  • Red XC90 V8 Sport – even wider grin.

Hi, even if the birth has been delayed by 2 days: Also with me you can notice a wide grin in the face. Up to now I have only the return trip from and 2 round trips with the family – therefore a total of about 50 km – behind me, but the gas-elch runs great. From the conversion is nothing to feel, the engine is as I expected – on the country road and in the city you drive the easy also (with careful gas-foot) under 2000 tours. On the unfortunately very full In the left column I was overtaken to the right – I looked at the 911er, the Mitsubishi Colt and the A190 but less – maybe the red is too appealing. With already 1 proof photo – it was already dark – tomorrow certainly more beautiful photos. Maybe at noon I can get a more ambitious photographer to take some nice photos of the Schönelch. More information is available later – I am then gone again……….. Freudigen Gruß Jü Now he just installs Parrot and iPod holder.

  • XC 90 2.5 T Tips requested…

Hi! I’ve been annoyed long enough about my Mercedes, a friend of mine is now working at a Volvo dealer, so I tried an XC 90 2.5 T. The car is from 09/2003, has run 65,000 km and 210 hp with turbo. It is a gasoline. It is from 1st hand, dark blue, inside leather black and very well in order. What I noticed is the pleasant motor run for a 5-cylinder, the sufficient engine power and the beautiful driving behavior. Leather, it has a crack at a seam in the passenger seat, which will be fixed. In addition, a large customer service will be carried out including new brakes. In addition, the car has 7 seats and full equipment up to Xenon. Now to my questions: – What is such a car realistically worth? – How is the pollutant classification? At the dealer was not sure, but the whole EEC clause is the same as with the new 3.2. Therefore, we suspected Euro 4. Is that true? – Is there any problem with the – What is your experience with wear and service costs? – Can you move the car with some reasonable consumption at cruising speed 180? – There is only a little bit of lead-free in the tank lid. Is it possible to change the gear oil with normal? – Do you have to change the gear oil? Thank you and many regards, Mathias

  • Ever sought. Finally found. A Volvo newcomer introduces himself.

N ́abend. Yes, what is in the title could be a book title, no question However, it describes quite well the long way I had to go in order to finally find a vehicle, which is satisfied in almost all matters – in some even surpasses After I had asked in the Volvo part MotorTalks already 2x for a purchase advice, (http://www.motor-talk.de/…/…kaufberatung-v70-ii-2-4t-t4789275.html , http://www.motor-talk.de/…without-guarantee-buy-t48148 43.html?… ) I have now been able to reach the potential 3rd offer for me. Although I had to correct my planned budget a bit upwards, but can now call a V70 II from 2005 in the special edition “Move” my own, which leaves almost nothing to be desired for players. A few facts: 2.5T in black, 167tkm run, from 1st hand, completely and completely maintained with Volvo Checkheft, manual gearbox, Four-C, full leather, (pseudo)Bixenon, RTI, telephone, stand-up heating, Te Chnikpacket, and and and. After I was able to start the first single exit today, I am more and more enthusiastic about what a pleasant, charismatic appearance of the V70 mediates. From the outside, And that the 2.5T is a dream of engine, I probably don’t have to tell here anymore Something is cloudy but also: With every switching process comes a dull “glong” from the direction of the drive train. Why ever, I probably overheard this during the test drive. or screwing the drive shafts belongs – is this about this problem? Greetings from the north. PS: I take photos tomorrow in daylight times a few.

  • Speed over 160km/h and GAS operation

Here I have a V70II (Bj 2003) with a front gas system (built by Volvo – system operator from Germany (Brillon)). This car got a system in 2008 and has this probably about 60-70Tkm in use. Current driving performance about 135Tkm. You get from all sides submissible hints and horror stories about the valves. Some say when higher power is required (WoWa operation or AB with 160 and more). The others: That’s all nonsense and d he motor (2,4) can do that already … and more. How are the experiences with this. I very much adhere to the specification …. but my predecessor, which it had built in?….. There were certainly 50-60T on his side. Experiences and advice? Gorden.

  • Volvo V70 R

Moin, I couldn’t let it happen again and so I am again faced with the decision whether it should not become a V70 R! Now I ask myself whether it should become a prefacelift or facelift model. From the optical point of view I tend quite clearly to the old Vorf. I like this already with my current V70 better and is for me simply more Volvo, as before Volvo once was. But are there also clear arguments for the facelift model? I know that the all-wheel better and weni I think it’s the most important thing that the R is in a good condition when buying it. Is it actually a disadvantage if the first angular gearbox is still installed at about 120,000Km, so that means that it could soon come to one with a MY 2004 model? Since there are some R drivers here and many others with good knowledge I thought that I would just turn to the forum! Greetings Non-grained

  • Diesel engine goes out in case of cold / Abroad / Volvo Assistance

Hello, everyone, I have a V70 Diesel automatic, 130 hp, 2004 year, checkbook maintained, so far perfectly run. But I am currently in strong cold (-14 degrees) abroad; engine starts perfectly, but goes out after about 10 seconds again. This happened 7 or 8 times in a row, only the 9 or 10 times the engine ran through. Do not dare me now to drive longer distances, because I could stay lying down. What does it usually cost, the diesel filter or the Dross And: Has one of you had experience with the Volvo Assistance service, how fix they help with foreign problems? Thanks for the answers!!!

  • Request for purchase advice V70

Hello! After long reading I decided to register and join the forum. I am thinking of buying a V70 gasoline with 140 hp. BJ should be between 2003 and 2004. Currently I have an Alfa 166 2.4 jtd as a everyday car, an old Alfa Spider as a summer car and a Lancia Kappa Coupe Turbo 20V as a lover car! Since I have family, all this becomes too much for me and I sell the 166 and the Lancia. After a long study of the forum I have myself for The 140 HP petroler decided, because I live in Austria, and so I can never drive fast and the tax and insurance is measured after the performance. My usual distance in and to work are 15 km mostly rural road. My annual output is approx. 15,000 km. Diesel I don’t like any more, because I had a turbo damage in my 166 and thus got to know the very big repair costs. Since there is practically no V70 petroler in Ö I will probably get one from Germany ho However, since I am Volvo Laie I ask you for your tips. The following vehicle would be in question for me:http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=b1m4jfg1qwwk Does anyone know the vehicle? Is that something or is there an absolute exclusion criterion? Would I be pleased about your help! Thank you Luigi Risotto

  • New XC90 or something else?

Hello, the leasing contract of my XC90 runs out soon. Now the question is: What do you do? After 2 x 3 years XC90 you could get along with something else, but our Dickelch is clever. Who has chosen an XC90 in the last 6 months, and if so which equipment line? Does someone have the R design? How is the chassis compared to the XC90 Exec? And to the Ex-XC90 drivers: What do you drive now and how is your experience compared to the XC90 Exec? C90? I have a choice of XC90 R-Design, BMW X5 3.0D (is unfortunately a little expensive in leasing, as well as in the “money-value advantage” or a new E-Class CDI250 T-Model (if it doesn’t become a 7 seater). I’m a bit torn back and forth. Maybe you can help me with your experience a little bit. Thank you Langer02

  • Clutch over ? Or something else

Hi together , my moose is slowly coming into the years I’ve been having a distinct clonk noise for some time when inserting the first gear. I can actually shut out the drive shafts, because the noise has nothing to do with load wobble/driving operation. It has the following effect: 1. I step in the clutch and put in the first gear –> Klonk! (from the direction of the gear) 2. I take out the gear and put in again –> no noise (I hold the whole gear) 2. I take out the gear and put in again –> no noise (I hold the whole gear) Time the clutch pedal kicked) 3. However, I hurriedly walk off the clutch and then re-enter and insert the gear again there is the —> clone. The noise is considered dependent on the first pedal pedal pedal. What can that be ????? Thank you!
