  • Are you happy with your XC70?

Hello, starting from the survey for him I would like to ask the question of the questions here. I quote: Quotation: Now I read so often already from dissatisfied … drivers, that slowly really the question arises to me, how so the end user really thinks about the car now. I is of course clear that in a forum mostly problems and dissatisfaction are discussed. So hand on the heart: how satisfied are you really with the XC70? It would also be nice if you can present Pro and Kontra briefly here … Greeting Tom (and for the fifth time very eagerly looking forward to the answers!)

  • Please to Volvo: Brake Assist with horn

And now I drive the A40 from Essen to Duisburg, when in an 80km/h zone a middle-aged lady, with her Opel Astra, from the acceleration strip still has enough time to the next appointment, is driving on the track. So far everything is normal, only that she leaves the turn signal on the left, makes me a bit stubborn (and attentive). Suddenly white lights at her rear, the car goes up in the back and sometimes also the brake lights on. I reacted immediately, despite the heat, just like the brake assistant too. Unfortunately, I could only push the horn a quarter of a second later, because my multitasking skills are even more limited in such situations than usual. Couldn’t you combine the brake assistant with the horn? With flickering backlights, that’s what I could have used, by the way, since the Omega Caravan, who drove behind me, but then with a good distance, had nothing better to do than turn on me (Ars**, what can I do for it!) But what made me look like a ride on the ride, because I had a ride on the car, because I had a ride on the car.

  • Note: Light on!

Yesterday evening it happened: Outside light twilight … I get into my moose and drive off. All instruments are perfectly read out because perfectly lit. If you are not used to it, you don’t think that light should be included, because you still see (almost) everything and the cockpit is also perfectly illuminated. Only when a few approaching drivers blinked at me, I noticed that I was driving completely without light. If only I had noticed that everything was perfectly illuminated in the vehicle and it wasn’t sooo dark outside. Quite dangerous! Nice and helpful would be a little hint here, maybe a warton or a small illuminated symbol in the amaturary board … Greeting Jan

  • XC90 D5: unfortunately need new summer tires – which are the best?

Now have 42,000 KM down with the XC90 D5, of which about 14,000 KM with Michelin winter tires and 28,000 KM with the standard Conti summer tires. The Michelin still have almost full profile, the Conti have especially in the last months greatly degraded – 28,000 KM that is in my view much too little. So I don’t want Conti anymore (apart from that they also “sing” a bit annoyingly. Which all-wheeled summer tires can you recommend to me and how much KM do they run according to your opinion? Rolo his previous Ford Explorer over 60,000 KM ran with the first set “Firestone Wilderness AT” (which unfortunately does not exist in Germany!).

  • Question to the offroaders: Is this winch good?

Hi together, would like to put this winch (just in case – so not daily use 😉 in the trunk. Is this garbage or could you lie down? Good ride! Torsten – the XC fan (and the price I find OK, but have no comparison/experience)

  • Momentum or Executive

Hello, this is my first post and needs a few tips from you. I’ll order an XC90 D5 Geartronic, but I’m not sure which equipment line. Is Executive worth it and are there any disadvantages? Is the extra €900 for the premium sound system worth it? Otherwise the equipment is already fixed: RTI,PDC, Schwarmet., laminated glass, GSD, wood and 18″ Thank you for your help in advance. mihvolvo

  • 2.5T vs. D5?

Hello forum, now to my second fundamental question (if you can answer it at all): How does the 2.5T in the V70 compare to the D5 (163hp)? Or otherwise: Does the 2.5T harmonize well with the around 1.7 tons of the V70? Thank you in advance, Sebi70

  • current v70: headpiece adjustable?

I sat in a brand new v70 today (oooh yes!) and somehow it was a bit uncomfortable. after a while I had out what it was about: the head rest is too far ahead. so at least in the relationship to my my02. t-martin had at the spreewaldtreffen also something of uncomfortable sitting and the head rest told. but somehow I could hardly believe it =;^) now I know what he must have meant! can you somehow adjust the head rest? or do you say at volvo recently: main thing sure, unfortunately uncomfortable for that?

  • Large-scale transport

Hello you moose drivers, I am currently waiting for an XC90 and mine is not able to tell me exactly when the boy is coming; or he doesn’t want – so in my industry I can track every floppy from the sender to the recipient – that can UPS and how they all are called best. Can’t one really do that with the Swedes? Can’t he ask if the moose is loaded? I mean he can’t arrive before he is sent away and depending on when he is sent, then it turns out when he arrives – it really doesn’t make sense to me that this should be such an art. So in Sweden, after all, someone in the work who can ask a dealer if Auto X is on the journey and when or not? Is there any experience?
