That the XC90 in normal operation is a front-wheeler and the rear axle only switched on if necessary, was actually known to me. Our car, however, behaves somewhat in this regard in my opinion. the front tires turn fully through until after a few tire turns the traction control intervenes and the performance controls away. When I tried yesterday how this behaves when switched off, the tires turned off in 2 gears until the switching process, a force distribution to the rear axle was not noticeable.
