cooling water loss, CO2 test was positive – after that the ZKD was changed, one saw during the expansion also a notch in the seal. Juhu thought that was it, new seal pure and finished. Unfortunately no, during the test drive the water boiled again over and CO2 test positive. Now my workshop (free) meant that it is then the ZK itself. I am on the search for a head where lt. Volvo has the part number 36050523, that is the successor of 36010025, but there is only a new part for 3700 Euro. So much I have planned for a head incl. installation 🙁 After research I also come to the part number 3077365 or 31401468. Is then sold at Ebay for 1999,— Euro incl. 12 months warranty until 40tkm.Ebay Has someone an idea whether these heads fit? KFZ Leezen has only a revision in the offer for this, not in exchange. Does that work at all? I want to make it already, to change to the gear of 10, the gear – not completely – to the gear of the gear – has not to look.

  • Purchase advice Volvo V60 T5 BJ 2011

    Hello Together So far I only know the vehicles of the VW Group. I drove a Golf 6 GTI and at the moment I own a Golf 7 Variant 1.4 TSI. Unfortunately, my current problem, probably the mechatronics has to be replaced. I bought the vehicle only about 6 months ago. Since I already had problems with the 6 Golf, I want to get away from the VW Group and myself a Volvo because they obviously build very reliable vehicles. I have a Volvo V60 T5 (2.0T 240PS) in my sights, however, this seems to be an exotic, there are hardly any contributions about this car available. Does any of you have any experience with this vehicle? Kilometer level is at almost 100’000km. Is it reliable? Does it make the 200’000 loose? Known problems? Things to consider when buying? Thank you already in advance!

  • 8 gear automatic rough

    Moin together, I need your opinion about the automatic.Drive a D4 with said automatic and have following problems or I would rather say things that I don’t like. Sometimes the automatic switches very rough, especially under load are partly noticeable blows when switching. Under low load it switches softly. When overtaking on the highway from 70 to 110-120km/h it also comes after the overtaking organhg when I take the load away to unsavory switching advances. On the highway when driving strong acceleration this shows itself the same picture. But here I have rather the feeling that the switching process lasts longer and the gear when switching is dragged (says so?) and then with a jerk in it. Hard to describe. I like the 8 gear in Eco Mode under low load. However, there is the process of coupling? after sliding is partly very rough. Especially when suddenly stronger braking there is an extra blow in the neck. Has someone from you made similar experiences. Car is now 2.5 years of wisely thanks to Volvo Plus.

  • Upgrade DAB to DAB+?

    Hello together For the first time thanks to all forum users for the many tips you give. You helped me decide which XC70 with which equipment I should buy a lot. I have ordered a new XC70 summum in oyster grey with espresso-colored seats and aluminum applications. But will it take 2 Mt. to finally turn around with it… Now a question: I also got DAB installed and notice that it is “only” DAB and not DAB+. Can you do an update or have it retrofitted?     Hello, I would be interested to know how high the discounts you currently had to accept when selling your Euro 5 diesel. Background is that I want to sell a V70 D4 (163 hp), Ocean Race, accident-free, 1.Hd., hourly with 127,000 km and EZ 07/2013, since mid-December. I have not received a response on my ad at mobile.de. According to Schwackebewertung, the car has a sales value of 14.300,- € and a dealer purchase price of 11.600,- €. I have advertised the car for 12.500,- € and received so far no response. I have sold more than 30 vehicles, but I have never had so little interest. Is this actually due to the discussion about the driving bans? Which discounts must be accepted if you sell to private customers? Trüß Olaf P.S.: at Abracar the success is also no better.

  • Again a defector to XC60

    After a longer test drive I have ordered the XC 60. The forum was already a great help for me when assembling, but finally convinced/changes always a test drive.   • Cracking in the clutch pedal

    Hello, with my 6 week old V60 the clutch pedal has been cracking for 3 days when kicking and letting go just before the top end point. The friendly one has only tried to lubricate this for a while and then after consultation with the workshop master it was then there will be a call-back action shortly.
