Hello, I may have the opportunity to organize OZ Hydra rims 8Jx18 H2 ET35 (wheel type: 01652 201) including the following tyres: 225/35 R18. I fear, however, that the 225/35 R18 is not sufficiently sustainable. Can anyone help me? At the moment drive the Thor 17″ on my D5, year 2004. As far as I can see this as layman, my car is in the current report of the OZ Hydra, but under tires only 225/40 R18 is in it. The rim is really chic. k. Would be stupid if I had to throw down the 225/35 just to raise 225/40. Sorry, but I am in terms of rims, press-in depths etc. unfortunately real layman! Thank you! Have added the current report.

XC90 PDC front
Hello together, someone can tell me what a PDC retrofit costs in the front incl. the bumper protection and installation of the XC90 Mod.06. My friend firmly claims that the bumper protection is extra and costs everything together around 1100.- Euro. In my accessory price list from 2007 however “parking aid incl. bumper protection” for the model years 2005-2006 for 410.-Euro incl. VAT. Thank you in advance.

Volvo V70 or S80 short bearing if possible
Hi guys, we’re currently driving an Opel Omega 2.0 16V Bj 98. We’re looking for a Volvo, we’ve already looked at a V70 with 170 Ps and 2.4 liters. Nice thing so with climate, leather, glass roof, heater, E-seat and so Bj 2000 and 168Tkm on the clock for 7500 euros. The H.ändler also had a Dekra expert report, I don’t give that much. Today we’re looking at a S80 Bj 10.2001 with also 2.4 liters and 170 hp. He also has leather, climate, car phone system, and Radi/Cd HU 6 01, DSTC and Tempomat etc for 5800 Euro ach ja 156Tkm on the clock. What should one pay attention to, what says the verbauch are both automatic 🙂 should be so desired. What do the parts do so, rust etc. Would be grateful for any answer and help. Lg Martin

Questions about switching from XC60 to XC90
A happy hello to the round of moose drivers! Please be lenient with me, because this is my first post in this great forum (Prosecco is at the end). So if I do something wrong or have not noticed, please don’t start scolding. My experiences with Volvo, however, are not so virginal in nature. After V50, V70 and an XC60 I am now faced with the decision to put a big brother at the side of the XC60 and put the V70 in the eternal hunting grounds with the XC90 D5 I plan to drive about 25,000 km a year, lots of city traffic, but also really long distances in the high north or the deep south of Italy. Simply roof box on it, then all two and four-legged friends on board – and let’s go. With the XC90 I hope to make the arrival and departure in the holiday to an event. V70 – Experience with Wrkstatt
Hello together, had said some time ago that I would give feedback about the workshop visit and the little woeWhchen which the V70 had: 1) Metallic rattles below the vehicle at 2000 tours in the 3rd gear: Someone had suspected here that it could be a loose tin from the cat and so it was also according to friendly. Only unfortunately he could not permanently turn it off. 1-2 days went well and now it rattles again 2) Very sporadic but very annoying Qu Itching on the A-pillar on the driver’s side: According to the friendly, nothing found even though everything around the A-pillar is disassembled and reassembled. Result: squeaking again appeared on BUT much quieter. 3) Ventilation nozzles in the center console, both controllers to 20 degrees, left nozzle = warm air, right nozzle = cold air: According to the friendly known and to fix by software update. Software was replayed according to the friendly and climate system “adjusted” BUT … this morning at 12 degrees outside temperature … warm on the left, cold on the right! Pustic cake ! Furthermore, I could observe the following: If I set the right temp control to maximum temp and then turn the blower up fully, after a few seconds GAR NO AIR comes more from both middle nozzles !?!?!? 4) The worst thing in my opinion, however, is that since the car is back from the friendly one, one thinks that the car suddenly has trecker tires on it, so loud are the driving noises. but it doesn’t grind anything on the tires, that’s what I’m ready to look at, the air pressure is also OK. What can that be? Did they forget their tools in my wheel cat or what? Could it also grind on the drive axle? Warning flasher
For a long time I believed that the technology of the Volvo – compared to other premium brands – is rather traditional. However, I have my doubts recently. Until then, the full clapping of the Blinkrelais reminded me of the ride in the VW-Käfer about 20 years ago. The Klack Klack Klack has always been like this, is like this today and will always be like this at Volvo. I thought. Until I first activated the warning flasher and immediately missed this sound. Was the flasher broken? Was the relay contact broken. But a gang around the car showed that everything was flashing and everything was fine. Only the full clapping of the Blinkrelais was missing completely. Since then I can imagine that Volvo is only faking the tradition. The cracking sound of the Blinker is synthetic and virtual and is probably only generated by a microprocessor-controlled sound system when the Blinklebel is activated. Fortunately, the development engineers forgot to integrate the Blinklebster into this system. the fact that the Volvo’s technology is in line with the state of the art that other vehicles will only reach in twenty years’ time – if at all. Or is there another reason why the warning flasher doesn’t crack?
