Hello guys, maybe the one or the other has already made this observation: Tacho-Display Tempo 100 (set with cruise control) View of the PDA-Navi (MN5) : Display at 92 to 93 km/h Higher speed brings even higher deviation. (at 120 are approx. 110 etc.) Who is right ? I would vote for the Navi, if the thing can navigate exactly to 5-10 m, the speed calculation would have to be quite accurate, or am I wrong. Oh, measurement with standard tire en (205er on 16″ rim, that’s not what it should be). Tachos “may” – I think to remember – 4% differ. O.g. values are already strongly above… Would also be important in contact with the green-dressed and their shooting systems 😉 Who has similar experiences ? LG Walter

Summer tires in winter
Hello, have just heard about my XC90 order that the car will be delivered in winter on summer tyres without M+S identification. Do I expect too much that Volvo will not deliver cars that cost me – hardly ever leave the dealer’s yard – 20€ or 40€+1 point? Or have I missed the option somewhere “deliver with winter tyres”? Is that so with all manufacturers? Greeting Ralf

XC90 problem automatic air conditioning
Hello you! Outside it gets colder again and there comes again, the almost forgotten problem: cold feet, draughts, wrong working climate automatics With me will then give again a new workshop round. Many have reported that on longer rides the climat. suddenly switches to cold or wildly regulates. Maybe it is (as already mentioned) the following cause: the enormous heating up of the center console fittings is well known. Maybe it is really because the temperature sensor for the room temperature is also in this panel!! It sucks the air somehow via a small fan (at least the workshop master says) but is firmly connected to the surrounding heated parts. That would explain everything or? Who knows why the temperature sensor is in the middle – where it is supposed to be a two-zone automatic. The friendly spoke of two sensors, but where the second one sits He couldn’t tell me. Furthermore, the fan noises are enormous loud, but only in heating operation – it sounds like,(especially with the middle outflows in the dashboard) as if the fan is running against almost closed flaps – that would also explain the small amount of warm air from this area. What have you researched so far??

D5 Geartronic speed limit
Hello guys! With my new V70 D5 I have now the first 2200 km down and now start to load the engine at high speeds – fully turned it up before but still not under load. The following result amazes me: the engine turns in manual switching mode in 1st and 2nd gear full 5000 rpm, in the 3rd quite casual 4800 rpm, more I could not try, was on the road in the city – please do not calculate now….was definitely faster than Question: Will the speed limiter be used later in the lower gears?? parkbank

V70-II-D5, sudden power loss, what is it?
My V70-II-D5, 163PS+Chip, year 02/2002, 175Tkm, has recently the following Macke: From the normal ride no more power comes out of the acceleration. Max. top speed is then 125km/h with fully penetrated accelerator pedal & the speed does not come over 2500/min. Sometimes the “sleep ride” goes from even after 10 minutes to 1 hour (does fun during holiday trips) again and then is rest for a few days or weeks until it occurs again. Yesterday I stopped then u and the engine turned off, after the restart everything was OK again. Does anyone know what it might be about?

“Schreiender” V70 in wet condition
Hello Volvisti, with my V70R from 2005 the following phenomenon occurred again and again last year: in heavy wet and snow-covered roads a high-frequency, screaming noise sounds, which cannot be changed either by heavy steering movements or by braking. On ski holidays this year I almost went mad to have about 35min. high mountain a screaming companion at the front right… My Volvo master thinks that any plates on the brake would be the reason he h at now written to Volvo.. Does anyone have similar “comfort impairments”? Greetings from the Ohropax subscriber Axel

Tire wear XC90 uneven?
On the inside of the tires there are still a minimum of 8mm profile on the Laengsrille after 29tkm, while the outer laengsrille has only 2-3mm. And this on all four wheels. Have you observed similar things? This is not normal, but it won’t be a adjusted track/sturch either, since it affects both axles the same way.

V70 2.4 163 PS opinion of experts
Hello dear community, I just opened up here and look for your opinion about a used V70 2.4 163 HP Black Edition. The vehicle has an EZ 03/2004 and about 31000km down. What do you have to look at or take a closer look at? Is such a purchase at the moment (Particle filter drama ) advisable? Did the vehicle test and did not find the engine bad. What does such a machine need on average? It was striking for me that the suspensions of the exhaust system (a kind of round iron ) already were very rusty?? So, let’s hear from you! Greetings from ER Lalla at the moment. Saab 900S

XC90 and others: digital broadcasting
I know: Is there still a long way to go, but I read in the newspaper today that there is already a binding agreement of the radio inventors (??) to distribute radio only digitally from 2010 onwards. All current vehicles – apart from accidents – will also be on the wheels in 2010. What do I do with my Dolby Surround Dingsbum? How do I explain to a potential buyer that he can only listen to music if he sings himself? Greet Frank – something – but not very – hasty!

CarImageAll wheel: XC90 V8 in test against Q7, Commander and Cadillac
In AutoBildAllesAllesAllesrad were tested 7-seater V8 SUV. Result: 1. Audi Q7, 2. Jeep Commander (Hemi V8), 3. XC90, 4. Cadillac SRX The XC90 only lands behind the Jeep because of the terrain classification (clearly, no one arrives against the Commander, even the Q7 not) and because the Jeep is the most cost-effective V8 on the market. Overall, I think the test results are ok, but the Audi seems to me a little “overvalued”, its sheer size (i.e. outer length, inside it is comparatively scarce) The testers probably also impressed. Otherwise the usual praise and rebuke, especially the question about the V8-sense (in view of rising fuel prices). rolo
