Hello municipality, I’ve been reading here for a while, but I don’t know that the following has already been the subject of discussion. Who cares about the utopian indication of the driving time of the RTI, which is especially noticeable with longer distances. Am I constantly travelling too fast, or can RTI not count on it. How can it be that with a distance of 680km the thing shows 3 hours too much? Had only a 1r with Navi last week and the correction of the ANKUNFTSZEIT played on a distance of 120km with 20% land road share in the minute area. Does the other thing go that way, or is it just annoying me so much? Greetings Michael

Large people ( 195 cm) in V 70 II
Hello, who is as big as me (195 cm) and has a V70 comparable Volvo. ( XC 70, is S 80 compatible to the B-pillar ?) With the adjustable “upholstery” and “backseat all the way down and back” it goes. However, I feel the space conditions in total as “beengt”. No fear ! The seats in the combos of VW,AUDI,Toyota, Honda, Fiat, Opel can be forgotten in contrast to the V 70 all. ( just tried out all mentioned ) XC90 is for me no alternative ! (social envy – colleagues drive all golf or smaller) Is it also so? Greeting Jens

Unbalance through snow
Servus mitanand, my XC70 gives me a lot of pleasure, even in the deeper snow, through which I am partly professionally conditioned, partly privately motivated to travel again and again (why should I drive around the forest, if there is such a wonderful forest path in the middle, which is just not cleared now to the poodle core. I have mounted the Dunlop Winter SP3, on steel rims, original Volvo with round hole. Every time I had such a deep snow ride, the snow sticks to the rims and ensures such a marked imbalance of the wheels that a faster country roads or even highway ride is impossible. So get out, clean rims, continue driving. Not bad, but it annoys me, even with no one of its predecessors. Do you have that, if you do not do so. Can you treat the rims?

XC 90 D5 speed limiter ?
Hello guys, I was now east with my big guy decently on the road, now 5000km on it and I let him fly so properly – with geartronic unchiped and winter tyres at 4200 rpm according to tacho 195 , but was then close (actually far too fast for a moving high house). he slowed down and did not go downhill beyond this speed. can be that here the limiter uses quite soft, so no jerking and so only a slight brake can be felt. thank you in advance for your contributions. Gruss Thomas

Used S80 with long service life
Hello, at present I love it with a well-equipped S80 2.9 Geartronic from 2001, which makes a solid impression inside and outside, and – as far as I can judge this as a technical layman – despite almost 100tkm driving properly, even if the engine sounds a little tinkering. However, the vehicle has already been shut down since February 200_4_, i.e. for almost 1 1/2 years. The used car dealer does not know the reason. He allegedly received the S80 only two months ago in a package with other vehicles from a Volvo dealer. I called the previous owner registered in the letter. He confirmed the mileage of the S80 and told me to have sold the vehicle only for financial reasons February 2004 to a Vovlo dealer. Technical flaws are not known to him. To this extent everything seems to be in the green area. – Nevertheless, because of the long period of non-use of abdominal pain? My questions: 1. I need to be aware of the long time when the S80 was not registered and thus hardly moved to the technical problems. (professionally was not accepted as a vehicle or a bad thing.) I can not be sure about the same.

How much mah are running through the on-board network of our big ships?
Hello technician! Somewhere I could read how much milliampere resting current in our elks slumber – now I would be interested in how much it is, if the elks are awake or “under current”? After I have burned a walkman with power consumption 150mah over a power supply with 1000mah, I have become a bit careful about the things that I want to hang onto the board net. Specifically I mean the usual sockets or the light lines (reversible headlights). (Since I am a non-technician, I would like to see bad comments if I should have asked something “dumb” lG Richard

Stand-up heating no longer works
Moin together, have been having problems with the SH with my V70D5 MY2002 for a long time. It just doesn’t work anymore, despite enough diesel in the tank, full of battery and even standing area. At direct start, the display goes short on ON, after approx. 2 sec on off. Ok, at the current temperatures, that’s not so bad, but the winter is again at the door. Has anyone had similar problems? Greeting Tom

Is the purchase of an S60 even worth it?
Hello, I’ve been looking for something here to inform me about the S60. Since I might want to buy a S60 2.4. I’m sure there are more negative reports in Internet forums than positive ones, I’m already aware of that. Only what I have here so gelsen, starting with an ominous clacker which can be removed with glue, through throttle valves defective, bad automatic transmissions etc., leaves me almost the impression that a Volvo overall is perhaps not such a good choice. Although I could only collect very positive impressions during a test drive, which I made some time ago in the S60 D5. My idea goes towards S60 2.4 with no more than 40,000 km on the clock. So a Volvo S60 is really sooo mies, or is the impression, and I don’t need to worry about buying it.

XC90 V8 versus ML
Hello, here’s a brief statement to my comparison M-Class (previously ML 320 for 1 day) and XC 90 (mostly V8 for only hours). Worse on the XC 90: 1. He already clapped clearly (new car) and had a much worse suspension comfort than the but with Airmatic equipped ML. There seems to be an air suspension for the Volvo however. 2. The surround system (built therefore was the max. variant of the sound) brought a certain surround effect, but it was like 1 stereo channel from the front center, the other (and clearly overemphasized) from the rear center. I know with sound quite well and was disappointed. However, even with a better adjustment in balance/fading can still be improved there something? I found better at the XC90 (V8) to speak the door panels and the size/sicht area of the exterior mirrors. Also, the presence of a heated front disk and the better combinable (with Mercedes limited) double glazing is good for me too.

Boah, I got a neck!
Has anyone ever tried to change the light bulb in the back of the V70 MY ’04? The stupid part sits exactly between the two flaps that you can open, and since you can look so bad in there, you can’t really get any further… The lower flap is too deep and at the top I didn’t get the sh*** speaker out. My fingertips were already deaf from the cold and the pressing… That was the second time that I drove at ATU unfinished things again, the first time, because there is no lamp with the designation, as it is in the manual… And don’t come with TRFM now! I can read and I don’t have two left hands, so here with Praxitips. Gruss, Dirk
