    Hello together, funny thread title, right? I would like to see two or three Volvos (V70 II 2.4 20V 170 hp) in the far north next week – for me from Lake Chiemsee a day trip. Experience in the purchase of used cars is quite available, but in the eagerness of the battle I always forget something – and unfortunately I am not really fit on this model (yet). Now my idea was the following: A nice and well-informed V70 II person keeps himself ready for one or two video meetings by smartphone and inspects the car “with me” in peace and quiet, while I crawl around there and he lies in bed because of me – I wouldn’t care. I would have thought about 50 € compensation per appointment, that would be worth it to me. How do you find it, would you know someone or would have someone for this experiment?     Hello, with my T5 I noticed that with a DZ of approx. 4000U a slight kink occurs, a short hold of the charging pressure and then goes on. It is not a sinking, but only a small plateau (at approx. 0.75bar). It happens to me that the phenomenon is less pronounced at temperatures below 22°C.     I’ve been looking for a reasonable 7-seater for a long time (we have 3 children). the xc90 is at the top of my list – only I don’t know this car at all. now I’ve got a good offer for a bj05 with 120000km. first possession, purchase from the dealer, 12 months guarantee. my question is whether you can buy the car with this km stand without hesitation, or if I have to reckon with göberen problems in the next few years? what should I pay attention to? many thanks for your support, martin

    A nice jute evening on everyone’s side I have a try with my elk and maybe you can help me further. to the vehicle V70 T5 Geotronic gearbox , Gas , Kombi , ca 250 000 down bj 2000 When I wanted to start driving today I could start normal and start driving – it was nothing extraordinary to hear. after a few meters driving a new course although put in but also no more . there was no further acceleration but !!!!! the vehicle rolled out like in idle. a new attempt to insert a gear remained unsuccessful. switch however zero reaction engine issued and short time later rebooted (thought the onboard computer has hung up) gear inserted and only about 10 advance. the whole several times repeatedly without change. the elk moved always only briefly. Did also the battery clamped off briefly and it did not change anything. engine just turns up – no more What could it scratch its ?????

  • S80 – Cracking during load change (pre- and reset)

    Hello Volvo driver, for a short time my S80 has had a relatively loud cracking in the range of the right drive shaft, drive shaft joints, wheel mount (at least in this area). This happens when I park for example and set back and forward. If I drive backwards, there is a unique cracking. If I then switch into the first gear and let the clutch come, it cracks again. It feels as if there is a certain game in the drive train. At least this reports my highly sensitive popometer. The cracking occurs also in this context of the advance and reset. Otherwise there is peace of mind. First investigations showed that the tap of the drive shaft in the wheel hub should be used again with Loctite.   • XC90 Ocean Race D5 – Question about offer and DPF

    Hello everyone. I drove an S80 until 2009 and rather by chance saw a nice XC90 at a dealer who jumped right into my eye. What do you think about this offer: XC90 D5 Ocean Race, 185PS, hand switch, Blaumet., Xenon, PDC, telephone, e. seats, driver seat with memory, cruisemat, disks darkened at the rear, level control, 5 seaters, etc. EZ: 08/2008, approx. 57.000km, 1. Hd., checkbook, makes a very well-kept – almost new impression. It should cost including new TÜV and 1 year warranty 28,000.-€. At the moment I drive a Zafira petroler, because I had serious problems with a passat with DPF. Actually I don’t want any more diesel, but the Xruck90 as a petroler will probably be a bit more expensive in maintenance. My question is now how it looks at the D5(185PS) on a long view, if you drive only country road? I have a duty of approx. 25km.

    I’m very grateful to my father for driving a V70 2 T5 with 250 hp. he doesn’t mind that he always has to turn the engine so much, if he wants to skip ect. . at 90 you have to switch it loosely in the 3rd and that might make him fun, but it would also be good if you had a little more NM and didn’t have to turn it so high.   • Navi update – CD/DVD not readable

    Hello, I now wanted to update my Navi SW old 760 to the new version and of course use the new DVD. When pushing the CD ROM with me comes the error message “This drive can not read the DVD”. Tests with shutting out, restarting the Navi etc. led to no success. Likewise he can not read any of the three new DVDs. Weird, with the “old” DVD he has no problems to read and navigate.
