  • Curvature conservation S60

Hello, wanted to ask you something about cavity conservation – but first of all to me – I have a 2 year old Volvo S60 2,4D with now 75,000km on it – was already active in this forum earlier – but unfortunately I have obviously changed the password – and the email is no longer correct (old name was joeJAI). I am very satisfied with the car – and had no major problems up to now (your accident – Delle in the door/coating wing). However, I am extremely careful with the car. Now my question: Have you already had a cavity conservation done? Does one of you know if they can seal the doors inside (because of the glass pane/mechanics etc.)? Will the disc be expanded – or do they only flood the lower area of the door? My car has no rust problems and it also comes out with the doors good fat – but as I said extremely loud driving with the car and it can only help – I have already informed myself about the various possibilities – but only with regard to the materials used. Many thanks for your help – beautiful greetings to Hancho – I can not really fix the car – I can not drive a little bit

  • V 70II Power socket to activate luggage compartment!?

Hello, about the SuFu I have already found out that for the activation of the pre-set cable 1. the fuse and 2. the component 9442190 is necessary. Unfortunately the mentioned links to the installation instructions of Volvo dead-end lanes, the pages are no longer displayed. So, now the question: What is this for a component and where does it come in? Can you possibly bridge this? On the display by means of the on-board computer it does not matter to me, the connection is only “consciously” used under supervision. I would like to install to the right instead of the cigarette lighter socket two 4mm sockets for my model construction charger and would like to use the pre-installation e.g. fuse and cables. Greeting, Elchisti

  • Llumar or Trim-Line??

Hello, I have a question about disc tones.Which film has better UV protection and heat protection? Have the following offers for Chemnitz: Trim-Line: 308-340 euro Llumar: 250euro On the phone I was told that Trim-Line has better UV protection and the film could be removed without glue residue, for the purpose of reselling the car. What experiences have you made with the foils and maybe someone has a cheaper idea. Thanks in advance!!

  • too high fuel consumption V70 T5 II

Hello, since I took out the two fuses to erase errors from the control unit overnight a month ago, my Volvo consumes a lot more than before, around the 15l/100km now and before 13l/100km. I also feel that the performance has become less. My Volvo has a chip tuning from Heico. What can this be about?? Must any update be made?? I ask for help. Thank you

  • Problems with auxiliary heating – repair possible?

Hello, I’ve had a problem with my heater since last winter. Every time you’re running, a background noise develops, comparable to a 50cc moped at the speed stop! It’s megalaut! So I went to the workshop and presented it. As I’m used to by Volvo, you don’t want to stay there for long with analyses, but to replace the whole heater! But the function is not affected in any way. Does anyone know the problem? Can’t I have the heater repaired somewhere else (vlt with the manufacturer of SH? Webasto or so)? I’m grateful for any help. When it gets colder again and the heater jumps on again I have to do something… Thank you. Jens Achja, it’s an S60 Bj2003.

  • Volvo V70 P26 D5 (185PS) Automatic TF-80SC switches from 3th to 2nd gear

Hello dear Volvo driver, a friend of mine has a V70 P26 D5 with 6 steps automatic (TF-80-SC) model year 2006 currently 207,000km and has the following problem: – For example, if you want to turn inside with the car at a junction, go on the brake and stay on it and then the gearbox switches down the driving steps, you notice a (double) jerk through the driveline and the whole car. It feels like an invisible rear driver has driven into the rear. At normal, as well as at the heart speedy speed the automatic switches very unobtrusively and without jerking. – Resetting this jerking in the driveline in which you use the manual switching function and even from the third drive stage to the second switch. All other driving stages are high-turning and switch-down unobtrusively – My gear ratio is supposed to be very low – but the same thing is found for a second time when switching down here is only if you have experienced a lightly on the dialling of the gas pedal.

  • Failed tuning V70 2.4T

Since I cold-formed my V70R a few weeks ago, I have now switched to a V70 2.4T. Used, almost fully equipped, and equipped by the previous owner with Heico Sprort suspension. And a performance increase was already in it. Originally also by Heico, but because of not falling converted to another (renomated) company, whose name is not yet revealed for the time being. Key data: 147 -> 176 kW 285 -> 340 Nm Downright strong in the suit, but somehow the splash was missing above all. Compared to the V70R (me later 215kW) anyway, but also the final speed was not really intoxicating. From 200km/h it became tough. What makes the clever farmer …. he puts the trecker on a roller test stand. And see there: Impressive 394 Nm at 3100 rpm, but also an evil performance and torque break from 4700 rpm. Top performance lean 165kW. Love Tuner should not look like that. The breakout is still more unpleasant!

  • Throttle flaws ??

Halo together. I drive a V70 II 2.4 petrol. 140 hp 165tkm ran. The speed fluctuates when you go off the gas and then commutes at 1000-1100 rpm. It also doesn’t run quite round. Drossel flap was already at ECU. Error code comes as soon as the ignition is on is ECM913F no plausible requirement Unround running comes because the MSG wants to regulate the speed with the injection. After short driving distance then ECM903F ECM980F comes in. What can it be. Drossel flap test via Vida was inconspicuous. Can it be that the software of the flap has to be recharged?

  • v70 T5 receives irregular gas

Hello in the forum! With my T5 with 140,000 km, the following problem has recently emerged: When accelerating, i.e. under load, the engine does not pass evenly. One could describe it as pulsating or pumping, as if one were giving full throttle and then taking back the gas again and again in a second. The symptom occurred gradually. At first only at full throttle and high speeds, recently also at half throttle and less load. Does anyone know the problem? The on-board computer shows no error message so far.

  • Dremoque curve 2.4D (D5 with 136hp)

Now I also have to start a thread – for a long time I would be interested in the torque course of my 2.4l diesel with 136 hp (BJ 2003). I have already seen curves of the then ‘unstrained’ 163hp version on tuner pages, but my 136hp version would have to be even flatter, since the peak value is also lower. Does anyone have a torque curve of this engine ECU version? Still enthusiastic about the felt absolutely uniform force unfolding from approx. 1600 – >4000 rpm. Passes me every now and then that it goes into the limiter when overtaking, because simply the force does not collapse noticeably. I have still not driven another diesel that has a similar harmonious force unfolding. So if someone has a curve, please come here with it.
