16”, 17” or 18” for V70 2.4 T
Hello, when changing tyres to winter tyres I noticed that I need new summer tyres in the spring (after 30,000 km the Conti Premium Contakt are down). I currently have 16” tyres, 215′ width. Since I have to invest anyway, I consider whether I would like to get a few new rims (the old ones should fit for the 205 winter tyres). What serious advantages have 17” with 225′ or even 18” compared to 16” rims? I really only think of the better cornering behavior, otherwise it is more an “optical advantage”. As disadvantages come to me: – higher wear of the shock absorbers – higher fuel consumption by changing from 215 to 225 by increasing the rolling resistance How is your opinion – are 17” or even 18” really worth it?

PNA newly purchased, which memory card size makes sense?
Hello everyone, have just added me a PNA with the new Navigon software with 27 countries. Since I am often abroad, I would like to upgrade a larger memory card. Can one tell me from experience whether a 1GB MMC is sufficient or if I should rather get a 2GB MMC. I would like to consider that I like to be lazy and not always want to play up new data, but I am usually only traveling in 1-2 countries except in D. I don’t know how much fits on it. S80 from 2001: What does he have that I don’t have?
Does anyone have an idea what I could do with my aged T6 of 99 in the exteriors of a 2001+? I think it has a different bow apron from 2003 and somehow I am more likely to meet Ikeas with honeycomb grill. In particular, I am interested in whether the grill in the 2003/2004er is the same as with the older models. Does anyone know that? Do I also have to change the headlights when I mount a newer bow apron (if that’s possible)? And what about these chic LED rear lights, has someone ever transplanted into an older model? Hello you! I noticed unpleasantly that on longer rides the fittings of the center console become enormously hot – so hot that it smells like a bit of grated kunsstoff. The compartment under the audio display gets so hot that I don’t put my phone in there anymore, have concerns that the battery gets too hot. The heat affects the entire console – area audio, climate etc. Can well imagine that the lighting gives off too much heat. Now it is also conceivable for me that the climate automation suddenly turns cold on some on longer rides – the temperature measuring point is in the middle of the hot-growing console. Before I come back to the dealer I would like to have some experiences from you. parkbank

V70 D5 Mj.06: turning circle / function xenon light?
Good evening, after having covered 3000 km with my V70 in a short time and having finally “friended” me as a Volvo newcomer with the car, there are still 2 open points: 1. Turning circle: I experience the usual traffic space with my V70 every day, because I have to follow up at the places that went with my pass in a slide. Now Volvo indicates the turning circle with 11,9m, and my Passat 3BG was probably at 11,4m. The “feeled” and probably also realistic turning circle in the V70 is, however, significantly larger. Has someone already measured for fun (with the brochure value of the underlying and with me also mounted 215 standard tyres) times? 2. Xenon light: How does the automatic height control work in the V70? In the passat, one has already got the after-regulation during the ride with some longer floor waves, so a very quick system which affects the counter traffic at all possible.

ATTENTION who drives XC70 without km/h limit

RTI spins, heat or Lebanon conflict?
In the last few days my RTI behaves a little brain-burning and seems to laugh to death if I also fall in on the wrong tips. But seriously: In the last few days the RTI has repeatedly indicated to me at intersections/entrances that I should still drive 450m (or comparable sizes) to the next turn, only then to tell me immediately after the intersection/entrance that I should have turned there and that I would have to turn now at XYZ m distance. Now we are certainly all only limited in the heat but RTIlein should suffer from this still least in the well air-conditioned XC. Can the accumulating errors possibly – please not laugh – a different alignment of the satelites for the present Middle East conflict be attributed or must I actually to the greeting, Frank – feels somehow entangled by the RTI
