Dear XC90 Forum, today it was so far I bought an XC 90 with 59,900 Km. Year of construction 6/2004 the car is first hand and a retired vehicle (see the documentation, check booklet and invoice). Get it delivered tomorrow, all inspections were carried out by the previous owner. It is my first SUV and I am surprised how well the car drives, almost like a car, at least this was my first impression on the short distance. (except for the turning circle) Since I own I am very satisfied with my choice and can hardly wait for it. Now I am looking forward to the suggestions and information in this forum. Ok, have bored you now enough! Greetings Jürgen

Again a purchase recommendation (S80 TDI)
Hello guys, a colleague of mine would like to buy it:http://www.brauchtwagen.at/detailansicht.php?id_fahrzeug=1778507 What do you think? Is the Audi TDI recommended? What do we have to pay attention to when visiting/testing? When to change the ZR? Are there known weaknesses? Thank you already!!! LG, Nordisk.

New tyres S80 summer tyres
After my summer tires are as good as down, I have a question to the municipality: My elk is equipped with aluminium rims “Thor” with tyres Pirelli in the dimension 225/50 ZR 17. There are the good Pirelli P 6000 on it. I was very satisfied with the flaps. Now I looked at the following tires at reifen-direkt.de: P 7 225/50 R17 98Y XL AO BSW Is this the successor model of the P6000???? These should cost instead of 329,50 EUR only 173,40 EUR per piece. Is sure a super tyre, can you recommend it? What do you have on it for tyres (the question is also addressed to all V70 riders) with which you have had good experiences???? Do you know a better Internet dealer???????????????????? is the fun for me almost 700,00 EUR. Is the good Conti Sport Contact 2 or 3 better suited for my moose????????? I am looking for the optimum!!! It should not fail on the money! Christian

Shut down the passenger seat completely?
Hello dear forum members! I’m new here, and yes I will introduce the Dickelch here soon, as soon as the weather allows some nice photos again. I’ve had the XC90 for two weeks and wanted to check if I can transport an overlong package if I change the passenger seat. According to RTFM this should be quite easy and the headrest of the passenger seat should disappear under the glove compartment.(So I also knew this from my V40) Unfortunately the Beif Do not push your seat far enough to the rear so that the headrest would fit even close to the dashboard. Is this now due to the electrically adjustable passenger seat, or do the headrests with RSE build higher? How is this for you? Can the seat be completely folded down – or is this a ‘luxury problem’? Just for the sake of completeness: XC90 D5 Executive, MJ2012 Thank you very much

Volvo XC90, off-road driving characteristics
Hello friends I’ve been playing with the idea of buying me an XC90 Diesel for a long time. However, in relation to the nucation next to the long distance I need a vehicle, which is also really in the terrain, i.e. use in the forest with partly bad paths and deep morass, intended. So the vehicle is not used on the flange mile, but it will eat many kilometers and drive from and to times through the forest under partly very bad conditions. Now my question: Taugt d he AWD for these missions, i.e. he is robust enough, or are the affected components quite sensitive. As an alternative I would like a Land Rover, but that is not so good on the highway. A car with AWD only for the highway makes no sense anyway. Thank you for many good and constructive messages. MfG Klaus

Slutty at the Friendly?!
Hello together, I had new winter tyres raised today in a workshop. FYI: Yes, I followed the advice of many instead of 215/55/R16 (my summer tyres) and took 205/55/R16, more precisely the Dunlop Winter Sport 3D. Let’s see how the tyres will be made … When I picked up my moose tonight, I got the hint to have the brake fluid changed urgently (!!!), the measuring device showed deep orange – red. Funny however: about 2 weeks ago I had a In a friendly way let the 140k inspection be carried out and according to the protocol is the brake fluid i.o. Who says here the untruth ??? sales trick of the tyre dealer (I don’t think rather) or slurry with the friendly (probably rather). If you don’t do everything yourself … Greeting Jan … the morning first will demand a statement from the friendly …

XC-90 updates for the annual festival?
Our big guy will be celebrating his first birthday soon and the first inspection at the friendly one is due. Now my question: who can say what about updates for the Mj. 06, preferably with the corresponding key numbers, so that the master of the friendly one does not even come up with the idea to say that any of it is not possible. It would also be important to us the function of the autom. closing ZV after driving. To the moose itself gives a lot of light with little shadow. About the light b We do not smoke to speak. In the shade, loose decorative strips, not always functioning PDC front, and to mention a defective battery. That of the electric heater sometimes squints as much as a bad fireplace we push on the short distance drive. The topic with the consumption in the big city I should not mention here at all: we commute between 13.5 l and 14.5 l over a year. On long and medium distances the consumption goes towards 10 l, the emphasis l How consumptions of less than 10 l can be realized remains completely closed to us, we certainly do not have a full-gas foot, but as soon as one adequately accelerates the moose takes one! We also always, we are satisfied and look forward to answers and information on the updates to the annual festival! Greetings Andreas

V70 – no stroller?
The V70 seems to be too small for families with children (6 – 1.5 – 0 years old), i.e. too narrow. I know that this concerns only a small asocial minority, most of them are childless here, in one way or another, but there is a real problem for me at the moment: I have to put three of these GIGA BRIEF child seats in the back seat. Probably it’s not a problem to put three brewery bells in the back, but if you look at each other, But how wide the children’s seats really are, then you ask yourself if all this has to be. Well, the seats are also approved for Logans or Gölfe and they have to afford something. The real problem is the “big one”, which can now “no longer” fasten itself despite the belt extension. This really does Aua. The new MaxiCosi baby shell has already flown out (and will probably only travel with the “tandem” stroller) and has been replaced by the old Roman shell. So I don’t really want to have to think about vans or SUVs. @Murcs, baby seat in the middle is eliminated because of the justified veto of the OHL. That’s why I don’t know if this would improve anything. In the past, the family used to fit into a beetle and the family would have been able to use the V70 car seat in the middle. was only half the size?? CU BK
