  • Cheap PDC sensors

low-cost PDC sensors At prices around 90€ for a PDC sensor for v70 My2006 (30765108) I had little desire to repair my parking help so far. In addition, paint again and install. That’s why I’m now testing an offer from eBay for 32€ inclusive shipping. The offer can be found if you are looking for “Parking Sensor Volvo” and article location “Europe” – which prevents customs costs. The handling takes place via Paypal. The special thing: It is allegedly the original of Valeo OEM. The seller probably sits in England while the item is being shipped from Riga. Particularly comfortable is the offer to have the sensors painted in any original color for 10 British pounds = 12€. • New thick ship arrived

Hello, our new “used” XC90 has arrived and enjoys a feeling like it’s hard to describe, yet typical of Volvo: you sit in a (car) castle and feel really good. It’s a car from 2010, D5, 60,000 Km on the clock, edition model, sapphire black. On accessories are trunk mat(s), basic carrier for the railing and WR. The turning circle is somewhat used, especially in the deep gait. Rage already needs some shunting work, but it’s just a matter of getting used to. Now I’m looking forward to a nice exchange of experiences. Greetings Robert

  • Diesel filter V70 frozen again

It’s time again: For the time being, the diesel fuel filter is frozen so that the car doesn’t start. Does anyone have an idea how to prevent it? Let off the condensation water from time to time? How do you do that? As I have read, it’s probably not that easy to expand the filter without the right tool. Does it bring something to thaw the part (of course not with possibly open flame…) Thank you for helpful answers! Best regards! Odilo

  • How warm with heating? V70II

Hello, I’m throwing my heater for tomorrow the last few days, so that I don’t have to scratch or freeze the kids. I let the SH unlock in Nov., and now it turned on about 7x, but it was mostly around the +4 degrees in the morning at 8:10. Now we have minus degrees in the morning and when I come to the car, I don’t think it’s really cuddly in the car. How warm will yours be? Can you pretend the heat? Marc

  • Would you like to buy another Volvo, but which one?

Moin, in the spring of 2011 I had to separate myself from my V70 D5 EZ 2002 with 330 tkm due to some expensive defects. The pain was not too great because I could already call a Honker mine. However, I got only a small diesel approved as a everyday car. Now I play with the thought to get a Volvo again. But that is harder than thought. I definitely need a little more ground clearance, because I often and like to travel in Scandinavia. So a Pr but for my 1.98 it is simply too tight on the driver’s seat. Hard to believe, but there was much more space in the V70. Now the XC70 remains. But we don’t really like the new one at all at all. But the XC70 II only existed until the beginning of 2007 (about that) and the condition for a brought in must be a km performance below 100 tkm. That’s actually almost impossible if you look at how many XC70s are offered as used cars in D at all. W would you advise me? I’m looking for a used man with a little more ground clearance, loading area up to the front seats like 190 cm or more, long-haulable, diesel, under 100 tkm. From my point of view, there’s only one thing to be friends with the new XC70. or what do you think?

  • Pictures of your moose after the long winter

Hello, today I have my faithful moose from the “Winter sleep awakened” (summer tires raised, washed and waxed and laaang inside cleaned …). In the appendix a picture of the moose after the whole day procedure. When is it time for you? Put pictures in. LG, Nordisk.

  • My Resume after the First Year Volvo V70 D5

Hello guys, I would like to list here my ups and downs after the first year as moose driver: Volvo V70 D5 Comfort, 163 HP Bj 2004 in March 2012 with 141tkm bought. Since then repairs occured: Right on purchase it was clear that the transverse handlebars and the timing belts need to be renewed. At 145tkm then the first disillusionment: rear Nivo dampers defective, an expensive fun if you don’t have such a car for long… 150tkm: engine runs top, so still a so called chip tuning installed, now according to test stand 211 HP go t like hell 152tkm: in humid weather on the front spring legs, well-known disease, the rubber parts that come between damper and spring renewed, in which breath immediately the spring leg bearings participated, were still in fact, but I know my luck.. and there anyway already apart… 155tkm: In Holland let the edge heating unlock, already at the purchase was clearly that the heater is defective, in Germany then still completely new combustion chamber. was not cheap, but so ́n warm car in the Wi Nter is already the banger 159tkm: hand brake lining solved. New hand brake pads plus discs and pads at the rear, was already obvious when buying that they are not for long. 165tkm (last week): engine in emergency run, message high emission—> AGR valve defective. It is done again the moose. The only problem still pending is a pole left front, but only at temperatures of 3-5 degrees and less. Now not to hear again, already everything checked, but no game fes As you can see, I had to do a lot of things about the moose. On the one hand I have to say that I am a bit disappointed to have buttered so much money and time in the moose after a year, on the other hand I see this realistic, it is not a new car anymore and if you see the car ́s of other manufacturers, it is not necessarily better with them either. In addition, I did this myself anyway, because a good acquaintance has a car workshop. Maybe it will be niger.., we both had to get to know each other really well but apart from the repairs I am still super satisfied and happy with the moose, a car in the class I never had before and always when I think partly bad about it and then ride again in such a funny 4 cylinder diesel of other manufacturers, I am always enthusiastic about how smooth the D5 is. Conclusion: Until now my next car (but only in 4-5 years) will be again a Volvo. Hope you can take from the thread something for your own appreciation of your elk greeting, Henning

  • The joke of the day… (Volvo and spare parts prices)

Moin! I was with today to pick up the ordered spare parts. Ordered were: VDD, gasket from the valve cover to the injectors and the seals of the injector seat. As far as good. When I saw however what these “copper rings” cost ́ I thought it ́s a joke: 4,32.-€ + VAT.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! are these still normal? (I mean there VCG not the dealer – it can ́t do anything for it) I ́ll think about a plate of copper lech to bes Org, and the things then handcrafted for 3 fuffzish worldwide to defend. Normal washers from Cu don’t go – you notice the noses in the hole. And if it has to be I suck the holes in there with the tongue! Add another picture of the said “High Perfomance Turbo Copper Seal GTI 16V Synchro” So. Finished. Greetings Bibo Aunt Edith I think I should add that the 4,32.-€ refer to a seal, and not about all five!

  • VOLVO V70 2.4 Diesel – built in 2002 – shock absorber

Here I have made a completely new experience with my contract workshop. During the assembly of new tyres it was found that the rear shock absorbers are defective and have to be replaced. The vehicle has a mileage of around 270,000 TKM and that is a good value for such a wear part. I bought the vehicle as a new car from this dealer, all relevant vehicle data must be there. It took me a whole day until my workshop m I can’t understand why it takes a whole day at a VOLVO contract workshop. I asked others, ATU and PitStop, here I got the information or the estimate within half an hour. VOLVO approx. € 440,– ATU € 341,– PitStop € 275,– The Volvo workshop certainly installs original spare parts, with the other two would MO NGOs and/or SACHS. Here I would like to know something about the experiences of our forum members. MfG – Rivastar
