Hello, it’s been a while since I’m slowing down from higher speeds. (from speed 80). The steering wheel is relatively quiet. You can only hear a wumwumwumwum during braking. Are the brakes in the bucket?? Or can that be something else? The tyres are still very good and only 2 years on it and 15,000. Thanks already!

Well, I don’t want to miss out on the V40 forum. Of course, there’s a lot of questions like this one to you and it’s probably annoying for me. But since we’re getting offspring and the V40 BJ5/98 isn’t the biggest one, we’re still thinking about buying a new one. Well, there were some cars already in the conversation, including Opel Astra, Ford Focus, VOLVO V50, but I still think that the nice car is not worth a seat there. So I think I’m buying the V70 as a used car. Well, I’ve already had the 2.5D and the 2.5 D5 test cars before. The engine performance is pretty nice and I’m enjoying about as much as my V40 2T but I’m still in doubt if there’s a diesel at all, clear mileage of 20TKM are already there and I’d like to say that the most important thing about a diesel is for me.

Hello, wanted to change the wiper blades on my new used Volvo V70 Bj12/04. I still have new ones of the model 01/04, but they don’t fit the recording. On the homepage of SWF and Bosch, however, I can’t see a new type number, but there was a list at ATU, after in fact another type (356) has to be used from 03/04. Unfortunately, they didn’t have it in the program! Under Google now- no success?! Has the V70 received VisoFlex or Bosch Aero Twin sheets as standard and which type numbers do they have? Gruss SK70

Hi together, I just stepped on a funny effect. If I press (at normal straight drive, no traffic 😉 several times in a row on the brake pedal (not completely through, just tap and only very little delay), then I have after about 10x “pump” (so I call this now) a very difficult, hard brake pedal path. This feels like the hydraulic support is out or simply not active. After a few meters it goes again. Can someone just explain this to me? Hello. And another question: I need two more summer tyres for my V70. Which tyres are considered as a secret tip this year? It’s about the measure 215/55R16. Background is this: My dealer bought me two new tyres last year when selling the car for the front. The rear would go another season he said, and keep right. Now the front OK and rear are up. “Finally” I can also post a problem with my elk here once! This morning at 4:30 am I unlocked the (everyday still fully functioning) elk with the remote control. The usual “crack” was also to be heard. Then Überschung Nr.1: – the rear doors (both) and the tailgate did not open, the Knöppsche remained below. – so I quickly threw my things in front of the passenger seat and drove off. – After a few kilometers I noticed the tank indicator! UNDER NULL!!! No warning lamp, the BC says to the range “—” So grade the call at : 2 possibilities. Either in the back of the trunk 2 fuses are defective (is that the cause or effect) or the car is in sleep mode. To exclude the sleep mode the plus pole of the battery can be separated…. I almost hope on the fuses – I come to it easier… Maybe it is also “snucked”, because I yesterday with it was Marc -200km/h in sleep mode -200km/h in sleep mode – I can also post a problem with my elk.

Hello, dear XC90 Mitelcher… just (around 9.30) on Deutschlandfunk (you know, the station, which used to be a TMC transmitter in the RTI, which never shows traffic messages or only 300 km away ) heard a shocking report for SUV drivers: There you want to dramatically increase the car tax and the fees for new registration for off-road vehicles. If this should not lead to a decrease in registration numbers, you want to block narrow roads for parking SUVs, charge higher parking fees for SUVs (why then not actually also for stretch limos?) and and and… Is it all right! I thought Belgium would be Europe?!? Hope that this won’t happen, otherwise Germany may soon see a new source of arrival… with sorry greetings Björn (don’t we also have Belgians here with XC90?)

Hello dear Volvo fans, I sat yesterday in the brand new V 70 of a colleague. Finally I could also sit in the rear with my 1.92 m reasonably, without pinching the kneecap under the chin! 😉 I was quite irritated, however, when I took a seat in the driver’s seat. Although the driver’s seat was fully pushed backwards, the rather sparse leg clearance surprised me very much. I couldn’t take the usual sitting position of my Mazda 323. Recently I drove the current golf as an accident replacement car – for the first time the last position of the driver’s seat was even too far away from the pedals for my legs! Can it be that Volvo was a bit frizzy with the front seats in favor of the leg clearance in the rear? How is your experience with the leg clearance in front, if you have more than 1.90 messest? At any rate, this has turned me pretty much over – then you get into a rough combo, and then you have less leg freedom than in a thugly small car…. Thank you for your information! Hi! I noticed today for the first time that the system gives a clearly audible noise even at a completely quiet volume. Is that just like that with me? So keys on I or higher and system can be on or off (if a, then loud strength is full down). And the noise is to be heard from the speakers! Further I have leafed in the Hidden menus today and I noticed that the standards of the S80 are different in relation to the equalizer, than the 3,3,3,3. etc. specified in the well-known manuals. Also with you? Oh yes, my system is the 850 (?), just with Dolby Surround Pro Logic And still what: Did anyone get it from you to come into the Diagnostic system via the READ button on the left lever in combination with the 3 times activating of the long-distance light? Hello everyone, am currently looking for a new used car. Have already posted in the S40 forum because I have found an S40 EZ 09/01 …. But since I would probably decide for the 2.0T engine this is pretty much the only one I found because I want to spend a maximum of 12 T€. (BJ from 2000,max 100 TKM) As an alternative I have now seen a S80 2.0T EZ 10/2000 . Now I just wanted to know if this one would be missing from the year of construction or if there are more problems as with the S40 before year of construction 01 ? thank you
