    according to the manual you only have to change the lufi every 40000 km. but if I look at the whole flower dust at the moment I wonder if that makes sense. how do you handle it? every 40t km or more times in between?? thank you Bildeve

  • Exchange phone vs. drink holder?

    Hi, I just bought myself a V70 D5 (diesel 163 HP Bj 09/02). The following problem. I hate these built-in car phones. My newer has the communication package. I would love to have a correct drink stop instead of the telephone keyboard. Can you change that? Also this pseudo phone in the center console bugs me… Also: Unfortunately I belong to the smoking guild and can hardly believe that there is no proper ashtray in the D5. Only such an emergency solution for the center console. Is there perhaps still any way to change that? Last question: Mine now has 255/50/17 tires. Is that good or bad. Does this make the car better/bader than with the serial tire? I am very grateful for a few answers!

    Hello, How is the V8 actually slowed down at 210 ? (Why don’t I ask at all) I had a clear track and a nice empty piece of highway today (slightly sloping). My moose ran well over 230 (lt Tacho) for a long time anyway – what after GPS nevertheless resulted about 223 km/h. Would I with my unchipped 2.5T at an elecronically controlled V8 “passing” ?   • Oil pressure problem

    Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me here…. I sold my faithful 850 2.5 20 V and now I get a V 70 II 2.4 with 170 HP and hope it wasn’t a mistake. He has a few problems where the biggest oil pressure is. With a cold machine everything is ok, as soon as the oil gets warm the valves clapping from about 2200 rpm. If I take some gas away, the valve drive calms down. But as soon as I give gas again, the clapping will be louder. From A to B….. under 2000 rpm. Alerdings I was yesterday on the highway and a little faster ( 140-150 km/h ) with once the valves were quite loud and I slowly took away gas, then came the message : No oil pressure engine shut off. I did so too and waited about 10 minutes. After that I drove slowly and the message did not come any more. There were no mechanical noises except the valves very quiet. So today oil and filter changed….The oil was dark and The filter had set its task long ago. In the lid of the filter I found mud and metal abrasion. The oil trap also siffs a little. I cleaned the solenoid valve as far as possible. Everything reassembled and test drive….. On the highway again the message. No oil pressure engine shut down and previously loud clapping the valves What can it be? Exitus or half as bad??? For tips or concrete tips. I’m grateful… Oh yes..it doesn’t work that right in comparison to my old 850……….despite the same engine power mfg

  • And it cracks, beats and vibrates still in the XC90…

    Time HE into the forum! As some certainly know, my XC90 has been cracking for some time now. Now also a vibration has joined, which occurs between 140-145. It is quite annoying, because you actually always drive this speed on the Austrian AB.. The SuFu was unsuccessful to save us these comments. Should I now exchange the SEM screws with the rubber piece? Where do I get something like this? Skandix and Ebay spits nothing out… I also noticed that the my neighbor also drives an XC90I BJ04 with 260.000km and this is also easy, if this is heard however questionable… Thanks to him has driven me to the Swedes again, otherwise it would have become an outlander or such a can, thank God not! But back to the topic: I also noticed that the cracking had disappeared 2 weeks. The Divke got new front flaps. But what does that have? it to do? This cracking occurs only when I hit full, and ride over a small unevenness, fittingly only when the carrots complement each other to twist. And what could that be about vibrating?     Hello together, I have already tried the search but unfortunately the threads are already quite old and therefore I would like to open a new one here. There was already a thread which also dealt with the max. height of 2m (from 2012). Maybe up to today has already done some things… We drove this year for the first time with our offspring on holiday and have noticed that even with our V70II (a roofing) the loading volume has exhausted at some point 😉 Now we have I have already looked at some roof boxes on Thule.com, but I am totally clueless about the boxes and the necessary accessories 🙁 The following points are important to me: Max. 2m height of the vehicle incl. roof box due to ferry, A lot of additional storage space through the roof box, aerodynamically it should be, loadable from both sides, security options in the box should be present s one, it should also look good 😉 Do you have some tips for me which roof box I could use? Which accessories do I still need? Have also looked at some load carriers. There are these “wingbars”. Do they do what? Some time ago I saw a very flat roof box in the Volvo accessory range that fits exactly between the roof rails. But don’t know what’s called anymore. I thank you for your answers!
