Hello everyone. With my V70 now after 85000km the dipped light in front to the right burned through. No problem I thought, I had with my first V70 Mj. 2001 more often. Plaste cover down, plug off, span off, lamp change, everything went easy. But with my present, how should I get there to the lamp? The rubber cover goes down, but then, the lamp is stuck so far in it, nobody gets there. In the Volvo book it is nice explained, but the practice looks quite different. A call to the friendly, who told me, can be that I caught the Mj. where first the front thruster and then the complete headlight is removed, only to change the lamp. Is there with Volvo still everything in order. Has any already had lamp problems with the same model year, so 11/2004. Thank you in advance for answers.

Problems with Comfort Call heater
Hello, and another question about the stand-up heating….. I had – like probably some others also – in my XC90 D5 the stand-up heating function released and then in the spring the AEM module with Comfort Call installed. It also worked everything, whereby the last “test run” (I just checked every few weeks if the SH works) is about 5 weeks ago and went successful. Today I could have the SH the first time needed, and there was unfortunately nothing at all. In answer (you call in principle his car……) I got only the message that the participant “temporarily not available” was. Then I expanded the SIM card and checked it in my mobile phone. Result: I could call and call. So the card and the connection are ok. Then I put the card back in place, the plug connection solved and fixed again (since the installation was unfortunately the first time that I put a hand on it). Result: There was a call sign (so no temporally not available), but it was not possible to get the answer to the question. So there was nothing else to do the same thing.

The first sight contact with my big red
hello elch fan’s yesterday I got from my friendly one call that almost knocked me over “your car is standing on the farm, do you want to see it?” he should come to the end of the season, and if I wanted and then he stood there on GREAT WHITE FLAT, on the snowy yard, in STRAHLENDER SONNE, GREAT, RUBINROT with COLOURS, simply GE…, the weather really fit and I was thrilled and no matter how the color looks in bad weather, here in MT I have already read that it is not so great, in the sun of the HAMMER, is of course not everyone’s taste. next week on Friday I can take it in reception, since still AHK and return sensors have to be installed, did the sensors have to be ordered too late after, but should not be a problem, Saturday I hope to be able to report to you about my first trip gruß hotxc90 how long can be a week?

Volvo S60 from 15″ to 17″ ..TÜV, conversion, other?!
Good day, I have to buy new rims for my black S60. Found now which I like (ASA GT1 silk matt black). In the partial review (which includes my car) is now a list with runs and hints. Below are the display of the front and rear apron and the reworking in the wheel box (short form..the original text is difficult for me to understand). First I can not imagine exactly something under it and second I wonder if I get problems if I do not do this now and just have the new wheels screwed on.My questions are now: 1. Does the TÜV take the car off then? 2. Can damage to tyres and rims occur, respectively on the car? 3. Are there any risks that could occur or other thoughts that I should make? At the moment there are 15 inch rims with 195/90 tires on it and then I would like to have 17 inch rims with 225/45 tires installed. [My thought is now that the wheel should actually have the same size with larger rim diameter and narrower tires].

Small but powerful additional lights
Good day to the lighting specialists Is there any way to install *in* on a V70 AWD D5 (2007) additional headlights instead of *in front”. I would like to have more light, but the usual “pots” in the north above the carross series are too impractical and to be endangered in the city. (Park pushers by others and already the light width is not correct anymore). The installation could also be associated with effort in the sense of body adjustment, which would still be worthwhile given the expected life of the car (to hold 12 or 20 years). Technically, there are lights that are small and for which perhaps already a installation place would be found. They should also not stand below and reduce the ground clearance (and edge stone “freedom”. For ideas best thanks.

My S60 is clapping somewhere in the back…
Hello, my S60 D5, 11.2007, 90TKM, Momentum clatters somewhere in the back. It sucks immensely. It’s nothing from the engine, it starts when the road only gets a bit worse. I can’t locate it. The seats worked, was louder – so something in the trunk. Everything looked through, got out – nothing was better! There I put the seats up again and had the feeling it won’t get quieter – but not trunk? Well my question – I used SuFu and read that I’m not standing there alone with the problem. Some write about noises from the hat rack and also roof sky behind should have called in. What did you do to turn it off? Any foam parts stuffed in somewhere, or what? Maybe I can do something with it according to the motto – error… Thanks for help Jaro

V70 year 2002-2003 Sales advice – Diesel vs. petrol
Hello dear people, I would have needed advice. I would like to buy a V70 year 2002-2003. Unfortunately, I am not so sure if it should be petrol or diesel. I tend to have more diesel. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Volvo Diesel. And in the price class where I’m looking, most are over 250 tkm, one even over 400 tkm. Can I possibly give you advice. How are the diesel engines of Volvo. What is more durable diesel (163 Ps) or gasoline (140 Ps)? What is cheaper from the maintenance? Bzw. From repair? What is more repair prone? I assume that there are no differences between gasoline and disel in the electronics. I know that the series (v70 2000-2007) has quite a lot of problems with the electronics. Is that really so? What do you have to pay attention to when buying V70 (benzin and diesel) in principle? I would be very grateful for some advice. I used to have a S60 Bi-fuel 2007 Inscription. But having problems with the car has been quite a bit of good warranty. But I still had a bit of advice.

…where did the oil come from?
Today I have noticed with horror that there are some (approx.10) oil stains in my garage. I then went to the search immediately where the oil could come from. I found a “wet” spot on the right side (passenger) in the front, below, the cooler. The floor covering and the overlying parts were smeared with oil, but not very much that some oil has dripped down. I have examined all hoses for possible leaks but found nothing. I also controlled the hoses from the servo pump, nothing. But where does the oil come from? The car was in inspection about three weeks ago and about two weeks ago the complete lumping was changed. If something had been there, you should have noticed that.
