Hi, I have the following problem: My retrofit radio (BLP 870) latest version restarts (booting) every time I start the engine. In principle OK, but annoying, if the engine is turned off only for a short (or long) time, because you wait for someone and stay in the car. By booting everything is again “high-speeded” like the automatic coupling of the mobile phone or the connection with the hotspot (wg. ONLINE-TMC). The latter unfortunately also does not work automatically. Moin Moin! My XC90 got a scratch on the glasses. It’s a 2mm impact and the disc is torn on both sides of it about 6mm each. (only the outer) Now my question: Where and how would you have it repaired? There are alternative possibilities, (e.g. a repair with resin on discsDoctor,CarGlas & Co.) or let the disc completely replace, e.g. at the . If you have the defect repaired, this takes over without own participation the partial cascade. However, the thick elk is leased and one has to have repairs carried out, if I am not mistaken, by a specialist workshop. Hello Volvo specialist world, since I’m playing with the thought in the next time from the Omega B MV6 Caravan on a V70 R station wagon, my question to you, whether there is also the V70 R with foldable rear bench in third row like e.g. in the Mercedes E-Class, or whether retrofitting is possible (the older Volvo models had this partly ex factory). A seven-seater would already be worthwhile with us with three children from time to time for shorter distances. In this connection, the question as to how it is ordered in the V 70 with the strap-on of the kids with three child seats (seat increase with side supports) around the interior width. So: I had a V70 2.5 TDI (140 hp) until recently, was quite satisfied with it, but I sold the car with about 180 000 km on the hump. Then I was faced with the question: V70 2.4D or D5 and new cars or about one year old. I decided for a 2.4D of the model year 2004, about one year old, although I had concerns, one will feel the 9 hp less compared to the 2.5 TDI. But I was surprised: there is nothing, I mean even, that goes through better. Has I had so busy that I had a performance check done. And that instead of 131 even 138 hp and 280 even 305 nm torque. Now the question of the round can be explained to me as well.

hello, in a hurry I have petrol instead of diesel refueling S60D5 ,in the tank I still had about 20 liter diesel and from provided I have ca 35 liter petrol refueling and I drove further. after about 50 km the car has stopped then naturally ADAC and workshop. Does anyone have any real experience? what harm and cost are to be expected. thank you for answer.

Since the beginning of the year I drive a Volvo XC90 V8 Bj 95. A great car and since the conversion to LPG ( ca. 18 L / 100 km ) 10 cents / km a really cheap V8, especially with the driving pleasure!!! Problem: It accelerates powerfully up to exactly 190 km/h and then brutally regulates (also on petrol operation). Can you override this fun brake? My Volvo dealer says no! I hope someone from the fan community knows it better or has a advice, especially since the vehicle papers are at 210 km/h! Greet Lutz

Moin together. I’m curious if someone has the same problems. I’ve had a V70 D5 year 2002 since May. Was really excited until it rained more often. Get in one morning and notice a 5 cm high water puddle on the passenger side in the footroom. The friendly one meant this is due to the processes in the engine room, if the protective grills are blocked and dirt in the drainpipe (should probably also have very small diameters) is. Then the water runs into the interior. Must be built apart (disk wiper off and cover off etc. and clear the pipe. Could be that kind of thing? There should be no connection to the interior, or? Recently, the water also gets through at the top of the handles, as though not everything can run off on the roof. That hasn’t happened to me yet with any car. Had so far only German factories. Otherwise, I’m happy with the car, but if this is a problem for many people it scares me to buy a Volvo again. Sometime it rusts from the outside. I’m grateful for your comments.

I’m not happy with the S80 2.5T AWD (photos are still coming) and now there are new summer tyres in the dimension 225/50 R 17 due. I used to drive on an Audi A4 quattro Bridgestone RE050A. I was actually very satisfied with that, only the wear was rather high. However, because I drive hardly more than 6-8’000 km per summer, I can live with it. However, I don’t know if the Bridgestone harmonizes well with the S80. Since I am also often on curvy routes and passes on, good curve behaviour and for the emergency a short braking path are important to me, especially in wet weather, if you have any less reserves. The tyre should also be somewhat quiet, other characteristics (roll resistance, consumption, etc.) do not give me a big part?

The alarm system can be activated afterwards by software update, right? I have model year 2004. Where can I get this update at a reasonable price? in Holland?
