Hello friends of stylish automobiles, can someone tell me how/where I can read out the soot filter stand in ViDa without having to start various speeds? I drive a V70 III, with the PSA motörchen D4162T, i.e. 1.6l TDI. Model year 2012. Does anyone have experience? This must simply be stored as a questionable value in the ECM. What I could find so far was a detection of the soot filter load with various engine speeds (ev. approximately 15-20sec. keep constant).

Temperature sensor new XC60
I have bought a new XC60 D4 VEA and am very satisfied with it. However, the outside temperature indicator is a bit strange: If the car is only in the sun for a short time, the indicator shows far too high values (sometimes over 10 degrees too much). The values are not significantly more precise even during the journey. At least in urban traffic the indicator deviates permanently and significantly from the actual temperature. Without solar radiation the indicator seems to work correctly. It’s clear that the body heats up when the car is in the sun, but I don’t know such strong deviations from my previous cars. At least the display normalized a few minutes after the start of the journey also in stop-and-go traffic in the city. At the XC60, on the other hand, the display increases by a further 1-2 degrees after the start of the journey. What are your experiences?

Michelin Alpin 7
Due to the age after almost 10 years I am superior to getting new winter tires.The old Piirellis still have almost 6mm profile but just 10 Jahe old.The Michelin Alpin 7 came into the short choice. But now comes on the side of Michelin the hint because of the speed index. Original are indeed 235/60 R18 103V mounted. The new would have 235/60 R18 107 H. Do you do something wrong with the Michelin 7? Would that be allowed and legally compliant?

Red warning light and battery indicator flashes randomly
Hello I have a Volvo v70 2.5 station wagon. I had problems with the alternator. This was broken and a factory town has built in a new one. After that everything worked and the car ran again perfectly. After about 2-3 weeks the red warning light and the battery sign lit up in the stand at the traffic light. when I started driving the display was gone again immediately. So I didn’t really think about it. The problem came open again and again and I went back to the factory The factory town meant that the problem happens by chance so again and again they can not really test it and I should not think about it because it only occurs in the stand. Well, the answer is not really satisfactory. I’m not even sure if the WErkstadt has tested anything. But well. My question now I can find out for myself what this problem is or test anything to find out the mistake?

300% more expensive parts in the Volvo car dealership?
Moin values moose owner. I bought 2 weeks ago used v70 2.5T 231 hp from private, but when driving from the farm came 2 messages: ABS/DSTC TYPE REQUIREMENTS AND LIGHT DETERMINATION CAPITAL So I go back and he says: “No, let this be done at volvo, I still pay that.” All clear, according to self diagnosis (icarsoft) an ABS sensor at the front right. But as discussed I drive to Volvo Autohaus Lauff and I almost drop the chinlade down…. orstroke from Volvo: 800€ among other things almost 300€ for a front wheel scar 75€ for the sensor. Is that normal? I screw on my cars actually, but since we have the agreement I drove to the car dealership. Oil filter housing lid – small seal inside
Hello all, at my Volvo V70 T5 VEA (2015) I tried to change the small internal seal in the lid of the oil filter case, too. However, it was impossible to use the new seal, since the movable (apparently spring-bearing) outer shaft could not be pressed back accordingly. Therefore, I then assembled the whole thing without this small sealing ring. A new oil filter cover is already ordered, so that all of this again its Ric My question would now be, what is this seal intended for inside and if I can still drive safely with the vehicle until another exchange? At least no oil comes outside. Unfortunately, I did not take a photo of the part, but found a picture of a lid on the Internet and marked the place where the said seal sits red. Many greetings!

Hi, I have now got the VLinker MC Dongle and the Car Scanner app. Question about the stored errors: I have read only errors from’m archive: Quotation: [P3/VEA] Engine control unit[P3/VEA] Engine control unit DTCs: 6 —————————— P00BD(00) [0x00BD00] Archive (inactive) Mass air flow (MAF) sensor A – circuit range/performance Status: Test failed since the last deletion of the error codes (DTC codes), test did not complete during this operation cycle Mi t Bosch ESItronic from the Volvo screwdriver saw this as an active error (see Appendix) How do you see it, can’t it be that the app is more precise than ESItronic?!

Farewell to the V70: Total damage
At the end of February, my wife and I had a violent accident on the A3 during hostage wind due to snow smoothing, were on the left track, which was suddenly not very clear, thereby getting into the slingshot, slinging across the middle lane, there came a truck, which then turned us and then impact into the middle guard plank. Thank God nothing happened, but the V70 is unfortunately a total damage But it proved to be again, how sure a Volvo is, the The front car has captured the entire impact energy, the passenger cell is completely undamaged, the airbags have not opened and all the gaping mass of the doors are unchanged. Great. I had brought the vehicle home at my own expense, could not accept that it should now be scrapped. But, it is and remains there, it is unfortunately no longer worth it (damage lies according to expert at approx. 1500€) and now the V70 heavy heart has to go away. So, if someone is interested in the vehicle… (V70 3.2 Summum EZ 6/2007, auxiliary heating, sliding roof, seat heating + seat ventilation, BLIS, 4C chassis, 161000km) But stay true to Volvo, after unfortunately no V70 petroler with the equipment I wanted to find, it has now become a 2015 S80 T5 summum. Retrofit XC70 rear view camera?
Hello, drive an XC70 Mod. 2012 with very good equipment. Only from the rear camera the dealer had advised me when ordering – probably was afraid that the list price would exceed my expectations otherwise. Now I wonder if I can not retrofit it? Parking sensors at the front and back, RTI and Sensus also available. Does anyone have reliable information? Foreign manufacturer is canceling. Either integration into the existing system, or I don’t… Thanks for your advice.

Import Xc70 from Holland
Hello together, have been looking for a new station wagon for a while and after a test drive I fell in love with the rather unreasonable T6 engines. However, I had already given up finding a T6 Inscription V70 or XC70 after my “wanting car” was sold elsewhere. They are not exactly standing at every corner. But now I have found one again at mobile, but in Holland. ~400km are unbelievably, but doable, condition and paint / interior look very neat on the pictures. 15k Euro for a 10 year old car I still find wild, but these are apparently the prices you have to pay for used cars. I would have bought the last one for 13.5, he then went to someone else who paid almost by “telephone bid” 14k just before Christmas. Say, the Dutchman would be another candidate. Apparently it is not so difficult to get a car from Holland, actually the question arises, Trailer o the Dutch export mark – but I’ve never done this before. Has any of you had any experience with importing from Holland? Especially when the seller is a private person? Is it possible to get on with English on a Dutch office? Or is it better to leave it all and do as much as possible only here? So, sign off the seller’s car, transfer the car with trailer and pay Volvo 200 euros for new COC papers?
