After having given me the 20ér Heico ́s for my R, I came across 2-3 comments in the forum which were about the reinforcement set. But it was always unclear whether this is about steering limiters or whether it is something else. My friend did not know this either but after he bitsl researched through a whitening on the originals 20ér rims smarter ( see picture ) What would interest me is if the normal XC60 the reinforcements already from factory in it have or is Volvo assuming that this is also how it works/holds Volvo ID 31316842 The [https://www.google.de/url?…] link is the Volvo instructions for installation [/url].

Climate compressor defective?
Hi, every time I do my climate, a speed-dependent noise starts after a few seconds. Depending on the speed, it is louder or quieter to hear. It sounds like a bearing has given up its mind. It’s a (multi-voiced?) “blow”. It always stops for a few seconds, and then comes back. It’s best to hear in the driver’s seat. In the engine compartment it’s impossible to hear. If I turn the power of the ventilation almost down / off, the noise is gone. It sounds like a fast-rotating part is losing turns. It’s also to be heard with stationary gas. The climate cools by the way. Did it fill up a few weeks ago. Leak test has not been done. The noise during the ride is really annoying. Driving is not fun anymore…. What can this be? An acquaintance said it’s the magnetic clutch, ….. It’s a V70III from 2008 with about 126000km. Thanks for your help. Greetings Thomas

DAB experiences welcome // DAB+
Hello together, I would be interested in what experiences you have had with DAB. I live in NRW / Remscheid and here is actually one of the best areas from the coverage. However, my experiences are rather mixed. I drive my new elk since mid-July. At first I had a super reception – e.g. 1Live comes over in a very good quality. If you switch between DAB and VHF a clear difference is audible (1Live has on VHF in this comparison auc h had a good reception). The reception was only bad with DAB when I was in Cologne under the cathedral in the parking garage! However, I noticed that I didn’t have a reception at all late in the evening / at night – and indeed from no transmitter. Is this all still running in the test operation? This morning station search started and the result were several mostly foreign stations with poor reception quality. Does my radio sound? Or are you just as dissatisfied? I also heard, that DAB+ is only a new codec, which should guarantee good quality even at lower bitrates. Does anyone know if the currently delivered radios already support this codec? Germany is well known in European comparison rather a developing country – at least when it comes to digital radio reception.

From BMW to VOLVO?
Hello guys, I own a 2011 BMW 3 Series and I’m really happy. While browsing in Autoscout I got a great offer, a VOLVO XC60 with good equipment, little kilometers, for 16.500€ With suvs in general I had good experience before my BMW I drove a Chevy blazer for 11 years. At that time there were almost no suvs you could decide between toyota, nissan, chevrolet and 2 or 3. With volvo I have no experience at all, am only once with m a neighbor in his XC90 couldn’t make a real impression on me. Does Volvo have a good long-term quality and can anyone tell me about his experience with the XC60? Should I take the jump on the XC60 or keep my BMW

V70 III Is there a recommended model year
Hello Elk colleagues, the V70 has now reached the end of its production cycle. My question would be: Is there any argument which MY would be the most recommended one? For me, reliability, material quality, susceptibility to defects would play the leading role. Which equipments that were added during the course of the model cycle (Bps. Start(Stop) would rather not be recommended and/or rather cause problems? I would be very interested in your assessments/experiences/opinions. power70

Engine control lights on, car doesn’t pull
Hello, this morning I was on the road in my V70 D5 and on the way home my car suddenly no more herring pulled off the plate. – Call at the Volvo-Assistance and 1 1/2 h later the ADAC stood on the mat. Error memory read out, result 2 error codes, namely air mass meters and AGR valve. So LMM plugged off, engine control lights up, car pulls a little better, but not really right. LMM plugged in again, car pulls as before, but control lights bl The LMM could have a defect? I had something like that on my Scorpio a few years ago. At that time, I changed the thing and it was good. I had a problem with the LMM.

215ps D5? Heico rear silencer? What are your experiences??
because the esd of heico irritates me because of the optics right now! I wanted to ask for your experiences, what do you think of the esd! Was there any sound growth? I always hear two things: the one says yes, the other no! I could hear only one myself, but this was cold and the motor was turned only up to 1500 turns

Curve light too slow – is there any change?
During the last car change in the last early summer (XC70 used; model year 2013) I bought a specimen with cornering light. I notice: I promised myself too much of it, especially for the nocturnal pass rides. On the simple country road curves this is to some extent useful, but in the bends at the pass the things do not use too much. They simply move too slowly. Something is not optimal at the control from speed, steering impact and lamp movement. The lamps only get really into the curve when I am almost around and when I’m driving again, they come back “mighty”. Of course I know about physics – lamps have mass and mass is reluctant to move. But nevertheless the question is asked: Is there no gifted software “Tuner” that screws around a bit at the steepness of the movement curve, i.e. especially with some high steering angle for more determined movement of the lamps? (Good if the car does not have a bigger one?) has problems than that…)

XC60 Navi – No information at Autobahnkreuzen
Hello I drive an XC60 MJ 2017, two months old. The navigation system noticed the following: I drive on the highway and approach a motorway junction. In this case I expect from the Navi a support (text note, track note, sign note) to be able to decide in which direction I have to go. Usually this is a “right or left” decision. Or “left or straight or right”. My Navi usually remains completely silent, not a single hint, nothing, nada. Only very rarely does the expected support actually appear by means of trace or sign information. Solving the solution so far – Map updated (by dealer) – Infotainment system updated (by dealer) – In the menu of the Navis all settings configured appropriately Does anyone have experience with this problem? Thank you very much, Peter

Volvo XC60 resistance in the steering ca. 500 m then away
Moin, I bought a used Volvo xc60 2.4D DRIVe 2 months ago BJ. 2009. I always have the problem that the steering seems to block in the morning. If you turn on the steering wheel when you start driving, you notice a not insignificant resistance, up to a certain point where it feels like you are overcoming the blockage and from there the steering to stop is normal again, impact in the other direction the same problem. The problem is after about 500m and 3-4 times steering in the warm state absolutely no problems are noticeable, only makes itself noticeable if the car has stood at times good 8 hours, for example overnight. Has anyone ever had a similar problem?
