good tomorrow, imagine, after about 20km a light, beating noise from the front axle. with each kilometer increasing. I thought first a plate, right turn, got out, and.. nothing. it got worse and worse, thought the drives fly right around my ears, to the friendly and.. the left front wheel was completely loose, all the wheel screws were just before the fall off. now I ask you, do you lose the wheel bolts on your own? the last “wheel change” is loosely 5 00km back! is this really happening on its own? maybe the professionals here have already had experiences with it? thanks for your tips!

Tinted rear lights
Hello everyone!! I’m a new access here from today! And I have a question for everyone! I’ve been looking for black tail lights for my Volvo S80 for a long time, of course, including ABE. I don’t want to dismantle my lights (if the green ones stop me)! I’ve already seen that they are available for the S60 at MR but as always nothing for the big one. Maybe someone knows where I can get something like that!! I’m looking for a discreet Hec kspoiler or at least ne Spoilerlippe! I had already seen a lip at ebay which is glued on the edge of the trunk lid but the effect is equal to zero!! Such a pillefit I stick on it!! Greeting Black

Signal for radio lighting
Hello to each other, since Thursday I finally have an MP3-capable radio in the moose. I got the double-DIN mounting frame from Volvo as well as the matching ISO and antenna adapter. The conversion was a bit fuzzy, but on the whole possible. What bothers me a little bit now: The radio (JVC-G721) has a dimmer automatic, which switches the display brighter or darker depending on the lighting. Only on the ISO adapter the corresponding cable is not occupied. Is it because Volvo doesn’t have the signal in the radio supply lines or is my adapter junk? Could you pick up the signal somewhere (air conditioning system control?)? Is the corresponding information available if you install the CAN module (name is missing to me)? Uli

Switching…
Hello moose driver… I am thinking of buying an XC 90… should become a sum or momentum from year 2007 (for the executive the Euros are missing); 2.5 liter diesel with automatic; AHK with level compensation and ISO-Fix are mandatory! Question to the municipality: – What must I pay attention to when buying? – What problems can come to me with the automatic transmission? (in so far only switches driven!!!!!) – How are the alternating intervals for the timing belt? – What equipment is it? What are the typical flaws? – What are the typical flaws in the electrical system??? (e.g. door contact switch…. ha,ha I already know of the XC70(1st series)) I am grateful for answers and thoughts…… Until the days

When do the seats wear out ect.?
Today I found an XC90 D5 Aut MJ2005 with 170000KM. According to information on the phone the Fzg checkbook is well maintained. On the pictures I noticed, the 1. the leather bag under the shift stick is strongly worn and 2. the middle armrest is extremely worn on the left side. This is a German Fzg. It was explained by the fact that the Fzg. was driven by a 140kg man. Since I have never owned a Volvo but have heard a lot about the good quality, I want to be smart – I’m going to do it.

Purchase advice, what do I have to pay attention to? Volvo V70 d5 2.4 185PS
Huhu in the round :-)! After 6 weeks of stress with various used car sellers and the switch back and forth between Audi, BMW and Volvo, I am now sure I want to buy the above mentioned Volvo. Was a heavy birth, but actually Volvo was my first choice from the beginning only my friend wanted to inspire me for an Audi A4 or a BMW. Anyway, I have now found a nice V70, full equipment and very well maintained. Built 12/2006. What do I have to pay attention to? Tomorrow f I’ve already done a test drive and I’m thrilled. Can you give me a few tips? Is this a good choice? What’s the use? Thank you for your help 🙂 Eva

Oil cooler for automatic transmissions sought
Hello, although there are various threads and opinions about the question “Griebeölkühler ja/ne”, I decided to install or install one of these. My XC90: 2,5T, EZ 12/2003, automatic transmission AW55-51 1. Question: Where is the original part (except the )? 2. What can the part cost? 3. Can someone get it cost-effectively (perhaps use co-rebate?)? (ebay didn’t have it) 4. Who already installed it? 5. Is there a installation instruction? (On this Volv o-page there is no instruction for this.) I: -I am technically gifted, -I have a workshop in the background, -I like to do it myself. I found that the AT has no control measuring rod for the oil stand. Hmmm …. Greeting Georg

New addition: V70 D5
After extensive and competent consultation from the forum (see here) I now have my silver Sweden Since the Volvo was far away, I can report about almost 700km of experience:An absolute cream cut. Despite 280,000km runs wonderfully smooth, no cracking, rumbling, murmuring, wheezing, coughing, swallowing – as good as new. From the outside are small (absolute cosmetic) scratches and the front has a few stone hits around the grill. From the inside is the L If you don’t know the speedometer, you wouldn’t even be able to guess the mileage. What’s next: New summer tires (right urgent) Any possibility to operate my iPod (waving between iMIV and Grom) Question about the automatic: Sometimes you feel like he’s only driving with a grinding clutch. The converter can’t be imho, the driver can’t be able to drive the device. The problem is less pronounced in “manual” operation, more in fully automatic operation. Does a transmission flush have a view of improvement? So far and until soon in the forum, Jonas PS: Current consumption is just 7,1l according to BC – but also quite a lot in fun mode. Had it already at 6,3l after 500km of motorway. PPS: Sorry for the mobile phone pictures

2 clock oil for diesel 1:250 for lubricating injectors
Hello, I’ve read that many diesel drivers are adding 2-stroke oil 1:250 to the diesel when refueling. Let the injectors lubricate. The injector death also seems to be a big problem and not only with Volvo. Who has experience with it and can tell me something about this topic. Have an S60 D5 with 185 hp diesel and automatic transmission.

Track adjusted -> Tires over?
Hello, just by chance I noticed something quite stupid about my moose: the still quite new tyres are already clearly down on the insides (not 10000 km) on the front (especially VL). To the story: I had new track rods installed at a third-party workshop (but Volvo specialized). Since the steering wheel was slightly crooked after that and I was just at Volvo after that, I had “the wheel angles checked and adjusted” at Volvo. After that, brand new tires came on all 4 wheels (in April 2008). In other words, although the track rods were initially not set correctly (the steering wheel was slightly crooked), the dirty tires would have to be the fault of the Volvo dealer. How do you see this – how would you proceed?
