Hello together, I am facing the decision to buy an XC60 as an annual car or not. Consider whether a waiting for the new XC60 is worthwhile. Currently the prices for Jaheswagen for the D4 are between 35k and 43k, depending on the equipment. Let’s assume (realistic example) the vehicle NP was 60k and is now, after a year, at 40k, at 20000 driving km. Is it assumed that the prices for annual cars for the new XC60, which is probably coming next summer, are similar? Or are the current prices rather strongly discounted, because exit model etc.? If the used cars prices tend to be higher or even significantly higher, a wait is not worthwhile for me. Just as example: With the new Mercedes GLC 250 the ratio is like this: NP 55k, after a year 45k. VG

Ask the Mod`s: how is the Volvo Forum organized when the XC60 comes?
Hello Volvianer, hello moderators, in the autumn comes the XC60. When does a subforum exist ? All XC`s come into ONE forum (makes me think) or are XC90 and XC60 in separate forums ? Or how should this be organized in the future ? There would be the following variants : 1) all XC`s no matter which model, which year of construction, in ONE forum 2) only the newer ones from 2007 in ONE forum 3) for all XC no matter which year of construction A main forum, in it subforums for the individual models (as with BMW X series) 4) still platform-dependent forums (PKW,KOMBIs and XCs of the same platform come into the same forum), would mean that today’s XC90ers are in other forums than the coming from 2009. And the XC60ers anyway in other forums (beim V50 or at V70 or somewhere else ???) Maybe a mod already has an idea or sometimes a survey ? Also the Mercedes GLK is coming in the autumn, there were the more Mod`s on forum and have already set up for the same thing.

V70 III 3.2 Exhaust system
moin also, drive with undercalculations for 15 years Volvo 850 /V70I T5 and now I have ordered the new V70 III with the 3.2 L engine. To my choice was BMW 530 and Audi A6 3.2 not only because of my good experiences from the past (I have also driven BMW for a long time) but also because of the optics (yes, I know there is a topic of dispute among Volvo drivers) the Volvo. One point was also the rear view with the two tailpipes in aluminium optics shown in the brochures. Even after consultation with the purchase end of 2007 I was assured that the system is that way. The configurator on the Volvo HP proved this to be the case. So now the new one came and I have to find out that the system is no longer visible, so the tailpipes run under the rear apron. I am rather disappointed and consider whether I will take the car at all. Who has the same experience and can tell me how Volvo reacted to it? Did I actually have a right as a buyer to the equipment as the HAGES would be offered during the sale?

Driving performance V70III 2,4D; 163 hp
Also at the risk that I’m annoying: My problem with the bad acceleration of the engine still exists. Am now almost 5000 km driven. On Friday the seller made a test drive with me. Backwind, 215 km/h peak. On the counterroad (ergo headwind) we unfortunately could not quite as well as we wanted. So as a try failed. Unfortunately the master is currently sick. With that I would of course like to talk about it. He took the defect indicator two weeks ago without complaint. Still no reaction from Volvo. This morning highway, counterwind, 6th gear, the Tachonadel scratches after troublesome start at the 200 and I hardly think my eyes look past: They fall back to 195 km/h. I was alone, without luggage. Did not at Heico-Tuning on the Internet http://www.heicosportiv.de/mainframe.asp? Of course, I have used the same speed again.

Experiences Highlight Assistant
Dear Volvistis, the days are getting shorter again. Time for light on the vehicle. That’s why my question, what experience have you gained with the high-light assistant? On some midnight trips I have had the experience that weak taillights are captured by the sensor very late. Likewise, the sensor reacts sensitively with counterlights – but sometimes too late. Then the oncoming traffic appears. That the operation of the assistant on motorways is meaningless because of the weak position lights on the roof of the truck approaching: gifted. The disc in front of the sensor is always “fly-free”. Now I ask myself, can you have the sensitivity of the sensor regulated by software? Otherwise short copy after 30 thousand km in about five months: everything works perfectly. Detailed report soon. Spreewald-Volvo: at night unfortunately always rare only on the slopes

I did it – and I cheated!
Hello together, after a year it was time for a new vehicle again. After V50 2.4i and S80 D5 AWD a new vehicle should come – but this time it was not a Volvo….. On the new S80 I was disturbed by various little things, which Volvo did not get in control: -Radio loses after standstill the transmitter and needs 30-40 s to find this again -old RTI-Navi, still much slower than in the V50 -PDC that last beeps when someone passes by the intersection -to soft leather seats tbc…. So, after long consideration and various test rides was ordered then today: VW Passat CC 2.0 TDI 125 KW with DSG in Icelandic-grey perfect sport seats electric with air conditioning side airbags and belt stretcher rear Climatronic decor alu brushed backside winter package + seat heating rear tinted disks xenon-curve driving light + coming home electric mirror, automatically faded off with a battery RIN 10.

Alternatives to the XC60-D5-AWD ?
Hello Volvo fans, was here a few months ago longer (other user name) and already had the purchase contract for an XC60-D5-AWD on the table … but then it became a C5-240Hdi (with the ingenious V6-PSA-Ford-Diesel, as it can be found at JLR). Now I have moved and absolutely need an all-wheeler to get home in winter (Waldweg with >10% incline) the following fixed conditions: 1) SUV due to convenient entry/exit and overview (all “normal” cars with all-wheels out of view, also an XC70 or Audi all-road) 2) gears (=>GLK and many others out) 3) stand heating available from factory (=>X1+X3 and many small SUVs out) As far as I have explored the market, remains as an alternative to the XC60: – Q5 Diesel/Benziner – Tiguan-Diesel (no standhzg at the gasoline) – RR?

Can any company program coolant and oil temperature into the BC at the V60?
Unfortunately, the V60 no longer has a coolant temperature indicator – not to mention an oil thermometer. Volvo has no solution available, I have already requested from Heicosportiv – no chance! Does anyone know perhaps a company that could program the Tempis into the BC? is available via OBD anyway, so should technically not be a larger sample, right?

Gearbox Reduced function warranty ?
Hello municipality, yesterday we were surprised on the highway, with the error mentioned in the title. We bought the car there 10 months ago from a Volvo dealer. After Volvo Assistance sent us the ADAC, the yellow has read out the error memory and recognized a time error in the circuit and meant that a new software has to be installed there (as described in the other forum contributions) Well my question… Is this one thing that still has to be repaired by the Volvo dealer (where I bought the car) or do I have to pay for it myself? What would such an update cost ? Thank you for your help ! Greeting from the Baltic Sea

Display “Sign in for maintenance”
For a few days now, I have started my daily journeys with a hint on the display, which would like to remind me of an upcoming maintenance date. This maintenance is due in about 8 weeks or 5000km. I wonder who has now thought up this nonsense again. I realize that a reminder is useful, but at every start and almost 2 months before? Those who have kept themselves to all maintenance intervals so far are now punished by annoying warning messages, because those who have not taken it so precisely should get another hurdle in the way. One way to delete the message by keyboard combinations is apparently not, only the gear to the or does someone have a tip on this?
