XC60 – Set door lock
Never change a running system – I should have noticed it. After I had made the mistake during the last inspection because of draught and noise to let the front doors “adjust” go now despite rework not satisfactory anymore. i.e. you have to draw or throw with some traction force. Try makes smart, therefore I want to give myself with peace and time. Does anyone possibly know which screws to use? I find 3 starting points, which I am interested in The cover cap in the 3rd picture has been gone since the last injection, so I have the assumption that the fitters worked there.

Start problems V70 D5
Hello! The following problem: My new V70 D5 hand switch doesn’t always start. 90% of the start process works: plug in keys and press the button, hit the coupling. Engine runs. 10% does not happen. All control lights in the cockpit start, the dipped light does not start, only the engine does not start running! Pressing again has no success, take out keys and repeat process usually lead to success, but after different number of repetitions…. Do I do something wrong? Do I have to solve the electric handbrake by hand before starting? Despite the small problems (driver’s seat has also been easily solved), I am still very excited about the car. … Thanks for the answers… Karl

Sensus Connect does not connect
Dear moose community, another “overrun”. From Audi to Mercedes and now … an XC60. Supplied on Monday (D5 AWD, Polarweiss, …) and already on Thursday I know – my moose and I … we will be friends. Only in one place will the joy be clouded and I hope you can help me: Sensus Connect does not want to connect! 🙁 Both via Bluetooth coupled with my iPhone5 or via the vehicle modem the same phenomenon. The Internet connection can be easily confused under MyCar With Bluetooth pairing, the phone and music streaming work. With the vehicle modem, the WLAN hotspot can be activated and used in the vehicle. BUT: I select “Apps” or “Browser” from the Internet menu appears “Connect …” and that’s it. Stand still and I have stopped several attempts after 30 minutes. Errors occur both with an EDGE, a 3G as well as via iPhone LTE connection. Access Point is already automatically and manually configured. of course, I have activated Hotspot (my laptop can easily be brought to the Internet via Bluetooth connection to the phone). The error is transmitted to the friendly person, only there is a problem at the moment and therefore little is done in the result. Give them still until the weekend and then will have to check more. V60 – Xenon Headlight cleaning possible?
Hello all, my V60 is now soon 4 years old, has in every case run about 110,000 km. (Since it is not part of the topic, I write it in brackets: the last 22,000 km with me and absolutely problem-free. Only “macking” so far: flaps in the trunk.) Since I always ride with light, the burners now have some operating hours (>1800h), which is why I ordered new ones. So in everyday life I already notice that they are often already darker than normal light of an H7 bulb. In the meantime, my headlights are clearly fogged. Is there any way to clean them? Has anyone ever done this before? I had a SW open so far to see what kind of burners are installed. (Osram HBI D3S), I noticed that it is difficult to get to the lenses. So if I go by now to dive the burners, it would be a washing-up for me to also clean the lenses. …. Honestly, I am a little disappointed by the light of the V60 so far. — —– And one more question: When I wanted to get to the bottom of the flapper in the trunk, I cleaned everything up once. I noticed a measuring device (?) which is located pretty much behind the right back seat and from which a short tube reaches into the trunk. Does anyone know what that is?

Loading edge protection V70 III MJ2015
Servus Gemeinde After I was allowed to pick up my new bell yesterday, I had to find out unfortunately that Volvo once again saved everywhere.The trunk floor was previously held in the upper position by means of gas pressure dampers and the second level below could be hung on the upper trunk gasket by means of a fabric band (for example, to be able to remove the emergency wheel).The gas pressure damper is gone – the floor can only enter by means of the fabric tape above The second floor below can no longer be fixed (i.e. when removing the emergency wheel you have to do this with one hand ….. Thank you, Volvo!). Furthermore, the lumbar vertebrae support – which is only included in the electric seat adjustment. Also saved – and that is the real reason of this post – was the loading edge protection. Since I had a dark plastic strip at the rear before is only normal paint – very vulnerable f for scratches when loading and unloading (see pictures). Now the question: Does anyone have experience with protective films as protection? Who can be recommended? What did you pay for a set of winter tyres and rims – e.g. for 19 inch XC60
Hi, I need a set of winter tyres on Alufelge for my D5 AWD. Is there a good action for the friendly or is it worth looking more at tyresDirect and consorts? At ReifenDirekt I would currently pay around about 1200 EUR (19 inches on falcons). I realize that there are some differences depending on the type of tyre and rim. One price orientation is enough for me completely. I just want to know if it is basically good to wait for offers from the Volo dealer Or not?

My V60 stinks like a muddy basement
Hi, everybody, I have something funny. As in the subject, my V60 smells like a muddy wet room. For that there are x explanations what that could be. But: It only starts to skimp when I open a window or the sunroof. During the ride, the Mief stays. I close the windows, the Mief is gone after a short time. Was today at . He peeked, and after the test drive quite baffled. Then you can place the car, sniff everywhere and you smell, nothing. It only happens when you drive! Has someone already experienced this? p.s. Yes, I know. I can only drive with a closed vehicle……
