My V 70 D5 Premium didn’t pass the AU for the first time today with 176tsd. Something with the turbocharger, my unfriendly opinion. Error message is PO 244 charging pressure limitation magnetic valve out of order. The turbo is gone, the valve, if that were it, would come 800 teuros, the complete Turbo 1000 without installation. I don’t trust the roasting, the car runs like cut, 1200 km with a tank in mixed operation, from time to time, once a month comes the message: engine maintenance required after locking at 2500 touring. Shut down and start again was the solution until now. As a woman I don’t trust a mechanic, they always hold you for stupid and clapping in the most expensive rep. Does anyone here know the message and has an idea for the solution? Thank you and nice greetings!

S60 2.4T Fan Problem – HOT
Hello – my S60 2.4T 8/2001 has a problem: During the ride it keeps perfectly 90°C cooling average emlerature. I noticed by chance in the Torque that it goes clearly up at the stand (have stopped at 104°C). After that I caught my little Volvo tester. Both fan levels are off without air conditioning. I activate the climate, goes fan level 1 to ON. Temp rises however as said over 90… When should fan 2 trigger and what activates it? Recently I kicked it half way, then the fans ran after full pot – so as the fans still went without problems. Thernostat is also new since I have never reached more than 78°C in winter… Thanks for your help!!!

First of all the obligatory 😉 Presentation : Heisse Manfred, have problems to find suitable cars and thus “hanged” at Volvo (tja – the height makes possible). Meanwhile convinced of the brand and therefore now changed from my V70/1 to S80. So much for it… First of all thanks for the constructive contributions and suggestions – helped me with my “old” often. But have still a KLEINE question (please don’t stone – I know the topic was more often in the forum and I also read almost everything) – topic standing heating – what can I program (after I was in Holland…) how? 5% RME first “test report”

First (subjective) experience (after 100 km), which however coincides with that of other colleagues: – the nail has become significantly smaller – with warm engine softer combustion – much more ignite (cautiously you have the ignition key, already the engine is running) What I can not judge is the fuel consumption. Now it’s getting dark again and some people know the dull feeling when the light cone shows straight ahead in a dark turn… luckily there is “curve light”. At Volvo “thinkest!” although Volvo sees itself as a pioneer in safety equipment. Therefore, I am surprised that no announcement mentions “curve light”. Volvo V70 T5 P26 problem….
Good tomorrow volvo v70 fans…. Here’s my idea, I am a couple of months volvo v70 t5 Bj 2002 owner with mega power 184kw and chipped so nearly 300ps and unfortunately have a problem that I can not solve! Motor jerks from time to time at 2000-3500 revolutions it lit motor light and error was loud friendly cam wave sensor but it has fix nothing because if I am funny the battery hangs off for 10 min it goes again without problems so 50km then it starts again… I suspect a current problem because the light in exactly when jerking off and flickering at slightly…. Can anyone give me a tip? I mean the speed drops strongly up and down. At the stand or at the start never problems like from 3000 revolutions to 6000 also no problems but then switches the automatic then eh… ask for help… Mfg AnDy

Electronic failure Volvo s80 T6 2004 106tkm
Hello dear people, have a Volvo S80 I T6 with 104 tkm. If the car is standing for 2 days the battery is always dead and the car does not start. After 1 day DER starts tedious. My problem is that since yesterday the complete electronic spins. It started with the message, slides. Maintenance required and shortly afterwards followed brake failure safely stop and engine maintenance. additionally the BC and the speedometer has failed and power loss. The car has been driven as if it has only 72 instead of 272 ps and the transmission has also turned funny. At the next start also transmission maintenance was necessary. All possible lights burn like engine control lights, ABS, engine oil lamp etc. Would a new battery solve the problem perhaps ?? Would you be grateful if answers come Mfg

Bzw. till how many kilometers can you worry about an S60? 3. Can you replace the air conditioning system to be manually controlled, simply by the control panel, the climate automation; and is it still available as an air conditioning system, or as a fully functional air conditioning system? 4. Will the 2.4l engine with 140/170Ps be expected to be used with 140/170Ps, can one from experience tell me if there are significant differences in consumption and performance differences between the two variants? 5. Would I still like to know how it looks like with the automatic, how much liter will you consume more?

RTI Navi Problem
Hello to all! Yesterday I have been on the road with working navigation, wanted road perfectly found. On the start of the return trip the Navi drives out again and reports “DVD can not be read, DVD insert again ” . Ok I remembered this topic of course in the forum and today first took out DVD and controlled. DVD looks like new, nevertheless carefully cleaned with microfiber cloth and special cleaner for DVDs. Same error. Now cleaning dvd inserted, says me in the display again “DVD not readable” – cleans it then nevertheless or how do I see that the DVD cleans ???????? Then Germany DVD and DVDs of other countries tries to always the same error text. What can I do now, technically not know me so, so that I want to expand something or also take out any backup without precise instruction. Is now the drive broken? have read 380 Euro or so or how can I save something. RTI is original like when buying the vehicle as a young used, EZ 07/2007 V70 II Edition Sport buy in 10/2009 the same as the DVC?

Warranty for work during recall, diesel leakage at the injector
Hello! It’s about a Volvo XC 90 D5 185 HP MJ 2006. A year ago a Volvo operation carried out a recall action.http://www.autoservicepraxis.de/cms/volvo/60181? The injector holders were replaced and the high-pressure lines replaced. Now the engine on an injector massively loses diesel. I guess: either the high-pressure line is damaged (word) or it was not held up at the injector when the transfer nut was released, so the injector is broken. The running workshop is no longer available (insolvence). Little further has a new Volvo operation opened… Therefore I can not assert warranty claims. How does this look with warranty about Volvo?
