Hello friends Since my Sintra slowly after 350000 tkm needs more attention again and the needed spare parts on the list more and more we want to separate ourselves from the thick ones now. I actually wanted an E61 535d there but my wife does not like for them again a 7 seater. Now when entering on the Internet I have got stuck some way like the Xc90. At first this was not my thing but the more I deal with the thick ones the more it pleases me. Now it is certain that we buy us an XC90 but which ones. I have a VOLVO V70 II Kombi 2.4 140 hp, chassis no. YV1SW65P912067012, and unfortunately the engine control unit is defective. My Garagist thinks that there is no replacement control unit from demolition/recycling can be installed, except the software would be reset. How can I reset the software? If the control unit has a different chassis no. than that of my vehicle the installation does not work. From Dr. V70 I read that it uses a Motorola programming device for this – where can I get the part? Are there alternatives? Thank you for your tips, Asi Volvo

Hello, yesterday I left my 3.5 year old XC 90 D5 and drive since the brand new XC 90 D5 sport. First impression: better automatic, car pulls more evenly, despite chip tuning in the old no power difference to the new (so far) noticeable, super seats with side support – in detail later. Now on my topic (I am lay): In the center console there is an AUX connector, which should be suitable for connection among other things of an IPod. My IPod Mini has beside the headphone connector an ipod-specific cable, which leads into a USB plug – does not fit on AUX! What do you do? At Saturn you sell IPods, but have no idea and no suitable cable. Is there a USB-to-USB connection, which results in an AUX plug (small)? I have not asked the friendly one yet. Who knows advice? I’ve been driving for about 3 months now and now almost 8000km my XC90 D5 GT MJ 08. Now I’m a little confused about the consumption? Actually, I’m a balanced driver (…or what the XC90 makes of one), i.e. I drive in town without great rear-facing and also on the highway mostly with cruise control between 120 and 140. But I almost never get under 11 liters by car? Sure if I’m in a hurry and I’m very fast on the road, the consumption increases exorbitantly and the BC shows 15l and more, but that’s the big exception with me. With what consumption do you get there? I only mean that the low-priced consumption (Lt. Manufacturer) for me in class comparison was AUCH an argument for the XC90. I had for example a GrandCherokee 3.0 for a week for testing and he had a lower consumption, than now my XC90? Hello has this experience already one of you at a V70 ? BJ 2001 On the remote control are following options. Lock , Unlock boot lock and lighting (round yellow button) . – Have now tried Lock 2x short one after the other and also pressed longer while locking but disc remains below . Sure, the XC 90 is not produced in China and the supplies remain the same, but what is in 3 – 4 years? Reselling chance for a “Chinese”? What about Kulanz? Is my good Volvo dealer no longer a Volvo dealer in the near future…. How do you see this?
