A Volvo with three children?
Hello, I’m still new to the forum In the summer a new service car is due. I finally wanted to have my first Volvo. Now we are lucky that we still get twins to our 3.5-year-olds in the summer. The trunks at Volvo are big enough, but what does it look like with 3 child seats in the back when the twins grow out of the baby shells. According to the Autobild-Test of 2007 had to enter the V70 three, tried it and failed. the test a V70 II? The only thing that would be possible would be to have the seat heighter of Volvo, which has no side cushions in the fuselage area, in the middle place. But I don’t think it is safe in case of a side impact. My dealer then logically recommended the XC 90, where the middle seat is 6 cm wider, so three child seats would have to fit well. But I find this car inappropriate because of its consumption (although a T5 consumes the same amount). And in the SUV drawer ic The car will either be used by my wife or me with the children, or I will be on duty on my own. On weekends, drive an hour to visit or shop and two three times a year a long trip to the north. I can still rely on a T4 with 4 three-point belts, which is not quite enough for the five of us (I think the pelvic belt is unacceptable). It is important to me consumption and safety (Volvo!!). Do I compare a touran from the square-angbot to the XC90?? My dream would be to place the family in a V/XC70, and to place the T4 through a multivan. Thank you already in advance for your efforts.

XC90 Gasoline 3.2 ltr.
Hello, I am active in the forum for the first time today. I am about to make a purchase decision for an XC90. Until yesterday I was aware of which I will take. A diesel in executive with additional cornering light, parking aid, speed-dependent servo, sliding roof, telephone fixture, wooden steering wheel, camulus rims in electric silver with anthracite/chestnut brown interior. I have the following doubts: I would like to have a white XC90, silver just because there is no executive in white. But the operating costs speak clearly for the diesel. Pain. My latest idea is to take a gasoline engine, 3.2 liters (the V8 falls out of the frame at a price) with a gas system, if necessary as a summum, as available in white and possibly because of the additional price “petrol plus gas system” on the dynaudio system and the navigation. Who has already driven the 3.2 and what opinion do you have about the engine? Who already has a 3.2 a uf Gas is converted and is the conversion also done by a Volvo dealer? Do you get the Volvo warranty and is Volvo per possible? What do you think of my thinking? Greetings from Peter, who is torn back and forth and actually wanted to order the diesel tomorrow.

XC 70 now front drive
My XC70 is now a front-wheeler. I noticed it when I was stuck in a meadow. The dealer wants to exchange parts for a few K€ and that after 32 months running without guarantee. What can be the reason for it. I have no confidence in the screwdriver since I told him that my next car will no longer be a Volvo. (Which Fa. is so stupid, your car either with PRF and old engine and automatic or new engine without automatic, for this offer with RPF) G ruffle from xc70-er

XC90 Sport with pictures – again Volvo
Hello together, since the weather has no view, there are now the first photos without the appropriate sunshine. After the tip of gseum the good piece will be equipped with a Parrot 3500 for the mobile connection. Otherwise I was on the road for the test ride this weekend, and am satisfied with the good piece. What’s right is the clear sitting position. What’s crap is the PDC sensors at the back – they make shpn in a little rain Long-term pips – that’s annoying. So here are the pictures 1.

Error codes – can you get that?
Hello, my heater has said goodbye almost at the same time as its activation (details here). I don’t want to change any parts blind, but I don’t want to pay 300 EUR either – especially since the problem could occur again next winter. Then I at least know how it works. Now I found the article on the diagnostic information in the Elchwiki and in my lightness the question arises whether the BC except “DTCS in Vehicle” (which he does) and “CCM CHECKING” (shows him for a very long time – what does the BC so long??) also indicate something usable? Or does one come differently to the error codes, but without owning an entire workshop or straining the overly, because after all he deserves nothing at the not commissioned work. Finally still the question: Does the error code tell me then only “SH defective” (Ach ne…) or “SH: component XYZ defective”, so that one would buy at the corresponding spare part and then the repair done itself. Many greetings, rawaho

The ideal commuter Volvo up to 10,000,- Euro
Hello everybody, I am currently looking for a Volvo (nothing else – my 87 740 limo makes me happy again and again) for max. 10,000,- Euro. Important to me are the following things: – plan to drive it at least 4-5 years. At about 30,000km per year this makes up for max. 150,000km, which the Swede should reliably accompany me. – Reliability and durability (especially on the motor side) plays a big role, even more than the consumption costs – the pure Ver the less, the better of course the following cars are suitable for me: – Volvo C30 with the 1.6 diesel – I like it very much, consumption can probably be reduced with my rather defensive driving method to about 5 liters. Maintenance for DPF. With the budget a 2008er with about 80.000km would be possible, I think. However, I am still a bit skeptical about the PSA engine. (e.g. http://suche.mobile.de/…/158322085.html? Origin=PARK) – Volvo C30 with 1.8F – then convert it to LPG. Probably less consumption than the 2.4, but this is a Ford engine. or directly with LPG: http://suchen.mobile.de/…/180265099.html?… – Volvo S60 with the 2.4 (140hp) – with little KM from well-kept (rentner) hand, and then convert it to LPG for approx. 2.300,- Euro (e.g. the one here: http://suchen.mobile.de/…/180213097.html?…) – Volvo S40 with the same engine (2.4 170hp) – also with little KM from 2004-2006 and then convert it to LPG. e.g. http://suchen.mobile.de/…/175807698.html?… – Volvo S60 with 2.4D (163PS?) – with approx. 100,000 KM and possibly DPF. Removing the remaining budget for repairs… (e.g. http://suchen.mobile.de/…/179538915.html?…) As you can see, there are still many options and I’m still torn back and forth. I like the C30 best (but the pre-facelift design), followed by S40 and S60. Is the S60 (assuming the same year of construction as S40) the more solid car (una) Does it make sense to convert a 2.4 5-cylinder to gas instead of a small diesel? Is the 1.8F a good alternative to the 2.4? With the budget different years of construction are possible for the types (C30 2008/2009 – S60 2003-2006 – S40 2004-2007) – should this play a big role in the purchase? Thank you in advance for your answers and help!

Lambda probe, ECU, LMM defective???
Hello all, I’ve read many good pickles here, but I haven’t found anything 100% true about my problem yet. The following problem: With my V70II 2.4 with 140hp (B5244S2), the motor control light lights up. The moose is pretty bumpy. Under 3000 tours it jerks and always seems to “swallow”. Lustigerwiese’s behavior only occurs on petrol operation. On LPG operation it picks up gas, does not jerk like this, but does not run completely when listening closely. The error read out is: MEDEN (Denso) 1. Meden (Denso) 2. Error memory Number of errors: 1 2110 Lambda probe heating (before KAT) Signal unplausible Global OBD II 1. Mode 3/7/A, Read error memory 2. Mode 3/7/a, Read error memory: Number of errors: 3 Mode 3, Static error: *P0032 Lambda probe heating (Bank 1, Sensor 1) Plus close Mode 7, Sporadic error: *P0032 Lambda probe heating (Bank 1, Sensor 1) Plus close Mode A, Permanent error: —- The Lambda probe has been replaced. I come to it because the cables have the colors white, white, grey and black, original but probably black, black, white and blue. Before the Lambda probe was exchanged the lamp was also on, but the error was probably different. My friend closes now, since he can not measure a short circuit on a defect in the ECU. I somehow can not believe that at all and on the blue haze I will certainly not take the approx. 1500€ into my hand. What I can ever be universal probe. The result with the engine running: no change Result with the engine switched off: Does it run as good as round on petrol and LPG. Can anyone give me a hint what that could mean or what I can do? Other Lambda probes? have read that the Universal doesn’t work well in the moose. or new LMM? or can it really be the ECU? Gru ß Jox
