Hello together, XC 90, first registration 03.2005, one week after delivery phone defective. Stand by in the workshop until troubleshooting 1 week. Then up to approx. 15,000 km except the usual flap noises nothing, then low cooling water loss. Diagnosis after several days in the workshop: no error to find. At approx. 23,000 km again alarming “cool water loss”, now the diagnosis exhaust gas in the cooling water, cylinder head damage. Volvo rejects warranty, because Heico Chip. Heico picks up car, replaces on warranty head and seal. Duration another week. According to Heico. Damage can not be returned to the chip. Car comes back, dealer does not come to drive it again sample and passes it to me. I drive 500m, noises on the rear axle, car goes back to the dealer, diagnosis: both wheel bearings defective at the rear. KM-stand now about 25,000 (three zeros!,not 4). Before the XC 90 I have driven over a period of about 10 years, and perhaps 300,000 km 3x540i. The workshop time for these cars can’s together do not belong to the joy.

Tomorrow I have 2 dates, and I’m pretty sure that it will go away then. So I’ll probably get off my Volvo and stand there without it. What now? Have very good leasing offers (even from my dealer, Volvo is not present at the forum).

Hello! For 3 days the radio has been spinning in my XC90. Suddenly jump, without my intervention, the fixed stations. I listen e.g. classical – radio, the station suddenly jumps on RBB. If I press the button “6” (with me INFO radio), short INFO radio appears, but after 5 or 6 seconds another station, which I have not set at all anywhere. Sometimes also nothing jumps over! Has anyone ever had such a thing? Although only a small thing, but like all small things annoying. Will not hope that I have to bring the car to the workshop again because of this. Would then be the 5th time in 3 months…. Maybe you have a tip??

Hello municipality, AUTOBILD has announced for the new edition (next Friday) the “discovery” of the new S60. Why actually S60 ? The S80 is over-/overdue ! And besides: The all-awaited V90 would have been just as advanced and then the V70 would be on, wouldn’t it? Or DO the only photos of the already published XC60 off? Questions about questions. Still 2x sleep… Ulli ( who is surprised that a BILD newspaper can cause such impatience with him !? )

Hello together, for some time – i.e. for about 10 days – I have a problem with the radio reception or the radio sound. XC90, MY05, Premium Sound System. In the room Duisburg, Essen I listen to one live. Only the sound is pretty quiet…. . First of all a noise, then the sound falls out at the back, then the center speaker. Nix more with room sound or something. . Renewed transmitter choice via the function button does not bring any improvement. Another transmitter brings short-term relief regarding the sound, but not the content – (this is so here in the region ). A change to the CD brings the desired room sound (but no news). Who knows this problem ? Who has a solution ? And what is this solution ? saluti elkman target-leading hints are rewarded with a beer at the next GT.

Hello, one of you has installed the cockpit decors of Prewoodec at his XC90 and can put a few pictures in here – maybe even in aluminum or piano lacquer optics. What do you think of these decors ? Do the cheap ? Or help the optics to loosen up a bit.
