Hello your Volvo friends. Used to have an S80 with full equipment as a company car. I’ve been on my own for 1 year now and bought a Volvo XC 90 D5 sport with bixenon, leather, etc. in May 2008. Not exactly an action but I thought it was worth the money. After 3 weeks it started. The alarm went on just like this. Switched off, locked up again. After 30 minutes. Driven to the Volvo dealer. He detected a defective sensor of the interior surveillance. After 1 month the same thing again. But then the nice gentleman said that the diagnosis did not find a mistake. He meant that maybe a fly triggered the alarm. Haha. Good. Yesterday, after another month it started again. I suspect a problem because of the high temperatures. Always the (black) car stood in the sun all day. But that doesn’t happen every time it is so hot. I asked the dealer what he wants to do now. He says he knows it. no. I asked for a joke about having to leave the car in the garage when the sun is shining. I’m waiting for his call today. Furthermore, I have so disturbing crackling and scraping some covers (I can’t find where I could freak out from anywhere). And when it’s all turned to the left, you notice a very slight corner in the steering. That’s what the mechanic meant that he can’t detect anything. If it gets worse, s I’m hard desperate especially since the car gross has cost over € 60,000,-. Does anyone know any advice ?.. Thanks Mfg

Hi, in between and not important … I was a couple of days (SCIENCELY – as far as you can say with the beauty of the lake) at Lake Maggiore (Italy) with my 2007 XC70II and was impressed by the mass of XC70 that you can see there – both II and III. The density was definitely higher than in California and the XC70 was there and also on L. Maggiore the most driven Volvo. Of the Swiss you know that they love Volvo. The engine variant I’ve been interested in 250 hp or 272 hp (T5 ; T6) What do the Volvos have for drive concepts. Is this with four-wheel drive? How good are the automatic transmissions? Good day together, I built the Dension Gateway 500 in my XC90 today. So far I only read that the airbag error message will appear after that. But now I don’t have navigation, phone or radio or anything. When I turn on the radio, the display goes on for one, two seconds, after that it falls back into deep sleep again. The iPod also gets no power and of course does not give any sound of itself. A friend just told me that the system with Volvo reseted I’m just surprised that I didn’t read it in the installation manual or in the case of others who installed the GW. Has anyone had similar experiences? Or where could the error still be? Would be grateful for short information.

After all, I had purchased a Volvo V70 with which no passenger car bag was installed as standard. In the display the passenger airbag was listed next to all the other features. A retrofitting of the passenger airbag is definitely not possible. Hardware-wise (control unit, airbag itself, amature board etc.) no problem is possible only from the software (or Volvo directly). This has to do with the liability. That is now clarified. Now the question is what to do. In 2 For weeks I have an appointment with the dealer to discuss this or to discuss an alternative solution.
