Hello, unfortunately I couldn’t find anything meaningful about this with the search: Has someone ever bothered to compare the data sheets of the currently available 0W20 engine oils with Volvo release (for VEA engines; VCC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 specification)? Which would be the “best” (if you can say so at all)? My VEA T5 needs an oil change shortly, but I definitely don’t want to use the expensive oil of the workshop. The market currently produces at least the following alternatives: – Castrol EDGE Professional V 0W-20 – LiquiMoly SPECIAL TEC V 0W-20 – Ravenol EFS EcoFullSynth 0W-20 – Motul Specific RBS0-2AE 0W-20 – Mobile Super 3000 Formula VC 0W-20 – TOTAL QUARTZ 9000 V-Drive 0W-20 – FUCHS TITAN GT1 PRO V XTL 0W-20 – ROWE HIGHTEC SYNT RSV SAE 0W-20 – Shell Helix Ultra Professional AS-L 0W-20 – REPSOL ELITE EVOLUTION VCC 0W-20 As well as the following “no-name” oils: – Eurofluids Formula VC Professional 0W-20 – High Pe rformer 0W-20 VOLVO – DBV Volvo VCC 0W-20 – NOVONOL Premium LL IV 0W-20 Have you had any positive or negative experiences with one of the oils mentioned above? How did the Volvo workshops react to their own oil?

XC60 BJ 2011 – Coolant disappears/cooks + pressure on hose!!
Hello dear community, I bought the following Volvo: XC60 I 2.0 – D3/D4 – 163PS – Diesel First registration 2011 Unfortunately I bought the car from a fraudster (KM stand was turned down from over 300tsd to 110tsd). The car is still running great, but I have the following problem (date at Volvo partner workshop only from 26 July possible!!!): When driving lights up from time to time that cooling water is low and the car should be parked immediately. However, the Then suddenly again. If you stop, a lot of pressure has always been on the hose. The level of the water was then always below minimum. When carefully opening the lid of the cooling water, then always air came out, so air pulls and has a pressure. Then the stand goes up again to almost maximum. Meanwhile, however, the water also cooks extremely, which is why we worry. This time he also loses cooling water, so that we always refill. Has someone with it already He What could it be about? Should you wait for Volvo? Is it worth a repair, since the car actually only has a value of 2-3 thousand euro(?)? Maybe I can find someone who has a little more information about my problem. Thank you!

Volvo V60 roof rack without railing (Pro & Contra)
Hello everyone, I have to get a new V60 😉 In the meantime there are a lot of day registrations on the market. Many of them no longer have roof rails. I transport very often 2 kayaks on the car roof in the summer. The dealers think that all this would be no problem, even without railing with the original roof racks of Volvo (see picture). Has someone already had experience in this regard and there was any damage to the roof or paint??? Greeting Pit

Kaufberatung – V70 III with how much km mileage is still acceptable for less than 10,000 €
Friends of the Swedish long-distance runners, sometimes a question in the round, which can of course hardly be answered at all: I am looking for a V70 III for less than 10,000 €. In any case I imagine a diesel, D3 or D4, but I am flexible. Like momentum upwards. Apart from outliers, they all have between 175,000 km and 225,000 km on the clock. Of course, the engine may have just entered there, but chassis etc have it all on the hump. There is not necessarily any wear and tear with care and maintenance. In the end, used cars were advised to buy at most with 125,000 kilometers running… In short: What do you think?

I finally got my V60 🙂
Hello together, I wanted to introduce myself briefly after there are already some posts by me regarding purchase advice. After my Ford Focus incl. me was shot from a gyro by someone who thought he still managed to get into the gyro before me, the chapter Ford was finished with a total damage and the search for a fit V60 intensified. The search for a V60 occurred about 1 year ago, since I happened to drive an 181 HP D4 before I actually tried my test drive. The V60 was standing at a dealer around the corner so that this turned out. Since that time I was fixed, but no time. Since I drive max. 15,000 km a year, it should be a gasoline truck, said, done, test drive with a T3. It was fine but the last spark has not skipped from the force. Then the search for a T4 started, which was like a needle in the haystack. Then the said accident and it had to go quickly, there was then a new pass. the diesel is an alternative again. 2 x D4 and 1 x D5 were driven within 14 days. The decision was a lot ultimately on the D4 with Polestar performance optimization, which was of course 650 km away, but he did it to me 😉 D4 with 200 hp Year 03/2017 Kilometer: 7,200 km So and now there are pictures on winter tires

V60 BJ 2015/16 T3 or T4?
Hello together, after my choice for the new car fell on a V60 I drove first the D4 (190 hp).The engine, however, I agreed to the current diesel situation and my annual max. 15,000 km away from the diesel.Today I drove the T3 (152 hp), super engine and actually happy. However, I did not drive it under full load.My fear is that it is a little too weak, how are your experiences? The T4 (190 hp) is in the Consumption according to net identical, does that fit? Then would that speak against the T3?!

Volvo XC60 buy and experiences and tips
Hello Volvo fans, Volvo driver, mechanic and motor-talk member, I want to become a Volvo-te and get me an XC60. For me and my partner and two children the XC60 would be an ideal vehicle. Unfortunately there is a large selection of XC60 with very different KM numbers. My focus is currently on the following data: Volvo XC60 BJ 2012 – 2014 PS 163 Tank: Diesel Equipment: Summum Kilometer: max 150 tkm Preferred transmission: Automatic Current favorite is a BJ 2012er m it 166 tkm around € 20.500. The car dealership offers me for free a 4-fold winter tire and a free tooth change. What do you think of this offer? I also found an XC60 with only 117 tkm and BJ 12/2012, but this is a switch. How are the experiences from 166 tkm? What do I have to pay and would you prefer to pay 2000€ more and then have only 100tkm or rather press the price and accept the 166 tkm for it? Thank you for your tips and advice Chliege im Voraus. Best regards, Chris

Volvo V70 III 2.4D 181 HP: Cooling water loss and heating poor
Hello in the round, I’m new here! I have a Volvo V70, year 2016, 2.4 Diesel. 3 months ago the engine had to be changed, as there was a small crack in the hull and thus oil loss. I bought an engine from an accident car, which is said to have run 70,000 km. My workshop (free workshop with a very good reputation here in the area) has installed the engine. Now there is a new problem: I have to refill cooling water continuously, about 1 liter to 200 km on average. D In addition, the heating power is very bad, almost not available. Even after a journey of 50 km there is more cold than warm air, even if the controllers are on HI, so maximum heating power should be given. There is no leakage to recognize, the workshop has already filled in cooler density. Since the spare engine had no cylinder head, all sealants, thermostat and cooling water pumes have also been renewed. No “white smoke” on the exhaust can be noticed. is that behind the dashboard on the passenger side it “bubberts”, but also not always. Idea of my workshop: buy engine number 3 and install it. If someone has an idea for further troubleshooting or limitation, I would like to thank you for an answer at this point!

Help I am unsure about a purchase!!! Volvo V70 D4
Hello together, we are a family with two children and soon a dog. At the moment we drive a VW Touran from Bj. 06 and the 1.6 liter motörchen! Now Papa has almost established himself and recommended to the family a V70 D4 Euro 6 automatic from 07/2014 with 90tKm and a summum equipment from the dealer first hand. In the equipment is everything I need e.g. pieper front/back, sliding roof, dynamic suspension control, ambient lighting, bi-xenon, cornering light, children’s sit ze, car. tailgate, cruise control, heatable windshield, leather, electric seat adjustment, downhill assistance … I could continue to do so until tomorrow. On a first test drive with a similar vehicle I was able to convince my wife (was at first very skeptical, quote: “Volvo? How, why Volvo and not Audi or BMW. But looks nice.” The children were upset! Now to my questions to experienced drivers of such a beautiful vehicle: How reliable is the vehicle? How reliable is the vehicle? What are the costs for inspections or repairs? How much is the consumption? What can you gain for other experiences? We are looking for a reliable and affordable, safe car! The car must hold and should not be susceptible to repairs. Family halt! I look forward to your contributions and will inform you about my purchase decision here!

On Call App spins totally
Hello municipality, I’ve been doing the following: for two days, nothing is going on with the on-call app. It displays unlocked, no matter if the vehicle is locked or unlocked, flashing, horning, starting heating is not possible at all. “Stand heating is started” rumbles for several minutes over the blue bar, then “could not be started in red”. Manually starting in the vehicle. Diagnosis of the app says: Everything works perfectly. Unfug, nothing works. Car has reception, mobile phone has network. someone has had the problem before and maybe even solved it? Help:-/
