Hi, a few days ago I had already thrown a question into the round ( delivery stop to Italy ), unfortunately I have hardly received any answers except about 80% unqualified crap. Now I have to correct myself even: ALSO, the thing is even more complicated, allegedly there is currently no possibility to bring reimports to Germany, but the vehicles should already have arrived in the exporting countries. However, it would be even no matter from which country the cars should be imported !! When I called Volvo Germany they knew of course of not’s, but was probably also not to be expected, because this is forbidden under EU directive. Has someone received a new car from abroad in the last weeks and if so from which country and from which dealer ?

Hello guys, I had to say yesterday when I switched to WR with horror that my summer tyres have only 3mm profile at the front. Well, that may not be special for some people, but I have so far only driven about 20Tkm, exactly one summer long. Is that normal with the D5, that he is leaving the rubber like that? In April the decision was made on the thickness of Volvo. Buying advice Volvo V70 – which engine? Hello, I’m hard to think about buying a used Volvo V70 (around the year 2002). But which engine is best? Think about the 2.5l 140 hp or 170 hp, or the T5 with 250 hp? What are your experiences about fuel consumption, maintenance costs and repair costs? Drive a lot of highways with mostly 160 km/h. Hello all, I’m back after a long time. The latest: I just got a letter, in which the latest update of the RTI is widely praised. Does someone already have experiences with it? There are now 3 (three!!!) DVD’s (not CD’s but DVD’s). Eastern Europe has come to this – but 3 DVD’s. Where there is only one single drive. Should I play discjokey or what? If I drive from D via Benelux to F and then to CH I have to change the DVD between 3x – or how does that work? Probably everything is fed with information. Like: at which molehill there are most activities or all pubs the Buds have!!!??? The price has been reduced however – should now cost 249 € (is only 83 € per DVD). I look forward to the reviews. Hello you! I got an A 6 3.0 TDI for testing 2 days ago. Was also curious about the highly praised DSP Bose sound system. Apart from the fact that the car is purely driving technically a force, I could see how good the premium sound system is in our Volvos. At first I thought yes, “uuups here is probably nothing activated or set – or all sound adjustment possibilities are set to “0”. I then tried to adjust everything that went: high-deep sound, etc. – everything was perfectly set. Oh mann…. that was like day and night to Volvo!! It sounded rather miserable – the middle frequencies were completely excessive, low bass did not exist ( maybe so far down to 60 Hz ) … long not the brilliant resolution as in Volvo. Certainly the criterion “sound in the car” will not be buying for many, but for me as a small sound freak it was a bitter disappointment what Audi put on its feet.

Hello together, slowly but surely matures in me the thought of replacing my current elk (V70 D5 MJ2003) for a new one (o.k., I will have to put a few eurons on it). Anyway, at the moment I am still at the very beginning and wonder which model it should be at all. I know the V70, has a few small quirks, but otherwise a very nice car, which you do not see at every corner, understatement pure. And then still as a new D5, would tempt me. But the XC90 is not to be despised either. To look at it nice, a lot of space in it and somehow a bit top-classer than the V70. I can’t really decide. Of course, there is also the rational side: purchase price, driving performance, consumption, etc. But apart from that would interest me why you have decided for one or the other elk. Does it only happen to me or does it agree that here the contributions about the XC90 extremely frequent L?

Hello together, although I had actually planned not to buy a Volvo anymore (x workshop stays during the first two years), it will be one again, since the competitors have nothing adequate to offer me. And since about one and a half years the current V 70 D5 runs as easily as I had always expected. So, in the spring a new one has to come. I would like to change the XC 70 quite well.
