Hello people, joy Easter by the way!I stopped today again, with my quality car from Sweden.I bought me 3months ago allegedly well used BJ.06/2005 with 108tkm. (d5 switch)Now have the 5th off planned workshop visit since purchase date. And that with this mileage performance! My old 940s with 428tkm did not have such problems. Is my quality claim too high or has Volvo become so bad. 112000km Generator-free run and servo pump 112500km new servo pump housing torn again exchanged 115000km tensioning and turning roller + rib belt for safety 116000km engine bearing defective 118000km Today’s failure probably wheel hub or drive joint vo li. Actually had to drive before my V70 longer, but if this goes on, it can not afford to be sow without wanting to peek around here now. With my old one I had only maintenance times a brake times a track If I ask the question, it’s the only thing we’ve ever had! Think seriously about another one!But I don’t have an alternative to the V70, with the same understatement.

Volvo V70 Edition Comfort Leasing?
Just looked at the special model V70 Edition Comfort and thought to myself “that’s exactly what you’re looking for” Since for me only leasing is possible (and only via a Volvo dealer directly) I went directly to the leasing computer at Volvo and calculated my leasing rate. V70 Edition Comfort 2.4 D (163 hp) LP: 36.680,00 EUR 36 months and 25.000 KM per year no deposit Kilometerleasing Private leasing monthly Rate: 730,37 EUR——–> wie bitte?! I already have the special model V70 Edition Comfort! hui. For comparison I went to Sixt’s same vehicle with the same dates: monthly rate: 493,00 EUR (this is the price without deposit, since SIXT always provides 20 % deposit, I counted out the deposit and added it to the monthly price) Even if leasing is only possible for me via a Volvo dealer, I found the offer of SIXT fascinating. Are after all 237 EUR less and that per M onat. Has any of you leased a V70 Edition Comfort and can tell me something about the calculation of Volvo?! I would really like to pick up the car because I just think it’s great. I already got a first offer directly from a Volvo dealer. He was expecting a huge deposit. If you broke it down to the months then we would be at a monthly rate of about 712 € at the above details. I’m really desperate…

XC90 wheel bearing fairy tale hour
Hello together, I was on Sunday with my family for a longer trip on the highway. And there it was again, the unusual loud hum from about 80 km/h. Then I looked carefully on my steering wheel, if there is not by chance a Ford sign on it. But no, it is a Volvo sign and I actually sit in my Volvo. So, on Monday immediately my exceedingly friendly called, was allowed to come by immediately for intensive diagnosis. he sits in the back and we go. After less than 500 m he confirmed already the defective of a wheel bearing. And now comes: He asked me if the wheel bearings have been made before and which was changed. I confirmed to him that according to the then calculation (about 1.5 years ago) the left wheel bearing was changed. I then told him that I had learned from other Volvo circles (MT) that actually both bearings should always be exchanged. I got the answer that there was no problem with this. This is only done if the manufacturer is aware that certain parts are weak points. And since I am the FIRST and so far also the ONE customer, who would have problems with the wheel bearings, then only the left one is changed. On my note that under xc90 drivers the problem was already sufficiently well known at that time he immediately confirmed to me that both wheel bearings are made this time and that the costs Volvo in full Hö so far, so good, on Friday are used with new wheel bearings. But it is already crazily: I am the only with wheel bearing problems (2x within 74,000 km and 3 years) but in the forums this problem is discussed endlessly 😉 Greetings xcycler

V70II T5 vs Nissan 350Z
The comparison between a Volvo V70 T5 and a Nissan 350Z, or: How to compare apples with pears…Volvo: – Space for 5 people – Luggage compartment for 5 people – Suitable for long distance – Comfortable seats – Understatement – Versatile use – Sound system – Spacious – The forum – People – 280/430 – 5 cylinders 2.3 Turbo – Consumption 11.2l/100km – ca. 65,000 Fr … … Nissan: – Space for 2 people – Luggage compartment for 1/2 person – Suitable for long distance – Seats like a turnsch Uh – Remarkable like a colorful dog – Bose Soundsystem (naja…) – Large enough for 2 people – 313/358 – V6 3.5 – Consumption: 11.7l/100km – ca. 55,000 Fr … … heretics? I don’t think so, because I’m clearly waiting for the XC60. But I want to be a hybrid! I’m sure I’ll wait 2-4 years for that. So I decide between a great car, that I know and love, that brought me a lot of joy AND friends and a Japanese guy who’s just… hmmmm Ufffw wow, actually not useful. Do people have such a stupid device that you can hardly need for something everyday? PS: I got a roadster by tomorrow night… Black like the night, orange like an R it can be inside, unreasonable like an ice cream cup with whipped cream in diabetes

Connect charging line for caravans?
With my S80 I would like to retrofit an AHK. The electric kit should also be equipped with a charging line for the caravan so that the caravan battery can be recharged and the fridge can be operated during the journey (with the caravan the refrigerator is not on a continuous plus but on the charging line). The question now is how to connect this best, since the instructions normally provide that the vehicle battery is in the engine compartment. I have to have a cable from the switching relay d irkt to the alternator and each plus and minus directly to the battery. Do I now put the whole relay history and cabling in the engine compartment or in the trunk? Can I directly access a plus connection in the engine compartment or also minus to the battery?

My sincere thanks to the RTI
Since positive messages come a bit short here on the whole, on this way my heartfelt thanks !! to my Navi:Thank you – that you derived me on my journey from Essen to Euskirchen very early on country roads and saved me almost 30 km of fast highway (even though the BAB running parallel to your country road route was completely free)Thank you – that you took me instead of the free BAB through me until then completely unknown villages, senseless roundabouts in the Pampas and managed 30 km/h zones – that finally widens the horizonThank you – that I was allowed to watch the village women with clothes size 56 while swimming in the sun – then one looks forward even more to the homecoming thanks – also in the name of the village women, that I was able to make their day by my mere passing by already so completely different, than the other days thanks – that you finally led me to the finish in Euskirchen – even if I really didn’t like it anymore But I still have a question for you, dear Navi: WHY DO YOU TAKE A S******E ?????Heartly, your Frank!

Russian particulate filter, Stuttgart environmental zone
Hello municipality there has now written to me my friend, and made a nice offer for retrofitting for a DPF… Reason: “One plans in Stuttgart a driving ban for red AND GELBE badges from Jan 2010” Did I miss something there? Ok, I already noticed the advance from 2012 to 2010 for you red. But for the yellow there was so far no plan at all if when and how. Another friend had even advised me in the summer, since at all nothing too under who knows if this is being followed up even further.. Looks different in Berlin, for example, they really do this in 2010. And now this is supposed to be in fact here in S in 3 months??? (A work colleague has upgraded his VW bus in the spring to finally get yellow, the 1000s he could now just put in the exhaust..) Did I now miss an important report, or does someone just want to create a little turnover? What I have found in the media so far is however only Presse-Geraschel:Stuttgarter Zeitung Does anyone know more? Peter

S60 Radiator grill and other questions
Hello Did I get an S60 about 2 weeks ago, must say really horny part except for a few little things Question 1: Did I discover on the internet sun PPC box or something, my question: Should I have to change any parts so that my engine doesn’t fly around my ears? because many tell me the engine and the other parts that are congested with me are tuned to 140hp and if I then at once to 190hp tune goes faster what in ass or much faster, true that? And there stands the consumption drops by 20% real? And really as easy to tune as it is there or a bit more complicated?Link Question 2: I bought a radiator grill from Ebäy, came today and my worst expectation has come true, it doesn’t fit! With the description stood Volvo S60 from Bj 2000, well Ebay halt. The Klips things wodran the grill holds are different from the original and have the bottles spacing. I asked the dealer if he still has a suitable one, but I now my question: how can I get that thing even without the Klips things, has an experience with it? Have pictures of the grill attached to the old and the new! Sorry and thank you for your answer already greeting Eugen
