Herbe Disappointment RTI – remedy?
Hello together, first I have to say once, after 3 days Volvo (our first to Mercedes, Peugeot) and 2,000 km on our holiday journey southward we are fully satisfied with the Volvo D5. Sparable, powerful, comfortable and plenty of space. Now only the children have to come to the world… So to say this first thing: The Volvo has been the best choice for us next to a 5 BMW kombi or the E-Class combi, so I don’t want to make the car bad, just because I (we) are not satisfied with the Navi. But (trotzdem)… : So, as far as the RTI-Uschi is concerned: There is my very first Aldi-Uschi still the best navigation system, what there is. And maybe still the Mercedes installation solution in the C-Class. Rechnet fast, is clear and pre-alternatively? the Aldi variant has to turn the alternative route super fast again, because because because of the relative lack of visibility of the display has missed a junction. Resonant noise at 1600-1700rpm
Hello! I have to say hello to you today, maybe one of you knows my problem and can help me… My V70ll 2.4T automatic from 2000 makes strange noises. And indeed under load at approx. 1600 to 1700 revolutions. It sounds like the resonance of a sheet metal, heat shield or something like that, but a little bit deeper. It’s not really to be found, here’s a summary: – noise only under load (starting or standing in driving stage and with brake) – no noise at appropriate speed without load – no noise change by steering or shutting down electric consumer or the air conditioning – noise is gone, if the wedge belt is not mounted – apparently the noise is more present in cold vehicle or at the now prevailing outdoor temperatures I suspect the origin now times in the belt drive and indeed especially in the servo pump. Why the noise then only occurs under load, however, I can’t really explain again to myself again. Maybe it has something to do with rotational imbalances of the engine, which are just stronger under load. Because of this assumption I have used the servo oil. But I didn’t have a change.

Automatic gearbox defective????ß
Hello Ride a S80 2.9 Geartronic. The latest automatic spins. Turns off very incorrect and sometimes hangs in the 3rd stage. Then no other gear can be inserted manually. The dealer has already tried it with new software, misstatement. Change of gear oil. Also brought nothing. Errors appear again and again and additionally in the diplay “Maintenance Gearbox” is urgent. If the automatic has “hanged up” (in the 3rd course) I only have to switch off ignition and restart, then it goes again for a few minutes. The dealer was now the opinion a control part with magnetic switches?? to change about 2000€. Today he has called me, he would have found chips in the oil of the gear and would like to change the gear straight away (about 500€). But I think he just wants to change that, because he doesn’t know where the fault comes from. An automatic transmission after only 99,000 km can’t be. Car never had a trailer operation. Someone knows advice?

Hupe doesn’t work -> new steering wheel is due!?
Hello municipality, with our XC90 from 10.2007 hr for 1-2 years the right area of activity (on the airbag) very difficult. The pressure point is reached, but it does not honk. In danger situations it happened with already 3-4 times, that I pressed with right on the horn but the car didn’t give a tone of itself. On the left it always works, but the “Hupgund” has usually already done itself. Are there similar experiences here? So far for more than 200,- € unsuccessful works were carried out. ? Experience with Bluetooth hands-free in V70 ?
Hello guys, because I don’t like the “big” free-receiver from Volvo (keyboard in dashboard; 2nd SIM car; handset in the center console) etc. also wg. of the sound not so great, my dealer recommended the BLUETOOTH solution (cost approx.450 €). Does anyone have the thing in the V70 ? Experience with sound and operation ? Where is the Micro ? Radio mute circuit ? … … Are there descriptions about functions, operation and supported devices ( Have a Siemens S75-mobile) Thanks for hints !!!

XC90 Chiptuning
Hello first of all, the thought of adding an XC90 D5 (185hp) hand switch is maturing more and more in me. But have there again a question, what does it look like with this vehicle with a chip tuning. 1. What did it do with power, PS, torque? 2. What about the fuel consumption? Does this rise? 3. What effect does this have on the insurance and car tax? 4. Which supplier is recommended here? Or have it installed directly by the dealer? 5. Does the Einabu impact on the warranty? 6. How high are the costs for the part + installation? Certainly one or the other has been discussed here in the forum. Have already found different posts. Pear wear
This morning I had to fix “Pos. Luminaires Control” again. That would be: 2 * Fixing the standlight in the back by “knocking on the pear” (want to change it, only once ing again) 2 * Fixed the standlight in the back by changing the bulb (birne was black) 2 * Fixed the brake light in the back by changing the bulb. The car (S60) is Bhj. Oct. 2001 and I drive it since the end of Sep. 2005. Is this wear normal? Before Nissan (Bhj 94) drove and did not have to change a single bulb in 5,5 years. What still bothers me is that if you give a little bit of gas to drive backwaerts etc. the pears light a little darker. If you give n bit more gas they come back to their “normal” luminosity – is that normal?

Baggage cover XC90 clatters
Only since Friday moose drivers I am of course a little sensitive to noise at the moment… However, my OHL also confirmed to me to hear a clear noise from the area of the cargo space cover – I mean to be able to concentrate this on the right attachment behind the seat row. Is this a known problem for which there is a simple solution? Or do I have to go to my already with such a thing – actually only small stuff – on the sinkel?
