  • S80 2,9 engine dies off, round run, misignition

Servus dear community, slowly I am a little desperate… 99ers s80 B6304s3 with the gm automatic transmission, was read today by the dealer of my trust error memory because abgacontroluchte illuminated and emission maintenance seemed urgent. quite at the same time an unround run with ~500rpm in stand and temporarily dying engine in stand, almost no gas acceptance and driving feeling of a tractor. well, error memory read out: – both lambdasonden vo, – misignition cylinder 4 active + not active – misignition cylinder 5 active + not active – misignition cylinder 6 active + not activehttp://data.motor-talk.de/…/20130211-223543-8702026483902873616.jpg mechanic meant yes the unround run comes from the cylinders 4, 5, 6 as ignition coil def. Nothing easier than the, ignition coils replaced, everything assembled, result: nothing! no change. one ignition coil pulled out after the other, all ignition plugs switched, also no change. langs at I am really perplexed, because just because of the lambda probes the error codes should not come and the motor does not spin. oil there, sprite there, nerves away :/ hope for one or other helpful tip best greetings from wien

  • New car battery for Volvo V70 II? Which one is recommended?

Moin @all, an intensive search via SuFu did not yield anything useful, therefore here as a new thread…. With my V70 II, 2.4 T MJ 2003, the battery probably made the grapple. Through a cheerful secondary consumer, which I now still have to identify, it was constantly discharged deep and must now probably be renewed before the winter. Serially the battery has probably around the 70 AH. Now I play with the idea to pack in a battery around the 95 AH. l Sinn, do I have to pay attention (except for the outside dimensions) ? Is there any experience about tests, brands, prices etc. or a link to a comparison test? I am grateful for advice. I am currently in the driving behaviour of the medium-distance drivers, about 4 times a week 75 km, 2 days a week the car stands. Thanks in advance and greetings,

  • RTI DVD player in V70 II defective

Hi, the DVD player in my trunk is on strike. He doesn’t read the DVD anymore. I copied the DVD times to find out if it could be due to the “used” surface – missing. My friendly … was very quick to sell me a new DVD player in exchange, so a repaired replacement device. But I’m not so excited about over 1,100,- EUR cost incl. playing the new software… If you consider that a DVD player for the PC today just This has to be one that meets special requirements for vibration damping, etc. – but honestly, there must be a better solution. Last time I visited Sweden during my vacation, they can’t offer anything cheaper. Is there anyone here who could solve this problem by using personal manual work or someone who knows that in most cases, for example, the reading head must be exchanged??? Ich mein, einen Lötboben habe ich ja schon… 😉 Freue mich sehr über helpfule Reply… Gruß aus HH

  • Volvo V70 II Error problems

Hello all, my Volvo V70 D5 first registration 12/2006 wants to annoy me! 🙁 On the display the message SRS-Airbag is urgently required maintenance and at the same time the radio remote control no longer works properly. The driver door is only open occasionally with all other doors is everything normal. Have the errors read out there were no errors filed, the error message was deleted and for 2 days everything was good. On the ride from work home came the errors I hope one of you already knows this problem and can help me. MfG Bulli1994 (Uwe)

  • Climate disaster: ACC does not cool

Hello Moose friends, when I got into my heated car after work today (jaaa, finally sun again! ) and switched on the climate automatic, nothing happened , i.e. the air does not cool. Otherwise the speed always slows down at short notice and when driving you notice that a few elks are missing, but also there I noticed nothing. However, I still had the impression that when the climate was switched on you heard a “noise” from the engine compartment. The regulation of the fan works but (automatic control) My car is now 5.5 years old, has run 150,000km, until last autumn the climate went still. Can it be that the refrigerant is out, the climate compressor is therefore not under load and therefore you do not notice the typical climate symptoms (short-term deceleration of the speed, power loss)? Thanks in advance for Tips, Eric

  • XC90 with defects

Day People I know your forum for some time and have decided to join me. My first Volvo was a V70 diesel, which drove from 1999 , 4 years and 90000 km without big problems. My second was an XC90 T6 with some flaws: wheel bearings, brakes, gearboxes and rear spring legs(73000 km 1/03-7/08). My new Volvo( 2 weeks old) XC90 V8 Summum with trailer coupling, Navi, rear wheel chamber and auxiliary heating. Now starts the trouble. Fridays picked up, Mondays in the workshop. Hecks The rear flap does not close cleanly, rear window is inserted backwards, slight fronting of the fender on the top right, trim strip on the back right offset(5mm), right rear light is 5mm higher than left, the test week of the tyres is three times the same, only on the back right one week older, when a curb edge is slightly crossed (by parking) a spring leg has jumped out of the plate and now still the hammer: has any of you had similar experiences? I would be very grateful for an answer. Greeting AME Shovel

  • V70 II 2.4 Gasoline comp. with diesel; noise level in the interior

Hello together, I’m planning to buy a Volvo V70 II soon and I’m not sure yet about the engine. I’m reading now across the posts that’s all very helpful.. just not about the noise in the interior. I want to be able to ride the car comfortably 160 km/h on the highway with rather quiet noise. Low speeds would certainly be helpful. I drive about 18,000km a year. A lot of highway but also city. For economic reasons would be a 2.4 with subsequent LPG retrofitting my choice. I just wonder if this makes me “acoustically” happy. What do the other drivers of this model say. Will it be loud at the higher speeds? For 5 years I have been driving a 1.8l Audi A6 of 97. It just turns too high in the speeds and annoys me acoustically. Talks with the children behind are quite exhausting and loud… Or should I use a diesel at a limit of about 8000 instead? the manual transmission): 2.4 l from 2003 with 130,000km you could probably get for approx. 5000,- plus 2000,- LPG. a D5 from 2001 under 180000km could also start from 7500,- would probably be smoother but expensive in maintenance. what do you think? How is the noise in the interior at 160 zw. the 2,4l petrol and a 2,4l D or D5? Thank you for your advice first.

  • Finally, V70R in the garage 🙂 (incl. Rep. questions)

Evening together, I have to create the thread now just to share my joy with you Had the 2.5T with 209hp by last year April and I have always been on a R. Unfortunately there was never a good offer. After that I was absent and on the road with other brands. Since last Sunday I finally got another Volvo under Arxxx It has become a V70R from 2003 with LPG (as well as my Volvo at that time already). A few things are still to be done and up-to-date he also disassembled a bit in the garage, as I wait for the delivery of Skandix. If everything fits he will then be finished on the weekend so that I can register him…hopefully!! Until then I spent most of the time with the care of my new old Dickelch and took a few photos. On the WE I want to get the moose technically fit again. And then there are still two electrical problems on the paper, which I hope with “a little calibrate and update” still in get the grips (ABS ECU and Navi no longer leaves DVDs).
