Hello Volvo community I ordered a new XC60 on September 24th. We were informed of a delivery date with approx. mid-January 2016. With the order number I am in “My Volvo” every day watching what is happening with my car. So far only the status “Ordered” now my questions: – Is it normal that after about 12 weeks there is no further status yet? – How long do the production or delivery to the dealer take then? – I also read that the selection from “Lenkradheizung” as an accessory has another waiting time -is that right ? – How serious can you take these status messages at all ? I am constantly reading along in this forum and of course highly nervous that my new one should come soon. Can someone tell me about experiences with “My Volvo”. Thanks in advance LG Christian

Hello municipality. I may be planning to buy a Volvo up to approx. 20,000 euros by August/September. Since I don’t know about Volvo, my question is the first one IS A REINRASSIGN VOLVO? So not such a Renault engine as in my V40 (doesn’t want to talk badly) but I would like to know if there is an ECHING Volvo?!? What can you recommend me? I drive about 20,000 Tkm a year. Have no wife and no children who need a lot of space BUT…. I am 193c m tall and sporty stature and yes where there is a little more space for my size ^^ Many friends or acquaintances go to this trend after all these SUVs like zb Bmw X5, Audi Q7 etc. Quite honestly I don’t follow this trend because I am just as good a limousine or also Coupe completely enough. I have to admit that I like the xc60 very well, just like the Range Rover Evoque. I don’t want to buy a BMW or Audi because it’s just cars everyone drives and I’m not a 08 15 Type no matter how premium these brands are What would you say or are there still this real Volvo without engines that other brands like Zb Renault or VW have produced? Evening together, need your help. I had an appointment today with my friendly to let the DAB+ module rest for my V70 model 2016. The preparation was available with me, I had already checked this 1 year ago in the old My Volvo portal. That was still going on… Also in the trunk looked, the fiber optic bridge and the connection cables are under the back seat or the panel. I thought everything was no problem, the warehouseman had the module before half a year ago. r has also been looking out to determine the price, as far as ok. Hello! We are planning to purchase an XC60 and since we have bought from private in the past, I’m thinking about whether it makes sense to take an OBD module with me for inspection. It would be enough if the most important error data were displayed, changing settings is not necessary. Is there something recommended that is not too expensive and does not have to be installed on a notebook? I was thinking of a module with Bluetooth and associated app. and can say something about it? in the manual it is explained that with the start/stop automatic also the DrivE functions are activated at the same time – it is done so, so whether start/stop includes DrivE. However, I do not want to have these funny fuel saving devices turned on (more tougher gas assumptions etc.) – now my question: all models have with manual transmission Start/stop automatic – but only one model is called DrivE. So the D5 has this DrivE stuff though in the model name not so or does he only have the Start/Stop automatic? 2. if he only has the Start/Stop automatic: do I still have a button at the place where the DrivE button is otherwise to deactivate the Start/Stop automatic? and which message appears then in the display (in the instruction is always only the “DriveE Logo” 3. if the D5 has the DrivE stuff – can it be deactivated (if necessary by the dealer) so that the Start/Stop automatic works but the other stuff peeled off is it?

Hello, I’m thinking of buying an XC60. Now I’ve closed two in the short choice. Once with 181 hp and once with 190 hp. Is there a clear recommendation? The driving performance is almost identical. To the vehicles, both have 60,000 km on the clock. The 181 hp version 1500€ is cheaper and only three months older. For that, it is better equipped with 190 hp. What do you think? Is the jacket like pants or is a motor better or more stable than the other?

MoinMoin and Hello, I would like to be the new one at the Volvo XC60 Forum and intend to buy tomorrow afternoon an XC60 model 156 D5 (220hp) with only 45,000 km on the speedometer, EZ 2016, for at least 33.800.- €. On the stage the brake disc thickness was measured at the front with 27.5 mm, at the rear with 21.2 mm. My question, how strong are new brake discs and what strength is considered as a wear limit for changing? As the price seems a bit happy, I would like to judge how short-term (of course This is due to my driving style and other factors) the replacement of brake discs and possibly brake blocks, oh yes, residual thickness of the blocks 6mm, to come to me.
