    Hello Elche…. After the meeting with the Westerwald I was still a leader who reached Tacho 219… Sundays after the meeting I drove home in the Volvo and my wife in the Mini… On the highway you started to push… And I drove away with a grin though my Swedes cruiser only worked from 100 KM/H before! After I quickly reached the limiter speed downhill, I was sure that I had now “rest” before “you”! But what comes from behind…..a mini… With a grinning face my wife drives past my elk, in the back my laughing daughter waved to me briefly, and drive up to the next climb ahead way! Sure there I had caught you again quickly…. So I find since Sunday the limiter has to be out!And a sixth gear should also be possible slowly!And all with particle filter and then hopefully 186 PS!!! As an appendix still a photo of the Minitacho:! Last said the highway absolutely no speed limit…

  • xc70d5 measured power 149PS

    The xc70d5 (year 2004, 50T€) is already a great car, if not the d5 engine in there. As a changer of a passat TDI 130PS 6G. I am very disappointed by the power, torque and suit. After all, I manage to stay on the mountain at a 100PS Golf TDi grade so. Therefore, I had the car tested by an expert on an all-wheel test bench. Result: 149 hp and torque of 330Nm at a top at 2200U/min, then strongly sloping. So outside the specification. Volvo itself eats around. So where should you look for the error? How can you get an acceptable performance? Hilllffäääääääääääää……………………….so’n Mist! Oh by the way: Before the car contemplates gas, two sad seconds pass.

  • Info about FOUR-C

    Hello together, in my current V70 AWD with level control, driving in laden condition is also a real pleasure with Caravan. Now the friendly one offered me an almost new XC70 AWD with FOUR-C chassis. According to the seller, an electronically controlled level control is included in the FOUR-C, which immediately compensates the level and not only after passing over some unevennesses as in the level mat. Just faster, more precisely, on all four wheels and simply better. The workshop manager could not give me any information about this and referred me to the sale. Can someone confirm or deny that I can find no more accurate information about Four-C and if I have bought the XC it is too late. Please answer and possibly indicate links with information better than the information set by VOLVO on the Internet.

    moin, moin, I don’t know if the topic has already been discussed extensively. these two decorative plates under the xc90 (I think for the xc70 they are also available) made of plastic. I have now seen several sweden on the a7 gen norden with real eldestahl plates under them. looks really noble and stands the elch more than good. does someone know where to get something like this in Germany, so that it is also acceptable?

    Gentlemen, I didn’t compare it and I didn’t count it. I bought myself a Volvo XC 90 V8 and I think there’s pretty much everything in it. My five-month-old Weimaraner loves the car, just like I do and after I passed the “two hundred and fifteen mark” with the “tank” I was also satisfied, because for everything else there are other vehicles for me. So I’m looking forward to learning more about my new car with you in the future. I could still admit here that the economy of a V8 has nothing to do with gasoline prices or the indifference of the “server operators” as we are, but also with the future of the planet on which we live. One more reason to decide for a Volvo aggregate because I have the feeling: “this is what is done in terms of Bi-Fuel-what-so-ever….!” By the way, the Volvo XC90 V8 is my first own car! Have I shared an Audi 50 Bj 1978 after acquiring my driving license with my girlfriend and since then since then, and since then I’ve discovered the bicycle.

As a regular observer – already long before my registration – I was able to take advantage of the contributions often and abundantly. But I think it is also sometimes appropriate to praise VOLVO. I drove with enthusiasm the S60 D5 and now I have switched to the S80 D5 -titangrey- and after 1 1/2 months and approx. 5800 km with the driving characteristics more than satisfied. Both vehicles at each time without defects. I hope it remains so. After 40 years of driving practice I measure this judgment simply times. Perhaps here also a positive hint helps with the decision.   • XC70 (P2/2007) “Four-C maintenance required” – DTC error DEM0006 pump – wrong signal

    Hello together, on an XC70 from 2007 with approx. 160,000km the error message “Four-C maintenance required” is present. I started from a suspension problem of the Four-C system. However, when reading the error memory of the DEM module I received the error message: “DEM0006 – conveying pump false signal” A check of the live data showed that the DEM can be easily controlled, but the pump pressure in the Haldex coupling remains at 0 bar. I therefore assume from a problem of the Haldex pump. Does anyone have relevant information about this error message? Greetings!

    Hi, today shortly before arriving at home in the on-board computer the message “Slow driving or up-turning” in connection with the motor electronics lamp (blinking). The engine power was drastically reduced – the moose sounds like a tank. Or as is often said here so nicely: He had this sonorous 5-cylinder sound – at actually eight not sooo great. He runs too low, takes only very slowly gas, goes after a few seconds in idle run also. Since also after reset (turn off, wait, restart) nothing is changed, I am careful the last 2 km home and the Volvo-Assistance has organized the tow truck in my workshop friendly and very quickly. I hope that it is nothing worse – tomorrow I actually wanted to bring my family incl. caravans to Bensersiel. Nice greeting Jürgen the one engaged: He organizes a V70 with AHK so that OHL and kids don’t have to cancel their holidays if the Dickich doesn’t flow again tomorrow.

  • XC 90/ D5 with 205 hp

    Hello, as I am thinking of leasing the XC90 D5 Executive as the next business vehicle, I asked the local Volvo dealer last WE regarding the use of the current D5 diesel engine with 205 hp in the XC 90. His answer was that the new D5 engine “probably from March/April 2010” will be used in the XC 90. Does one of you have similar or definitive information about this? Thank you, atelier15
